  1. Girliest shoes I own? All of them, but especially my Frederick's of Hollywood 4" stiletto pumps in leopard, zebra and pinstripe. I can't forget my sparkly camaflage 5" stiletto pumps with nickle plated steel heels and purple glitter 4" stiletto pumps both from the Highest Heel.

I´m gona guess i´m not the only one who wants to see pics of those.

  2. I think this is a love it or hate it thing. That kind of shoes is often seen as fetish and there is a reason for it, some people love it, some don´t see the appeal and it´s just a matter of personal taste. Some people find it curious, but i think it all comes down to a gut reaction, you just get it or you don´t, like pretty much every matter of taste.

  3. Semantics can be tricky, i guess i was not aware of how the term could be offensive since english is not my native language, so some things that offend other people are not really obvious to me, or i think they are not as loaded, so to speak. I know that this term in particular can be some kind of stereotype, but i definately did not use it to hurt any sensibility, i guess i just like to call my shoes girly.

  4. I'm no experto in this field, so i can't really know if what you say can be done, however i'm pretty sure that the people who can help you will need more info. For example, what material are they made of? (leather and PU are very different, and have to be treated diferently, for example), can you put on the shoes and they just feel very thight or can't you put them on at all? etc

  5. I love how this thread turned into a grammatical argument, isn't i great when that happens in a forum (hint: it's not). Anyway, it's interesting to see that the red color seems to influence greatly the opinion about the shoe, maybe it's because they stand out more, to me the pink with lace pair that chris posted seems way more feminine than the red ones because i have seen red shoes in the men section (not common, but i have seen them) but i have not seen lace shoes designed for men. Not only do I belive they are more feminine, I think they are gorgeous, and I hate chris because he has them and I don't

  6. Hello everyone I am curious to see the most feminine pair of shoe that men in this forum have, so i opened this thread in case you want to share a picture of said pair and share why you think they are the most feminine in your collection (this opinion is what i think i will find really interesting, to see how everyone defines a feminine shoe), if you wear it outside etc. So to start here is my most feminine pair post-21885-133522938053_thumb.jpg To start they a pair of mule sandals, and to me that is the most feminine style of footwear there is, the color combination (white and gold) help that impression too, but what make them stand out the most are the rhinestones mounted on the golden detail in the front, that is something that you really don't see in men shoes (generally speaking) and are the only pair i have with such a detail. I don't wear heels in public, so i don't go out in them (or any other heels) i use them around the house only. I think they are really cool, and quite comfortable (my girlfriend often asks how do i cook while wearing them and if i don't get extremily tired).

  7. Good for you, heeling it´s not for everyone, but at least you can do an informed choice now, and that kind of choice is what we all support here i think. And i´m glad you have a better apreciation for the effort your wife (and other women) do by wearing them.

  8. Women can talk about heels and wearing them every day, at lunch, at home or in any ohter situation, and nobody thinks thats peculiar. The only person i can talk about my heels is my girlfriend, and she is not exactly enthusiastic about the theme, so i have to come online and talk to other men about it (i´m extremely thankfull for it by the way), so it´s only natural that this forum has more men than women, for some of us it´s the only way to discuss our love for heels.

  9. Hi i´m not so now, but no quite old here, i´m confused now. But seriously, why don´t you tell us more about yourself? do you like heels on others? do you use them yourself? what kind of heels you like? how long ago you found out you like them? etc

  10. I know this may not sound right, but do yourself a favor and don't use heels behind her back. Lying to your wife is not a good idea, and in this particular case you have to consider that there is nothing wrong with wearing heels, so why lie? When she finds out (and she will, eventually) her reaction will probably be a very bad one, not so much because of the heels but because she will fell you don't trust her. I know this is a very delicate subject, but search around this forum and you will find a lot of stories about how we told our significant others and the often positive results. Telling her about it may not be exactly easy, but it's better to deal with it now, not when she finds out about your deception, in my case thins were simple, and now i can wear heels whenever i want around the house, i'm glad i did this, and in the end it was not really such a big deal, it just took some comunication an a little time so she would get used to the idea.

  11. I have 3 black pairs (one of them patent), two white pairs and a brown pair with some leopard print. I would love to have red or silver, but my size limits some of my options, so i have not found them yet (last week i saw a beautiful silver pair in size 10, but they were too small, and they didn't have them in size 11, so I have to keep looking)

  12. If the white ones hurt to much and they are a UK 8 send them to me love them

They are a size 7.5 UK i think, and i would mail them to you, but would feel pretty ridiculous paying probably more than a 100 dollars (from Colombia to UK, must not be cheap) for pair of 5 dollar shoes :silly:

I have not tested them properly however, but i assure you i won't give up easily.

  13. There is no reason to fell guilt at all, I know that it's hard to go against many years of social programming, but that is all there is to it, a social convention. We don't hurt anyone, and our choice of footwear affects no one but yourself, so there is no reason to feel guilty. I think you (stratty) should try to reprogam yourself in this area, because there is no reason to punish yourself for what should be a rewarding experience, i understand you, and i used to feel a little shame at first, but you should really try to get over it.

  14. Yesterday I went to a shop where they were having a sale, so I decided to get these shoes post-21885-133522935146_thumb.jpg Right now those are my thinner heels, and while the white ones squeeze my feet a little, the heel is not as hard to walk in as I had tought. So I wore the brown ones yesterday while I made dinner and before bed and, once I got used to the feeling, found them comfortable enough. I plan to wear the white ones all day on sunday, so either they give in or I do, but overall I'm really happy with my purchase.

  15. If I may ask are you going to follow in their trend and wear some heels as well, I dare you.

Lol, my heels are strictly indoors only, so no i will not follow, so far the only not-forum person who knows i wear heels is my girlfriend and the salesgirl of the store where i bought my last pair of heels.

For the time being i will just enjoy the sound of the heels in my workmates, sadly only the girl who started with the heels keep using them now, but she wears them often, so i don't really complain.
