I'm size 40 or 41 in the European sizes. it's 9 or 10 in the US women's or 7 or 8 on the UK men's size. I can get either men's or women's shoes in my size. I'm lucky

Can you buy your shoes in regular women's sizes or do you need larger sizes. Tell us your shoes size here. [ This Message was edited by: Firefox on 2002-01-06 21:46 ]

There must be some stories from your teens and childhood that other would like to hear. Maybe you can relate to their experiences too. Post your replies in this thread. [ This Message was edited by: Firefox on 2002-01-05 17:25 ]
Change of heel on Baratts boots
in Shoe repair and modifications
Posted
I got a few pair of the Dewey style from Baratts which fitted my feet great in a 41. These had 4" heels tapering to 1" square or so. On one pair I fitted a pair of 3.75" heeels 2" square, from an old split pair of plastic PV boots. This was rather more chunky for a different look. I did this by chiseling through the heel nails with a hammer and screwdriver, and then screwing on the replacement heel with 2 inch self-tapping chipboard screws. A slight shank alteration completed a succesful job. I'll be posting pictures in this thread.
