Being 5"8 i quite like being that little taller in heels. Just a shame i only see this alone in the house. Anyone here had shoes with lifts? i saw that add on here and some of them looked 100% normal while others did look quite as good.......

I'm pretty much like that. I have odd latenight walks but never when i think i'm gonna see many people about. I still want to go into the next town and try and wear them while i do my banking ect.

I run 10k's,half and full marathons. I was pleased last year when i did a marathon in 2:52. Any time under three hours isnt to bad at all

People who sit in the middle lane at 62mph and those who do it in the outside lane at 70mph. Ok ok thats the limit but hell theres nothing in the other lanes. Its 1am and i wanna get home so " Getta outta the way!" OMG i'm turning into " White van man "

I'm actually thinking of taking a swing at this very issue soon, although instead of welding steel I'm leaning towards milling some sandals out of billet aluminum (CNC milling ftw) and using some nylon coated cables for straps.

If I go this route, is anyone interested in a pair? Computer assisted milling has the obvious benefit of easy, precise reproduction and it might be nice to offset some of the cost

Abit like yourself i'd like to try and make my own. But i dont think my 15year old CNC maching center would be up to it. Still i think they could be made by using more basic machine's in a kinda "one off" kinda way. Also my boss might ask me "What the hell are you doing! " lol

I dont really know. I like the way the feel as there so much smaller and ligher than i wear most of the time. I like the way they look but i dont really do it to look girly i've never really felt the need to go into " Girl mode" but hey you never know:smile:. I just like them along with Ford Fiesta's and some music that i only listen to in the car.

I agree with you on that one BR. I work with 20people 18 of them are alright but theres two that are rude to every body ( husband and wife ) They only talk to people when they want some thing and the rest of the time just walk right past you. About a year ago they were very very rude to me and i have not spoken to them since. This was quite hard for the first few months as i'm not that kinda person but not i find it easy to treat them as they treat me/others. I also hate people who mis-quote "saying's" like Its cheap it half the price. Of course it is every things cheaper at half the price when it should be cheap at twice the price. I could go on moaning about stuff here all night

I do quite abit of running and last year i ran a 2:52 marathon. So when say i did the said time the first question is "Have/did you do the london marathon" i say "no" and we move on I could set a new world record and nobody woule care because it wasnt at london. I know thats a more personal pet hate but it drives me crazy. That and the kind of chav ( i hate that word ) types who walk around dripping with HUGE gold ( copper/tin/brass??) chains. They dont even look abit real . Like some kinda really naff Jimmy Savile
