Welcome to the group. Give your wife more time. It took a while for mine to come around. Now I wear heels in front of her everyday and I get no reaction at all. Just take it easy and go slowly.

Scotchio - welcome. This is great advice from kfsteve391 and I urge you to keep trying with your wife. Maybe if some of us could get together in London we could show her that there is nothing so strange about men in heels and that our lives are so much better when we are accepted by our family.

Welcome. You're definitely lucky to have a wife that supports your interest. Any reason you haven't gone out in public with them? Between a pair a chunky heel boots, and a pair of longer length jeans in bootcut style, it's pretty easy to be be discreet during a public outing. It's definitely a different experience than just wearing heels in the house.

I'm lucky to have a caretaker in the apartment block in London where I have a flat . As I'm not there the whole time,she takes in my parcels. She has seen me going out in heels quite often, so now she opens the parcels for me and tells me what she thinks of my choice - usually complimentary, as she wears 5" heels herself.

I think it is great to have the opportunity to to talk to a stranger abou a subject that you know you have in common .Take them off for a drink and make a really good new friend. If it goes well, you've got a mate to go shoe-shopping with and someone you can talk really openly with about your shared enthusiasm. Itworked brilliantly for me when I was still nervous about being out in public in heels.

My GF lives about a mile away from me and I am glad to kick off the 42 heels when I walk round to her flat. Mind you I keep sme 6" pumps with her!
