  1. I quite agree with JeffB. Because I always liked wearing heels and enjoyed the comfort of wearing them and seeing them on my feet. Very stylish. Like he says---"Simple as that".

    Cheers---

    Dawn HH

    I totaly agree with this!

  2. YES!!!!!

When I walk I listen. When I work and do what I do, I concentrate on what I am doing. When I hear what I perceive to be a women in heels I look up or turn to check out the sound I hear. I start my gaze low, if what I see is what I'm looking for (spike heels higher then 2"s ) I continue an upward look to see what motivates them, pass judgement on the whole picture then go back to what I was doing.

If what I see making the sound is of no interest to me, then who is motivating the noise makers is also of no interest.

All that to say heels are what I like.#1 gets my vote. I have yet to see another man wearing heels as I do. If I do see a guy wearing heels as I do, I would like very much to say HI, buy him a cup of coffee, and introduce him to my wife so she knows I am not the lone male heeler around here.

I also agree its all about the heels, not who is wearing them, as long as they are in good taste and look good with the overall apperance of a man or woman when they wear them. I like the look that a nice pair of heels give with my jeans as well as when my wife wears hers with her jeans. Heels just "complete" that look, and give a certain type of class that just looks good. I too would like to run into another guy sporting heels such as mine and would also buy the coffee. lol

  3. My wife insists I wear my heels when we go anywhere or she won't wear her's. She always asks what shoes am I wearing and most the time i let her pic. It's always a good choice.

I hope my wife and I can be where you and yours are at soon.

  4. I have wonderful experiences at Nine West stores. Over half of my collection is from there (about 30 pairs of Nine West) and all are bought and tried on in stores. I find that their staff usually treats me very well. Often I am in there for an hour trying on all kinds of shoes. These days I visit the store in Braintree (Massachusetts) as the manager and sales girls there are very helpful. I also like their shoes. They are pretty good value and look awesome. My most recent purchase is the Peanut boot, which is NOT a high heel boot, but I love it so much and wear it to work on many days.

I agree the Peanut is a great boot I tried it on and had to go down one size. I'm glad to hear that some of the rest of you are having good encountersat your local NW. Maybe the corperate will take notice that a good many guys are purchasing their products. Wouldn't htat be great?

  5. Welcome to hhplace Romulus. I hope you spend many enjoyable hours reading our comments and writing of your own adventures with high heels. Although you don't specifically say, I assume you wear heels yourself?

Yes I do Bubba and I have had some great support from all of you here at HHP through your posts. I have thought for years that I was the only regular srtaight guy, married, with children that loves to wear heels on the planet until I found this site. There has been some of the best advise given to many guys that are having difficulties with telling their wives. To me her opinion is the only one that matters, I would never want to make her uncomfortable or ashamed. I finally dug up the nerve and told her, she says she doesn't understand why I would want to wear them but if it's what I like go for it. She has been so supporting I will never be able to tell her just what it means to me to have her acceptance. I like many of you here have been through the times purging and never going to ever do this again only to have it resurface. I finally came to terms within myself that this is part of who I am and is something that hurts no one. I wear my heels mostly in private but there have been some occasions where I have ventured out. One of the first times I wore heels in public I had made a distance of about 300 yards before that super sonic ability to hear kicked in and I heard someone behind me say "yeah it's high heels", lost all nerve at that point dived out of sight off came the heels. I have found though that the more you wear your heels the more comfortable you become with yourself. I wear my heels when I want now, however there are still those anxious moments. I am just careful where I wear them. I think that if I were with my wife I would have no problem with my anxiety. The strength in numbers phenomanan. She says she doesn't mind going out with me in heels, I am looking forward to making a trip out to dinner or shopping together with our heels clacking and holding hands.

  6. Nine West is truly a great place for guys to get HH's. I have always been treated extreamely well in their stores. I was recently talking with a mgr. and she tells me that she has several guys that buy heels in her store. She has even informed their corperate HQ that she would rather have more 11's and 12's than 5's or 5.5's as the larger sizes sell out quickly. Corperate askes how many women buy those larger sizes? Not women was the reply men are buying them. I have been there a few times now and when I come in all the staff treat me like a king fetching all styles that they have in my size. They are truly amazed at just how well a regular guy can rock a pair of heels. I get more comments of how "You walk better in them than I can or most of the women that try them." They always encourage me to wear heels whenever and where ever I want. They say that my look is very natural and the heels really work for my sence of style. I have three pair of Nine's the "Romulus" which of course is my current favorite, the "Ragtime" of which I also purchased my wife the exact same boot, and a pair of western type lace up.

  7. Just wanted to say hello to evryone here at HHP and to let you know how great it is to know that there are other guys that share in the wonderful experience of high heels. I have like many of you been an avid heel lover for most of my life. I really enjoy reading about the experiences and have great admiration for the support that everyone gives to each other.
