  1. I went to my local drinking establishment last night for one or two lemonades and was greeted with the sight on virtually the entire female population of the place in micro skirts and at least 4" needle thin stilettos! courts, sandals, mules, everything! I though I had died and gone to stiletto heaven! One girl I noticed from all of them in there was wearing a pink vest top, blue denim microskirt and patent pink 5" stiletto courts! She was walking in them very well, so she obviously wears them regularly. She even managed to negotiate a very slippery drink-covered dance floor without too many problems, although she did slip and and slide a few times! I took my metaphorical hat off to her!

  2. Does anyone own any boots from La Piazza? I'm 'this' close to buying a pair and I just want to know how they fit, ie, whether I should order a size up from normal. These boots are pointed ankle boots with 6" stilettos and they are soooooo gorgeous! Any info would be greatly appreciated! Jay

  3. I've just been to see Legally Blonde 2 and that has some of the best 'heel moments' in it that I have ever seen, and besides Reese Witherspoon is totally gorgeous! I loved the pair of stiletto sandals that she wore at the very beginning of the movie and those boots were fabulous as well! It was nice that the producers left in the sexy tap-tapping of her heels in as well coz in a lot of movies you see girls walking around in heels and you never hear anything! Those 'wedding shoes' were quite something as well! Actually, the little red hearts on the soles looked very sexy. I wonder if they made the shoes slippery or not?

  4. My first time in heels was when I was about 9 years old. I tried on a pair of my mother's gold leather 5" stiletto sandals. My first thought was, "Oh my god, how can anyone walk in these?", my second thought, after I had picked myself up off the ground after discovering how slippery the soles were(!) was "Why would anyone want to walk in these?". I quickly discovered the answer and ever since then I have been in love with high heels! Jay

  5. Thought I would add my 50p's worth! I went to the shopping mall on Sunday and was just walking through the underground car park to the mall nicely clicking along in my stiletto ankle boots ( ) when I saw a very attractive brown-haired girl, about 21ish about 20 feet in front of me. Naturally, I glanced down to see what shoes she was wearing and to my utter amazement, my eyes were greeted to the sight of a pair of baby pink stiletto pumps with needle-thin heels which I would estimate to be between 5 1/2 and 6 inches high!. I immediately slowed my walking pace down as at my current speed I would pass her in a few seconds. Despite the height of her shoes, she was walking very easily so it was obvious that she was a seasoned heel-wearer! I followed her up the stairs about 10 feet or so behind so I could get a good look at her shoes and I wish I had remembered that I have a camera phone because her shoes were devastatingly sexy! They were metal-tipped as well so they made a lovely tap-tapping sound on the smooth tiled floor! Anyway, I thought I'd better pass her as I might have been done for loitering! Believe me, I had to have a sit-down to recover! Jay

  6. I have two pairs of ankle boots that I wear outside virtually all the time now. They both have 4" stilettos, one pair metal-tipped and one non-metal tipped. I would go along with the general concensus (sic) that non-metal ones are more 'safe' but I find them less exciting. I find that if I'm walking on a tiled floor in my metal tips I find myself concentrating more and how I work and trying to improve it. I find it quite useful in a way I suppose. Having said that, I have learned the hard way about walking in metal tips on more than one occasion!

  7. I personally love the girlie look! One image that I will keep with me forever I think is of a girl I saw a couple of years back. I think she was in her early to mid 20's. She was wearing a pink crop top, blue denim mini-skirt and she had wonderfully tanned legs. But the thing that grabbed my attention was what she had on her feet (obviously!). White, lacy ankle socks and pink stiletto mules. The heels must have been at least 5 1/2 inch. For me, that is one of the sexiest looks you can get!

  8. Hi Susan! Wonderful pictures by the way! Those shoes from Schuh look very nice! I would love to wear a pair like that out in the public! They look pretty slippery though! I would imagine having that strap there would be useful!

  9. SH, don't worry, I don't want you to suffer any injury! I do not plan to wear them outside with or without 3/4 length trousers! I bought them just to wear around the house as a pair of slippers if you like. I don't have any socks like you mentioned and I wear them barefoot anyway! Best Wishes Jay

  10. Hi SH I am the bass player and I don't use any pedals as yet, but I wouldn't mind a BOSS bass chorus! I am also a drummer and I have tried playing drums in stilettos! When I lived with my folks when they went out I would put my stilettos on and have a go at playing drums. You're right about the grip, or lack of it! My shoes were sliding all over the pedals so I quickly gave that up! The angle of the foot I found was better for playing though!

  11. Of course I will Julie! Just as soon as I figure out what I am going to say to the rest of the guys in the band, not to mention the punters! I have been wearing those stiletto boots more and more often now! I spent virtually the whole day yesterday wearing them out and about including my local shopping mall and Asda as well! I didn't get any comments at all even though you could hear me a mile off with my metal heels!

  12. I see what you mean! I have just found his thread about these particular shoes, and although I do know what he means, it is down to individual choice. I am not too keen on wedgies but I do not have a problem with anyone else liking and wearing them. On a more lighter note, I would love to see his face if he looks at the pic! LOL
