  1. Hi Spacey! In answer to your first question, I don't get as much work done as I should do!! My colleague does talk about her heels quite a lot, as she has noticed that I have a somewhat passing interest in her shoes! She knows that the nails of her heels are exposed and she has no problem with that at all. She too has said that she finds them very slippery at times, particularly on mall floors and she said she has slipped over a few times because of it. All of her shoes happen to have very shiney slippery soles as well so I guess that just adds to it! Has your girlfriend ever slipped over whilst wearing her nail heels? Where was she and what shoes was she wearing?

  2. one of my colleagues at work always seems to wear heels like this. so far i have seen her with 2 pairs of stiletto courts and 3 pairs of stiletto boots with the nail exposed. my ex had some stilettos were the nail was exposed but she hated it because every time we went to the mall and she was wearing them, she would be slipping and sliding about everywhere on the smooth surface, she eventually threw them away to my horror! i personally quite like the look/sound of them too, so you're not alone spacey!

  3. i would love to own a pair of Sabrinas, however, it appears that they are not available anymore on the Faith website. :D thank you for that heeling report, exitman! very informative! they look pretty slippery shoes, is that the case?

  4. Hi Heelfan! Kazaa is a program that enables file sharing between people's computers. This is a program and not a website! I've never heard of emule so I'm sorry I can't help you on that one! Best Wishes Jay

  5. hiya, welcome to our little corner of the internet!! your experiences closely mirror mine in many ways in that my first pair of true street-heeling shoes were very similar to the ones you have posted. I too play in a band and i wear 2.5" block heel pointy boots and no-one takes any notice and the few comments that i have had have all been postive!! i have a lovely pair of 4" stiletto ankle boots that i would love to wear on stage but I havent got the guts to at the moment!! i look forward to hearing more from you! best wishes Jay

  6. thank you for sharing that with us, txt-1. your post was both thoughtful and frank. i have Asperger Syndrome so I have a somewhat 'different' view on life. I have only had this diagnosed within the last two years and I am 26 years old now. I always knew that I did things 'differently'. at school I could have flashed of genius one moment and be a complete jelly brain the next. since then I have learned to accept who I am and what I do. i have no qualms with being labelled 'different' at all, because if we were all the same, the world would be a very boring place! Whats more, is that I couldn't have got where I am without the help and support of my family who understand the slightly strange things that i get up to from time-to-time!! txt-1, i wish you all the happiness in the world best wishes jay

  7. Hi Becky, I can sympathise with you on this because I bough a pair of stilettos sandals from Italianheels.com and although they are of wonderful quality, they too had plastic tips!! I was indeed most disappointed! I am sure that a cobbler or someone similar would re-tip them with metal tips for you without any trouble! Incidentally, I have always found metal tips to be more slippery than plastic ones, but then, it might have something to do with the way I walk or something! I agree with you about the sound tho! There is no sexier sound than metal-tipped stilettos!! Gorgeous boots, may you enjoy them fully! Jay x

  8. High Surprise, I have a pair not too dis-similar from the shoes you have pictured. Black patent with an ankle strap very much like that one, although the only difference being, my pair do not have the extra strap that crosses the instep. My pair have 6 3/4" heels which are surprisingly, very stable. I was expecting them to flex a little, but they are very secure. They are not La Piazza ones (i wish they were!!), but the quality is not too bad. As far as comfort goes, they do feel very comfortable to wear but walking is another thing! (for me anyway!) Those La Piazza shoes are very very sexy and they do look an awful lot of fun to wear!! I wish I could afford some! Jay x

  9. Hi Genebujold Your comments are very well thought out and wonderfully articulated, a joy to read! By the way, i took the test and statistically-speaking, I am DEFINITELY a chick! 86%!! It's kinda cool in a way although I am a guy, I think like a girl! Most of my best friends are female and I admire them a heck of a lot so I'm quite happy with that result in a way! Best Wishes Jay
