  1. I got wolf-whistled yesterday at my local shopping mall. I was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and my new stiletto heeled cowboy boots. My jeans did cover the heel but obviously not enough and as I passed these two girls, who were around 16 or 17 years old, one of them wolf-whistled at me and smiled. It was very embarrassing but at the same time, I found it really exhilarating as well!

  2. Did anyone see the shoes that the lovely Kate Thornton was wearing on The X Factor on Saturday night? For all those who didn't, they were very pointy court shoes with what looked like a 4.5 - 5" stiletto heel. Her arches looked amazing, and she walked in them very well! In fact, her shoes had more talent than a lot of the acts that were on that night (he whispers somewhat controversially!!)

  3. Hoverfly, I have a pair of them which I bought some time last year. I find them to be quite unstable and the heel is virtually 7" in a US 11. I find that the heel folds underneath the sole making it near impossible to walk in. However, the feeling of standing in such incredibly high heels is quite overwhelming!!

  4. Hi folks! I've been thinking about buying a pair of black formal-type women's trousers for quite a while now. I have loads of heels that would look great with the right black trousers! You know the sort, those ones that are bootcut or slightly flared! I see loads of girls in my office wearing them! My problem is I haven't a clue how to convert my waist size so I know what size trousers to buy! I've had a look on the net but Sherlock Holmes I aint! My waist is U.K. size 36 (hoping to be less shortly!!) If anyone can translate that into women's sizes I would be very grateful! Jay

  5. I seem to remember a few years ago, when he was in his 'Tin Machine' phase, I guess, mid-90's, he turned up at a music awards which I think was The Brits, wearing a pair of black pointy kitten-heel shoes. If my memory serves, he wore them with a black suit and looked pretty sharp! Anyones else remember this?

  6. Exitman1, I would agree with you. The heels on the 'Cahoot' shoe are pretty much 3 3/4". I thought that they may be quiet when you walk in them but they make quite a substantial noise which I like very much! They go very nicely with dark blue jeans and even with leather trousers as well!

  7. Hello everybody! Thank you for your comments! Well, they came in the post yesterday morning and I couldn't wait to try them on! They are sized UK 8 Euro 41 but they fit very very well indeed. They are very comfortable and they are quite roomy as well. These shoes are my first pair from Faith and the quality is absolutely supurb and the devliery time is exceptional - two days after I ordered off the website. Only thing was the postman waking me up at 6.45am on a Saturday morining! The first thing I noticed was that these shoes are INCREDIBLY slippery! The soles are that shiney I could see my face in them! I couldn't walk across the carpet without slipping and sliding everywhere! :) Has anyone else ever noticed Faith shoes being very slippery? Jay

  8. Hi Steph, those are some very cute shoes you have! Although I do prefer much higher heels, kitten heels are very cute and can be very sexy as well. I have a pair of Sacha pointy court shoes with kitten heels and they are supremely comfortable and very cute. One thing that I have found is that kitten heels can be very slippery to walk in, more so than some higher heels. Steph, have you noticed this? Jay

  9. Hi Kay, I think the difference in terms is that here in the U.K., virtually all types of backless shoes are known as mules but in the U.S. open-toed backless shoes are slides and closed-toed shoes are mules. I've probably got that the wrong way round so please correct me if I'm wrong! For me, you can't beat a sexy pair of closed-toed stiletto mules being worn with shiney stockings. Very slippery to walk in but that's the whole pleasure! Love Jay
