I wore my new suede boots going to work today (under jeans)

The receptionist was the first to see them and said to me

"Those are new boots ? Come closer, I want to see them".

She then said "I want to see them completely" (I pulled up my jeans)

She replied "They are really nice but the heel is too high for me"

Such a nice compliment from a women ! (And I wear higher heels than she does !!!)

Maybe one day I will wear them over my skinny jeans...

No reason you shouldn't be able to. The 3" heel height should be easy to handle, and the heel base looks to be larger than a typical stiletto heel, providing some extra stabilty. A boot with a chunkier heel would provide even more stability, and not look as feminine, but finding a pair with 3"+ heels isn't that easy.

I think if you have any reservations about wearing women's shoes in public, that look should eliminate it. At quick glance few if any people would think you're wearing anything other than a black leather shoe. Some people would just go out heeling, 'heels blazing', not caring about what the public thinks of them (some might actually do it intentionally to provoke comments). I'm on the other end of the spectrum, I'd prefer that absolutely no one knows what I'm wearing, so long jeans and dark shoes is the way for me.

Have you gone out heeling in public? If so where?

Yes they are very comfortable...I can't imagine before buying them that i'm be able wearing heels!I enjoy every moment wearing them around the house!I'm in them now and I can say that they are as comfortable as a pair of sneakers, but with an incredible stunning looks!!

Definitely boots, either with a square or pointed toe. I'm not really into any other types. The two pairs I currently own are 3 1/2" block and 3 1/2" stiletto heels, although I'm planning on getting some more.

Long, boot cut pants/jeans are great for hiding most of the heel while you're walking. You'd probably want to look for a pair that 2" + (or equivelent cm) longer than your regular length. You might also consider boots, they're apt to look less feminine, and also will provide better ankle support.

Sure I would like to wear some heeled boots outside with bootcut jeans hiding heels, but the heel will make noise and everybody will see that I'm wearing girl shoes...Moreover I think I'm too young for streetheeling...

That's a great way to start. If you look, you might be able to find some shoes/boots wth 4" block heels, if you want to work up to that height before moving over to stilletto heels.

I just love the feeling of wearing high heels...I'm training now at home to be confident wearing this great shoes! I'am a boot lover and I think I will be fastly addicted wearing heels (I practice everyday at home...and its hard to take them off!). When I voted for this thread few month ago I say that I "would like to wear them, but circumstances will not allow you to wear them". But today it had change and I wear my own heels...I can feel by myself that wearing heel consists in...and I just love it...So I wear my ankle boots heels only at home at this time!

Wow i can't imagine being able wearing heels outside for the moment...i'm a little shy for that I think i'll only wear them at home...But its a fact that being heeled improve such a feeling...I can't find words!

You did not specify the height of the boots you are wearing now.

When you are comfortable wearing them, you may want to go higher.

My suggestion: maybe you would prefer to do it one step at a time.

It takes some time to master wearing heels correctly and a lot of practice !

they're 3"...You're right i need a lot of practice...I hope one day I could wear stiletto's...but not at the moment!!!

As a new "heeler" I wear heels whenever I can but only at home...I need some training to wear them greatly...but I love the feeling of being heeled...I might become addicted in a near future...is it normal?!
