  1. Swearing at or around children is just uncalled for. They are innocent for such a short time now. As for use its uses, I think that it is not the word that makes a person feel better, it is how you say it. The tone, inflection, strength of voice, and the attitude that it is said with, is what makes one feel better. You could say "flipping prairie dogs" with the same zest and zell of which you say f*%$, and feel just as good. The problem is that these words have become part of everyday language and use. (This comes from one that does have a bit of potty mouth every now and again.)

Wrong again, HF. The problem with Susan and the board was that members refused to read her comments fully and, most of the time, took them totally out of context. Then, in their eagerness to "skewer" her, headed off in all kinds of wild directions with replys that were totally inappropriate. (The same way by trying to say that I was equating what Jeff said with pedophilia.) The more she tried to put her words back in their original context, the more offense was taken by the people that were trying to tell her what she meant. Which, in my opinion, was totally wrong. I

Now, HF, If you and the others here can't read, I suggest you/they signup for some badly needed adult education to bring their comprehension skills up to speed. In the meantime, I really don't care of you don't like my attitude or what you think. And, no matter how well meaning, I don't need any hints and/or advice from you. (Is this politically correct enough for you?).

Besides, (once again) what I said was my opinion.......and if you don't like my opinion --------------- I hope this is the end of this discussion.

Bubba, I have to disagree with you on this about Susan. I, being a women in a similiar situation as she was (a former abusive relationship), I tried to empathize with her, and she turned it on me that I was siding with the men. Please tell me how that is possible?

As for acceptance, that is most likely something that will not happen in a public forum. The human race is one that is set on destroying itself. We do not want to accept something that is different - religion (Ireland, middle east), sexual orientation (just about anywhere in the US and the world) - I am sure that everyone has something in their life that they do not accept about one person or another - a personality trait, clothing choice, friends. When we as a race are able to do this - accept everything about everyone, we will have evolved into a species that will have lost it's edge in the chain of evolution. I know that I will get ridiculed for that, but it is true - that is how evolution works, if you are not the highman on the totum pole, you are lost and overrun.

What I can suggest is that when you have attained personal acceptance, this is what matters. If you have confidence in yourself, it will exude from you and people will not want to say anything. People, ones that you do not associate with, do not matter. You can take what they say to heart, but you have to remember, they do not know who you are or what you are about, and are prejuding you based on an inanimate object. Ignorance is there problem, and it can be quite amusing to laugh out (especially when you have a fast quip for them when they say something and their mouth drop. I say this as I live with a high heeled man.)

  3. Hoverfly and myself were at the Burlington Mall, in Burlington Massachussettes and there was a gent walking through the mall in a pair of white stiletto pumps. You would notice them where his pants were covering the heel, but there is that sound that you recognize, so we took a peak. It was a guy in his late 20's to early thirties, about 5'6" (without heels) with blonde hair, that worked at the mall (he had a name tag around his neck) talking on his cell phone as he walked through the mall. Just wanted to share what we had seen.

  4. I hope that I have placed this in the correct spot per what Foxfire wrote.

I have not been around lately where it has been the same old same old on the board. Then tonight Hoverfly was typing something and I was reading over his shoulder and read the quote:

Most of you guys make me laugh.........you parade around in womens shoes and other attire, then you come here and justify your actions amongst yourselves so that you don't feel too weird or guilty, then you ask us girls if you like guys wearing heels and stuff!! Well the answer is NO - we like men to be men and any woman that tells you otherwise is a CD/TV/TS or one of you sad men masquerading as a woman

I am here in defense of the women that do like or LOVE their men in heels. Now I am not a transexual, or a transvestite as you accuse in the statement. (I have been accused of that before here on the forum because of my nick). I am a true XX chromosomed female with the natural parts top and bottom. If you are going to answer a question, you need to answer for yourself, not me or anyone else. I love my Hoverfly in a pair of 6" thigh high boots It is these exact type of statements, ones where you assume (now remember what that word does....makes an ASS out of U and ME) you know what other women want or need that drives this real women away. The type that you want to have conversations here on the forum.

If people come here and discuss what they do and it makes them feel better about the so be it. It is a lot cheaper then therapy.

Well I have come and stated my piece in defense of myself!

    Have a good one!

  5. All the talk of invading, well im not so sure. We dont all come to post here with bad intentions, and i wouldnt complain if lots of females were giving opinions on the guys topics.

    Daz

    Daz:

There would be more women posting in the mens section if we (women on the board) were no in the minority.

  6. All I have to say is that if you do not want the government interferring in your life, do you have a ss#, ein# or even a credit card???? Do you feel that we should not have to pay taxes in the US?? The government has already interferred in your life. For those that feel that companies should have the right to treat the employees how they want, that is when the employees unionize and then the company has to give into their employees anyway. Why do you think we have all of the unions, anyone remember the work laws of the 20's/30's? For the women at the casino, if they knew going into the job that heels were required, then shame on them, if they were hired and then it was forced on them then, shame on the company. If these outfits are supplied by the company then they are equipment of the corporation. Any bodily injury incurred by that equipment is the responcability of the company to pay for. If the corporation is requiring the shoes to go with the outfit, then they are again a part of the uniform and any injury is the responcability of the company to pay for. It is the same as someone who does data entry and gets carpal tunnel syndrome, the company has to take care of medical bills. That is my opinion

  7. Hello Texas Bumpkin!

You have a very colourful user-name, full of character, but in my humble opinion not very flattering for a girl! In fact, when I first joined the Forums during the first half of 2004, I thought all "Bumpkins" were boys, you know, sort of beefy red-faced farm-boys brandishing pitchforks, so naturally I thought you were one of those. Therefore, it was a most welcome and pleasant surprise when I read various of your postings, and it began dawning on me more and more that you are a girl! And most interesting and entertaining postings if I might say so - well done and keep it up! Nevertheless, maybe something like "Texas Countrygirl" would have flattered you more(?).

    Cheerfully yours, Bumpkinfan alias Heelfan

Well thankyou bumpkinfan. I will admit that I have lived on a farm and brandished a pitchfork, and if I am in the sun too much I get very red-faced (fairskinned, what can I say) and I usually have a farmers tan. But what can I do.

  8. Texasbumpkin:-)

I really like your pic #6---the red patent courts. I was not aware that they were available with a chunky heel. Might I ask where you got them and how high the heel is?

    Dawn HH

Dawn sorry for not answering you. I had surgery in Dec and have just gotten back to doing stuff on the web. But thanks to hoverfly for answering the question.

  9. You want to hear something funny. My boyfriend came over to work to have dinner with me (I work second shift). When we came off of the elevator, one of the respritory therapists asked me, "Is that a guy or a girl. " I stated, "That is my boyfriend." She said, "Is he european or something, he is wearing high heels." I stated, "sure" and walked back to the ER. Did she not feel stupid when I sayed he was my boyfriend.

  10. One thing that I would like to add to this topic. I used to have a DD chest naturally, and there is one thing that no one has pointed out. Gothikaheels stated that he likes to go to the gym. Trust me, when lifting at the gym wether it be free weights or equipment, they get in the way. The equipment is not made for large chests, and if have to bring your arms together in front of you, all I have to say is watch out for pinching on some of the machines. Gothikaheels, this is just one thing to think about where you stated that you like to lift weights.

  11. Firefox, I think you missed the point. These kids realize what it is like to be locked in a cell for 10 minutes, and when they are in for 10 months you are in the cell for 12-18 hours a day. The realization of that, and talking to the other prisoners scare them straight, hence the name of the program. Yes, I know that you are going to say that it does not work for everyone, but it works for some of them, and some is better then none. I would rather have 20 kids go through the program and have 1 come out and change his/her ways. That is one lesS person in the jails, one less person that our tax money has to pay to house, feed, and pay. Yes pay. If they are working in the jail, you have to pay them for their time that they work. They may only get paid a few dollars a day, but it adds up over time.
