Anne-Louise, could you find a pic of your ideal heel shape? it would help my woodcarver.
-
I do indeed. I currently have some prototypes for oxfords that are brogues, ie all those fancy ornaments on the leather. For a male version see here: http://www.eshopone.com/smx/mens-shoes/oxford-brogue-dip/
I am rather chuffed with them :-)
-
well, thankfully my girlfriend is also my sub, so she is going to wear one eventually
-
Anne-Louise, I had already marked you vote for that

ya know, I never was a big fan of "shoeplay". I prefer the shoes to be worn or the lady to curl up on the couch with the shoes kicked off. "Shoeplay" never did anything for me.

Hi all
with a bit of luck I will be getting to work on heels with a modeller some time this week.
Now, so far I am thinking 3 shapes
- basic stiletto, rather thin.
- slender Louis Heel, like in the 50s
- wide louis heel as in http://www.fetis.ch/en/shoes/mules7.htm - now which one would people prefer? the shape as in xx25 or as in P512N? I am leaning towards XX25 myself.
Also we got some new prototypes from the designers: Dorset Pumps and Brogues :-)
cheers

I envy you the choice of shoes - what size are you?
-
so if we made a last that suits those oxfords and made pumps and stuff on it you might be interested? One other idea is also to cover the heels with the same piece of leather the shoe is made off seamlessly! ie pullt it down. what do people think? BTW since trolldeg posted a fait amount and there are some other ones as well - maybe you could point out the ones you like? or post the URLs? thanks Arpad

Hello Anne_Louise thank you very much for you long post, it was very enlightening! So far we have been looking at making shoes with a bit more of a baby-doll toe but that doesn't ssem to be the common interest. We have one unfinished prototype with a moderately pointy toe - dorset pump with crisscross strap. Soles will be natural colour - I feel quite strongly about that myself! can you please explain what so repulses you about the patent oxfords I posted - I rather like them! I hope we will be able to make lasts with interchangeable toes so that we can offer different degrees of pointiness. Same with the heels - we are still working on those. The pictures are mostly from "Bizarre". I do admit that I actually quite like the slightly thicker heels - I really love a very slender "louis heel". Again, your input got us thinking here. We are looking at doing 4 basic shoes so far. - Dorset pump - court shoe - oxford - ankle boot all of these with different accessories (as fits the style of course): - thin detachable ankle straps - wide non-detachable ankle straps (nothing is more hideous than a 2" strap that's running through a loop -- with 1 buckle -- with 2 buckles -- locking - Mary Jane strap (narrow and wide) - platforms - eventually different heel shapes (once we find an artist to make us the different shapes). cheers Bernhard

everybody does 5" - I like the niche ...
-
we're currently working on the 2nd set of lasts and hope to come up with some prototypes soon after that. Initial heels heights will be 7 in though - we'll move down from there.
-
Yes, thats true. The heel height has to follow the shoe length! The majority of producers pay attention to this rule. But this is sometimes probematical. I have just won a ebay auction for 16 cm sandalettes (~6''). I received them in US 13/14 (EU 45) nearly 19 cm high (~7.5''). I can't wear these shoes. Simply a bad buy!
Wow! somebody actually deos that? I am impressed! Would you sell these?
cheers

While I really like them, all of my (kinky!) female friends - including the g/f - I have talked with about this really disliked them. This a general trend? cheers Bernhard
-
the thickness of the leather is a major factor - men's shoes classicly are boxcalf leather, ladies' shoes are much finer
-
I like louis heels, especially the chunky ones together with round toed shoes.
-
actually DVT can happen if you consistently wear heels so high that you cannot stretch your knees.
-
keep posting then - it is about 'ranks' in the forum, ie about how many post you have made
-
I disagree. one could move this thread. but this forum is about Ultraheels, which clearly _are_ a fetish thing. Bernhard
-
how would you compare them?
-
is devious the same as qualifetish? they sure look the same...
-
-
I notice and why are the more ridiculous than any other fetish shoe? and why would millions be wearing them if they were remotely feasible? stop being ridiculous. of course these are fetish shoes, so they aren't walking boot. I thought we were in the fetish forum here? and before you answer, maybe thik for a minute or three and try to articulate _why_ they piss you off so much? Throwing a gut feeling out and making sweeping statements is not really a good basis for discussion...
-
I disagree - they are quite feasible. the main comfort factor in shoes is shape not padding.

with a lot of luck April, elsewise May
Mildly commercial IV - Prototypes!
