well, I'm just across the Irish Sea in Dublin

the difference is the ornamental holes in the leather - Punzierung fuer den Deutschen and dict.leo.org is sadly not all that reliable.

from what my models tell me it seems to work quite well. The ball actually is on the ground - otherwise these would be 7"ers. They do pinch the toe together a bit though.
