I think the particular companies dress code needs revising. Perhaps 'dress shoes' should be stated rather than 'high heels' in the dress code. For some even 2" heels can be uncomfortable, and up to 4" could be awkward. Then factor that into a full working day. Each individual has their own comfort factor and that really has to be considered when forming dress codes. I've worked for very large companies in the past, and all have stipulated 'dress shoes' for both men and women. The ladies have all worn a variety of shoes from flats to 5" heels, depending on their own preferences, all within what anyone would define as 'dress' footwear.
My question is, what was the company trying to acheive by enforcing heel heights??

Mine was witnessing a volcanic erruption, just happened to be travelling along a country road at the time, and pulled over to take a photo of the mountain as it was a great view. As i started taking pictures, this happenned ..
I think i still have the photos somehwere, have moved about 6 times since then.

I was given a gift card for one about a year ago. All I can say is it was excellent. Lovely lady did the pedicure, even offered to add polish at end. Your feel will feel fantastic afterwards, relax and enjoy!

Finally found a pair of 120mm pumps at a significant discount at a Saks Off Fifth. I'd been considering Louboutins but could not get over the $700 price tag. These are Jimmy Choo Anouks in Acid Yellow. The color looks better in person, and I suspect by the time I am conditioned enough to wear these in public I will be able to sort out an outfit that works. The size is 40.5, and the toe area is snug, but I suspect the leather will fit my feet perfectly soon
Fantastic style

I stumbled across this somehow and thought others may find it interesting, or fun..

Youre not alone timmy, we share the same size feet
On the plus side, its very easy to find heels in our size :)

I have odd size feet for a male, mine are 24cm and find wearing a womens uk size 5 heel a perfect fit. I would say the arch on all my heels range between 4-5 inches (a 6 inch platform, for me, would have a 1-1.5" base etc..). Unfortunately mens sizes dont go down to uk 5 so i have to settle for a 6 in uk mens shoes. I think a 5.5 would fit better for me in mens shoes. When it comes to shoes in general, trying before buying is really the only way to go

Just got these AV heels. It was a tough color to find so I had to have it, then made my boyfriend take pictures
fabulous heels !

I always enjoy wearing skirts and dresses, with stockings ofcourse. With heels, and the entire ensemble it feels more complete, and very comfortable.
