  1. I been thinking for ages about trying some 7in heels. I would love to try an outing out to see if I could manage them.

I have been slowly building up in height and now comfortably can wear 5in heels all day (and actually don't feel properly dressed unless I am in 5in+) . I have worn my 6in out a couple of times with my trouser suits and occasionaly a tight knee lenght pencil skirt.

I wonder if anyone can go around in the street in 7 inch heels (sie 12) without thinking about what you are wearing all the time - meaning being as comfy as not to notice your shoes

  2. Does anyone like boots that you can see through? I know - the material is not that comfy - but the look is fun, isn't it? It's more revealing than usual shoes, but is basically still a boot

  3. Anything more than 2" plat can be quite unstable. It's broken ankle territory, but it does depend on the make of the shoe and how flared the plat is.

If contact with he ground decreases, it's less safer... but some people really say that walking in high platforms is easier than lower or platforms... I like the way platforms look, but wear is not that great

  4. As far as I know most of the guys in this board like to wear boots or shoes that cover the whole foot. I wonder are there any who like to show their feet to public and wear really open shoes?

    E.g.:

Probably this need taking good care of your feet and toenails...

  5. padocks wouls surely get you some comment, straps would be a very sofisticated pair of shoes. But I would go for the padocks as noone would dare to make a comment

Well said, GJ! If you're really pushing it other people get off you back and just observe

    The higher the better?

  6. strangely, I've found it easier to walk in my 5,1" stiletto boots when I'm a bit drunk.

Trolleg, please tell us more about walking in stilettos when drunk! I haven't tried that. Maybe the alcohol makes you "lighter" and the feet don't realize the load they're under... so perhaps a suggestion for beginners - drink before you walk :drinking:

  7. I mean completely straight, but...

Sometimes, wearing heels makes me feel a bit girly and a bit naughty. ... I can start to feel a bit flirtatious and maybe point my pointy toe in his direction, hee hee.

I guess this is just another part of the fun of wearing high heels!

Sure it is - why not. That's the good part - nobody can tell you where the limitations for wearing heels are. Your can feel whatever you want to and experience anything. Once you dare wear heels outside, it is alright to be naughty

  8. Then it was my turn to ask a question, namely: "Do you think differently of me because I choose to wear women's shoes?" He had to think on that for several moments, then said not really, but I could tell he was somewhat nonplussed by it all.

People who are "uneducated" in sense that they aren't aware of human fetishes or desires tend to think that inly they are normal people and the ones who have some kind of deviation are weirdos...

Consider women - noone would think of them strangely if they pick up any new style - to be hairy, wear mustache or have really short hair.

But with us men - we are supposed to be rather conservative of our appearence - right? Men are supposed to be just good-looking, and that's it! And that the only accessories men may wear are wedding-rings and a tiepin?

  9. Ladies, do you ever wear pumps with large ankle-straps at work? Maybe even padlocks?

I know they have kind of a fetish-look, but should feel about the same as ordinary pumps.

They look like ordinary pumps with a larger strap. But really there is a lock and maybe you forgot the key home:)

  10. The same fashion was/is partly in Estonia, too. It seems that these are worn by women who want to look sexy and stylish, but are not fond of high heels. They don't realise, that the heel hight is the major part of a stylish shoe  These shoes are usually really narrow in the front, usually are slingbacks or mules. So, I agree that it is a waste of good shoe material!
