Hmmm...Dagenham Market you say? If I were a little closer to London I'd defintiely pick some of them up. I thought the quality looked OK, but given that you can pick up a well made pair of leather shoes from Leatherworks for less than this it does seem expensive. I do like the look of those Tribute copies though. Spiker.

I've found a UK based seller selling copies of designer shoes on eBay. He doesn't claim them to be real, but they're still kind of pricey. Has anyone bought from this shop before?

I think I know what Tech, Dr Shoe et al will think, but some of us just aren't in the market for the genuine article!

Not sure if anyone caught Jennifer Garner on the Jay Leno show this week. She looked spectacular. She had on the most beautiful pair of heels. They were gold in colour and they appeared to have a hidden platform. The heel itself look to be at least 5 inches if not more. The following is a youtube link to see them. The best views start about 1 minute in. And you can see them from the side almost the entire time. And check out the view starting at 2:20 for about 15 seconds. Alsheels, Yes, I got them in black - plucked up the courage to buy them in store (didn't try them on though). They're very easy to walk in - all my other heels have over 5" rise, so sometimes it's nice to put them on and feel how easy it is to walk! I want to go back and get the pink now - after all it's only £25! Spiker.

Not heels as such, but a few weeks ago I was out in Ireland for work (Liffey Valley) and there was a guy walking around the hotel in a skirt. Saw him first of all in the day wearing a long ankle length denim skirt (with trainers - ugh!) and then later in the day wearing a long pleated skirt, yellow blouse and some flat slingbacks (I wasn't a fan of these either). I didn't like the overall look very much, but it was good to see him out there doing his thing without a care in the world. He was with a lady as well, I'm assuming it was his partner, but I could be wrong. It was interesting to see my colleagues' reactions, there was one point where someone said something a little derogatory and I was able to defend him by saying "leave him alone, he's happy", and they did. Bubba, She's actually about a 1 1/2 and can sometimes get away with a 2. I guess it equates to about a 3 US (most conversion charts don't go down that far). Barratts does a special small size range which goes down to a 1, but yes we do have huge difficulty buying shoes for her (I've posted on here about it a couple of times). Such a shame, because otherwise I'd buy her so many shoes! Spiker.

I have a simliar one...we were having our windows replaced this January (not a good time to have your windows done BTW). Knowing that there were going to be workmen in every room of the house I tidied all my shoes away into closets nice and safe...or so I thought. I'd left a pair under our bed, and when I came back they'd had to move it and there were my shoes (black 5.5 inch Oxfords) sat right there on the bed! Nobody said a word, hopefully they thought they were my fiancees, however if they knew she was a size 1 and I'm a size 7 it would have been fairiy obvious! Spiker.

BeigeBoots, I guess it depends on where you intend to wear them, and how much you are willing to get noticed. If you wear them out, either pair will get you noticed but the red pair will shout "look at me!". I love red shoes, but I find red boots can look a little fetishy - which isn't my look. I bought some red patent ankle boots, and have almost never worn them. I guess, in summary I'd personally go for the white...but the choice is yours. Spiker.

Firstly, OLG welcome!!! I hope you'll enjoy it here in the company of like minded people! I personally find my Pleaser shoes very comfortable indeed, my favorites to look at are my Hotties from the highest heel (Louboutin clones). These are about 5 1/4 inches, and you know you're in heels. The Pleasers I have are about 5 1/2 inches, and are so comfortable they feel much lower than the Hotties. The only thing I would say is that I find the toe box quite small, and I find it more comfortable if I put some moisturiser on my feet before I put them on. That way my feet slide into place better. Hello, 2 pictures of my wife´s high heel pumps collection.

This shoe rack is hanging on our bedroom door and it contains 30 pair of stiletto heel pumps. The highest heel height is 11 cm .
