  1. Those are nice boots !

I like that purple suede (Never saw this color on suede before...)

May I ask you with what you intend to wear them ?

    Inside or outside ?

    Thanks Daniel.

I think these are a little too attention grabbing for me to wear outside just now. I have been wearing my heels outside very occasionally building my confidence at my usual inexorably slow pace! I was thinking they'd look good with blue skinny jeans.

hi spiker, they are nice 'looking' boots,i bought a pair as well but although they seemed to be ok when i tried them in the shop they are not that comfortable after a while, which is really disappointing for such a nice looking pair of boots, think mine need a new home!

I'll bear that in mind Bladerunner, I'm pretty lucky to have quite small feet, most of my Office shoes fit fairly well. I'm impressed that you tried them on in the store though, may I ask which one?

  2. Cinnamon, Good to have you back. I'll echo what the others have said: Don't let one idiot taint your view of this site. Most men on here are not like that, and are indeed worthy of the title 'gentleman'. Hope you keep posting. It's great that we have so many active female posters on here at the moment. It's a testament to the way the mods run this site. Spiker.

  3. There are a couple of ladies in my office that always wear nice heels. One in particular has been known to come in wearing 6" Gianmarco Lorenzi platform sandals. I didn't get much work done that day. Spiker.

  4. Except that if you zoom in really closely and rotate the picture 90 degrees, you can see his full name and address on the folder on the shelf....and what's that...his mum's phone number too? :) imroter...only kidding, you're fine and the shoes look great...well done! Spiker.

  5. OK, so I'm staying in New York for a few days, and as always I brought some heels with me. I had wanted to wear them out at night, but with my fiancée even more self conscious about drawing attention than I am, I don't think that was ever going to happen. My conclusion is that I have to be comfortable myself, before going out with my other half. So our hotel has a communal living area that you can go and help yourself to coffee any time. It's become our routine that I'll go and get the coffee in the mornings while my better half takes a shower. I decided it would be good to try this in heels, the entire hotel is luxuriously carpeted (even the lifts) so there'll be no noise which makes it a bit easier. The first day I bottled it, and went back to room to change. The second day however, I did manage it. I wore straight leg jeans that hid most of the shoes, but the fact that there was hardly any toe showing from under the jeans also draws attention I think. I had to share a lift (elevator) with a couple, and I'm pretty sure the guy noticed. I had to get off first, so I was very aware that he'd be watching me walk away. I was shaking like a leaf - so much so that it was hard to pour the coffee! I managed it again the next day, and still the shakes continued, this time I don't think anyone noticed but I was still shaking just as bad. Spiker.

  6. Thanks for the post(s) Corsair. To be honest, from the pictures, that looks more like a skirt than a kilt to me (not that I'm claiming to be any kind of expert). Bottom line, if you want to go out wearing a skirt, I'd say you've already done it - congratulations! Spiker.

  7. I have no problems with guys wearing heels - especially if they also pay attention to the other details as well - and wear them with complimentary clothing like a really smart pair of jeans or trousers.

If I did see a guy wearing a particularly nice pair of heels I would definitely compliment him on them and ask him where he found them - I'd probably chat with him little too, about how HE found wearing heels as a man.

Unfortunately in the UK, we don't see it publicly too often, as 'general ignorance' seems to be the default intelligence setting for a large percentage of the population - especially younger people sad to say - and so a guy wearing heels is more likely to be the object of strange looks or even verbal abuse rather than compliments.

It makes my blood boil to be honest. We live in a free World (supposedly) and folks are free to express themselves as they wish.

    (PS - 'shoegirl' - your Blog's great!)

Actually, re-reading this, it's a tie between Ami and pussyinboots...thanks girls you're both AWESOME!!!

  8. I have seen 1 guy wearing heels in public, and I went over and congratulated him on his bravery. He was a bit took aback by the fact I was confronting him, as he'd been getting laughed by men and women alike. He may be trying to start something new.

Ami...you are without a doubt the coolest girl in the world!!!

I wish everyone could be like you...even my own fiancée could do with being a little more open minded (she tries her best...bless her!).

    Thanks.

  9. OK I told myself I wasn't going to buy any shoes this pay month, and I haven't...but I did buy a pair of these. I just couldn't resist and they're selling out by the looks of things.

My question is...can you get out of a promise you made to yourself on a technicality...or is that like cheating at Solitaire?

I can't wait for the boots to arrive though.

  10. Leigh, Sorry to hear about your car troubles, but it sounds like you enjoyed the walk. I just can't help thinking how many of the guys on this forum would have loved to stop and help you out if they'd been in the right place at the right time! They're a gorgeous pair of shoes by the way, why don't you tell us about them? Spiker.

  11. Her videos and photos are all wonderful, but I wonder how she appreciates someone grabbing screen shots from her videos intended for members only and re-hosting them, then posting to public forum? At least the website watermark is still intact.

    devab,

I'm sure she's fine with it, it's free advertising. Now posting the whole video, that would be a different matter.

  12. Hi Spiker,

...I completely agree that the eBay listings are lacking in content. I am updating them all by the end of the week, so please let me know what you think and any other information I should include.

    Dave

    Dave,

First of all, I'd say include detailed information on the materials used, and where it's leather and where it's man made. Then talk about the construction, particularly if they're not coming from China or Brazil, then you've got a real unique selling point here over most sellers on eBay. Then take some nice high quality pics of each colour with a nice quality background (include the box if it's good quality), something like this. If you can get some attractive female to model the shoes for you then all the better....maybe bribe her with a free pair or two. Put it all together in a high quality web site or eBay listing.
