well very difficult for me to vote at this stage!! all depends on mood and how am feeling when I look in the cupboard!! depends on the occasio!! maybe one day will make up my mind and vote!!

maybe a sign of the way the world is moving, even though at a very slow pace!!! great story!!

to some of us the higher the heel the better!! me included!! different strokes for different folks!!!

depending on when in November sounds like a great idea!! how far is the walk??? wonder witch heels I will wear??? @Thighboots2 yep there is more to the trip, however the heeling part for me was all I shared, at the one shopping Mall we went to there was a power failure (sadly common this side), we actually went to three small malls!! skipped out all that, other wise the post might of gotten too long and maybe even boring!!

Did you do the Wimpy Womansday thing. (where the men get free coffee if they wear heels) We went out for coffee to Wimpy on Monday and it was a blast.

I enjoyed the outing so much. I can not wait for the next one.

well as mentioned on another thread last week Fri, was the 1st time out the house in Heels!! Fri night drove home in 4'' clogs with 1/2'' platform, when I got home, opened the gate, and drove in, noticed that the space between steering wheel and legs becomes an issue when wearing heels!! then last night when we got home, the wife needed to go to the local shopping center!! and was keen on trying driving in 5'' heels, have always dreamed of doing so for a long time, after following the thread driving in 5'' heels, thought need to try that soon!! any case we went to the local shopping center about a 7km round trip, we went to the auto teller, and for the 1st time walked in heels out the house, besides for Fri night short walk to open the gate!! well walked from the car to the auto teller, and back!! there was no one around!! it was actually easy, as I have walked many times(daily) with heels at home!! the only difference was that I still had normal socks on, did not bother to change the socks(wish I had) for the more comfortable hose, witch I will next time!! one of the most difficult things was getting out and back into the car, as with the reduced space between legs and steering wheel becomes an issue, a new technique will need to be worked out!! soon!! think I already have it figured out, will see next time!! was still wearing my works pants that covered most of the heels, although short outing, look forward to longer public outing in heels!! thanx for a the support and inspiration from here!!

well that soon happened last night!! we needed to go somewhere last night, and so though, tonight is the night!! well, was expecting it to be more difficult then what it was with the 4'' clogs, and well to my surprise, it was actually easier, go figure!! any case enjoyed it!! as time goes on, will be doing more of driving with 5'' stiletto heels!! thanx to all the inspiration on here!!

well drove Friday night in 4" clogs, with 1/2'' platform for the 1st time, and need to admit, not easy, however at the end of the 26km trip, was doing ok, and even got out and opened the gate, actually 1st time out the house in heels!! still plan on trying the 5'' heels soon, will post on that as soon as it happens!!

agree, a size 8, is not always a size 8, even thought the label says it is!! sometimes its more like a nine, have such a pair, and sometimes closer to a 7, dont have any of those!! hence my apprehension of ordering over the net, and have had my eye on a specific pleaser shoe (maybe a bit more the just one pair) sadly no proper industry standard, even if they say there is!! or maybe poor quality control!!

well, need to repeat what has already been said, great advice, ALL the way!!

however self have 2c to add!! remember this is from my point of view and might not work for any one else!!

1st!! loneliness is not nice, however being alone for a while coming out of such a long term relationship might in itself be therapy and help to clear the mind, and allow for clearer thoughts!!

when meeting someone new, dont allow your emotions to get the better of you, take it easy either wise it leaves one vulnerable, till one gets a chance to see what type of person we are about to entrust with the control of our emotions!!

have also found that most woman accept, however sometimes tacking small steps might be better then shocking the ladys with HH from and early stage!!

this is just from my point of view, and might or might not work for someone else!!

Show them the High Heel Forum and just maybe that will help the ladies to see that you are not alone wearing heels. We can only hope for the best on that subject.

Pleased to see that Iam not alone in driving around Joburg in Heels , I travel alot out of town and wear Heels all the time on long trips only differance with the cold weather is I wear stockings as well.

family does not know!! and have no plans of telling them, however am feeling more and more like dont care who knows and who dosent know and who says what, this is me, and if someone does not like it, then its their loss!! so far only the wife knows!!

only you will know if its worth it in the end maybe way up, if you can afford it, if yes, and if you really want them, then go for it!! if I could I would go for it, they look amazing!!! in the end you will need to decide!! self love wedges, however very few of them here, and nothing close to those!! off the top of my head ''go for it'' just be sure to post some more pics when you get them!!

here is the reality, that I have come to realize!! not every one looks at heels the way we on here do!! and if they do, they(male or female) wont say anything due to the issues that we are all too familiar with!! if its a man that also wears heels, then safe, he wont say much or wil compliment!! if its a man that does not wear heels, then he does not think the way we do, and wont think much of it!! have come to the above conclusion form what I have learned on here!! thanx!! shoes in car could be any thing, wife's, sister's, friend's ....................!! as for pics downloaded from someones personal cell phone, could be a bit more difficult to explain!! or justify!! however, most people wont even ask!! after all we are what we are, even though many times difficult to explain to others and even our selfs!! just my 2c:smile:
