I'm a new member and really glad to have found this forum. I love the chunky boots and shoes that have been shown on this page. I had styles very similar to these when platforms were popular in the 70's. The only difference between then and now is that guys wore them as much as girls back then!

That's the style I also wore. I had some nice wedge shoes way back when. One lady told me shw just loved my shoes. Her's were pumps and I was far too shy to proclaim my love (of hem not her).

I thought that was only in a TV commercial. BTW, I think the heels were glued to their feet. (IMHO).

The third encounter happened 6 month later but the similarities are amazing.

this time it was a group of young girls (5 or 6), but again, only one did the talking, all the rest were in comma staring at my boots, this time they were black ankle boots with 4" stiletto heel. (3" were showing under my jeans).

GIRL1: (to her friends) hey he's wearing highheels (like i couldn't hear her).

GIRL1: excuse me ? , a a a sir?

Me: [turning around]

GIRL1:are you a boy or a girl ? (i had men's clothes- go figure)

ME:A MAN !

GIRL1:do you want to be a girl?

ME:Not at the moment (with a wide smile).

GIRL1:but youare wearing girls shoes !

ME:[loosing my patience] THEY ARE MEN SHOES ALSO!

GIRL1:and do you like wearing them?

ME:Very much!

GIRL1:[again]and you don't want to be a girl?

ME:NO

GIRL1:and you love wearing them?

ME:[realy close to kick her butt with my heels]YES !

GIRL1:OK.

That was really funny! So many people just go into brain lock at the sight of anything unusual. Kind of like driving down the road and slowing to watch a cop give someone a ticket.

I'm past the kittens but this forum isn't the only one I post on. Something has to give so heely posts are the ones. I also have to post when the wife is not around. She's not too keen on my heeling, know what I mean?

I've been wearng them every day. No one at work has acted any differently towards me.

She was on the show 'A Capital Fourth' on PBS her in the Nations Capital, Washngton D.C., and she came on stage and introduced her breasts as her two friends, Shock and Awe. She also had on some really high and pretty platform heels. She's a great performer and her singing was fantastic.

Those are so stealthy. Women have a thing about men being 'not women'.

I recently picked these up. I then bought another pair. Many times, I'll buy a pair and they are so nice that when I go to get another pair, hey are no longer available.

This isn't the only forum in which I post. I also read a lot of posts here but don't reply.

I know for a fact that I can walk as well in heels as most women, and better than some. I still look like a big hairy guy in the process though! Even without the beard and tattoos, the only way I'd pass is if I claimed to be an East German shot putter.

Jeff, I wear Leggs tights for exactly the same reason. I wore them last winter when it was really cold and I was toasty warm.

Just wear them confidently. No one will care. Draw attention to yourself and people will stare.

Wives notice everything, ask me how I know. If your's a little taller one day that the other, they notice. Your wife just puts up with it. Be sensitive to her needs and don't get too outlandist. Keep it subtle.

The elastic at the top is supposed to keep them up. What are your calf muscles like, large or small? Perhaps your lower leg is too long for them.
