The Jazzmasters 4 Track 8, Emerald Stardust, has just blown me away! Absolutley fantastic. Whew!!!

Welcome, and you're among normal people who like heels.
-
I was waiting in the Dentist's office yesterday and a well dressed woman came in in some really nice 3 1/2" black patent heels. Of course I was trying not to look, . She took care of the paperwork and sat a few chairs down. I really couldn't see the heels too well, but she quickly moved opposite me. I was reading the paper and was able to get a few good looks in. Maybe she was trying to check out my 9-west 2" loafers, with black hose.

I have run out of salt.
So there.
My great truth is this - most people are stupid. It has never been proven wrong since I added the "most" to that saying.
Well, now that you mention it, 50% of all people have an IQ less than 100.

I was watching the movie Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, from the mid 60's, and it had Barbara Eden in it as well as some other actress, in the most fabulous stils ever. Lots of heel shots and loveley legs too. Crappy plot, great shoes. What can you expect from Irwin Allen, the master of disaster? This may have been posted before, I did a search.

Keep at it. Practice makes perfect. Keep those two fine women handy for more outings.

This is very familiar. My wife does not like my heel wearing and doesn't like them herself. I'm talking the 2 1/2" variety. Really high are out of the question. She's a US 8 1/2 W (wide).

Kittens Eh! Better start posting a lot more!
-
Maybe she's just posing, an action shot, something to create more than just "I am standing here, oh yay exciting".
I know, just kidding. (They do look very hard to walk in though)
-
I don't think she can actually walk in those heels. That's why she's holding onto the railing!
-
I used to hear high heel MIA clogs. I got a few giggles from teenage girls, who else, but some positive comments from women. I also wanted the extra height. Does MIA make clogs anymore?

maybe I can't.....I don't know anymore......
Ooooops sorry, it just slipped out...

Warren, I knew the quote, but I try to avoid cliches as much as possible.
Being different is the key to having fun when writing.
I'm just catching up on the postings. I thought you might have forgotten, or something.
BTW, I think your avatar looks great. Good luck with the job hunt.

OK, here's another I was working at the Library of Congress doing some computer work. My project manager, with whom I went to High School with, came in one day wearing a red dress and killer red pumps with about 4" heels. My tougue hit the floor and I couldn't keep my eyes off them. My co-worker had to admonish me. I still think about those shoes.

It was sometime in 1993 or 1994 in the Crystal City Virginia underground shopping area. This is just outside of Washington D.C. I was walking from the subway system to the commuter train. I went around a corner and lo and behold there was a beautiful woman walking in front of me. She had blue jeans on and a nice blue sweater, and absolutley fantastic 4" high heel thigh high red boots, with a frilly leather top. People walking the opposite way were transfixed by this woman, just as I was. I had a great view. The men were falling all over themselves looking at this woman and her boots. She was having a great tiem with all the attention. Whew!

There's some old quote about begging and not choosing.
It's 'Beggars can't be choosers'.
I hope this helps.

You'll find a job. I got laid off from the worlds largest computer company and I found another. It took about 2 months and another for the security papers. Looking for a job is a job. Keep at it. Regards

My next door neighbour was wearing these new brown slings tonight (she bought them today at Shelley's in London for £25 - CHEAP!!!!!!). Thought I would share them with you all....
Nice slingbacks. I would love a pair like those.
-
Nice shoes! You should have gone out in them at first. The demons are in our heads.
-
I have trouble wearing those type of boots. I can find my size but my calfs are quite large so I can't get them either zipped up or up all the way.
-
I don't know if I answered this or not, but I wear a womens 10B. I'm lucky.
-
I'd buy them but my calfs are really large and they wouldn't fit otherwise.
-
Welcome to the forum. Lots of interesting reading here. It's a great support group.

Hi WarrenB
When your going to build a ship like that do you try to get the blubrints then or just on freehand?I am a member of "club maritim".It´s for sailors capten´s and people like me hobbybuilders.I buy blueprints from Swedish warfsI can only get prints from Swed. ships. But if you want blueprints try any warf nearby your home. They will surley let you buy a copy.I payed 16 Euro for orginal blueprints to 2 ships with every measure and placement there is( No eletrical or hydraulic)But who needs that. Then you can build the ships in whatever scale you want.

I was able to get some plans from a guy in Rochester New York. He had several ship plans and couldn't do the models. So I was able to get the Canadian Century plans. The plan scale is 1 foot = 1/8" which works out to 1:96. I am also a model railroader in HO scale which is 1:87. So the size is similar and I'll use the model on my layout.
