Ellie 16.5cm heels

For me, it would be several pairs of Christian Louboutin Alti 160s. A pair in black patent leather, nude, white and a couple of other colours. I have a pair of black spike, and they are my favourite 'bad girl' shoes.

I think my maximum height is a pair of 8 inch Pleaser thigh boots, sooo comfy though not all that practical :-/

How long did that take you? My DH loves to see me in heels, so I wear them as much as practical, and I enjoy wearing them.

As a newcomer to wearing heels, I'm a bit confused as to how exactly a person finds themselves 'stuck' wearing heels. On a normal week I wear heels almost all day, with the exception of the gym and sometimes the evening. I make sure I do stretches so that my calves and Achilles' tendons don't shrink.

Thank heaven for the PVR. I despise commercials and will not watch live TV anymore because I won't be held hostage for 20 minutes per hour.

I'm a fan of Spartacus also. I like Dancing With The Stars, Vampire Diaries, Hart of Dixie, Star Trek, 90210 & Dallas. Once I get back from our honeymoon, I think it's going to take me weeks just to catch up with all of them.

But they don't even have a 4" arch to them. I'm curious what anyone would like them.

I think that goes for beaches anywhere.

I don't like rain in the best of circumstances, but trying to walk on grass after it has rained, is a recipe for disaster, for the shoes and the grass.

Maybe you need to ask what size the foot in addition to the maximum heel height. I would think someone with a size 5 foot being able to wear 6" heels is much harder than someone size 10 wearing 6" heels.

Life is too short not to be what you are. You can spend your life trying to fit into what someone or society feels you should, and you will be miserable your entire life. Who you are isn't harming anyone else, or interfering in their life at all. As soon as society doesn't embrace change, we all end up being exactly the same, and society will cease to move forward, and will die.

Humour is a great way to diffuse a bad situation. It's such a stupid thing to get offended by. If the guy is wearing jeans most of the shoe is covered anyway. What's a person going to do, start thinking every guy they walk by could be wearing lingerie under their suit? It may be a bit odd at first, but as soon as more guys do it, then it won't be an issue. When Christian Louboutin.starts making heels in size 44 & up, you'll know you have arrived. Or maybe he comes out with a "Guys in Heels" collection. Why should women be the only ones silly enough to pay $1000+ for a pair of his shoes?

DH stands for dearest husband. We are taking a rebreather (scuba diving) course this week, and honeymoon next week. Honeymoon is probably going to consist of more diving. I prefer my Interlopas to the Gazolinas. Interlopas have a higher heel. I don't think there's a Louboutin boutique within 1000 miles of here. Probably the closest one would be Las Vegas. DH has bought me several pair of Loubis since the New Year, so I'm happy.

I would have never guessed it, other than it sounded like something that would come out of the heavy metal era. Good first song!

They caught my attention as well. I couldn't decide if I liked the style or just found them odd. I asked another person and they didn't like them, so I didn't buy them, but came across them at a store with DH, so tried them on and I don't think I went more than 2 strides and out came the horse comment. I walked around a bit to get used to them, but DH wasn't changing his mind, so back into the box, and tried the next pair.

DH stands for Dearest Husband.

These are about the minimum DH likes me to wear! The arch is equivalent to a 4" heel, which is very comfortable for me.

Would these qualify? My Valentine's present from my DH.

It's nothing that youth, exercise and good genes won't cure. Every year a person has to work a bit harder, and watch what you eat more. Of course heels make legs look better.
