Wow, that's a stunning collection of clothes. Some are just a bit over the top for me, but some would look great with tall heels.
-
And there's me, who needs 6" heels just to come up to DH's chin! My Alti 160's are about my personal limit for arch, 120mm for daily wear.

Now that's thinking on your feet!

If you include all the different variations of Christian Louboutin's Daffodiles, I have 6 pairs of them. And I'm sure I'm not done yet.
-
And when have heels ever been practical?

I think it's great they're recycling toy pistols, but what about the poor horses that have lost their hooves?for gun and high heel lovers

I'll be wearing heels as long as I can, because DH likes me to wear them. I'm sure styles will change, and the heel heights will change with the latest fashion, maybe this will give me a reason to 'stock' up on more Louboutins now, just in case there's a shortage.

I think the Alti are about as much of a platform as I could care for. I mean.. I guess the others look ' ok ' or should be tolerated for the 1000$+ pricetags they carry.. but Im just not into platforms at all.
The Altis have a hidden platform also, which brings the platform to 40mm.
I understand your preference for no platforms, but without them, heels over 5" aren't practical for most people to wear on a daily basis.

I think a person can be sexy with or without stockings. It depends on the mood, and how they are dressed. The lady in these photos looks fine with stockings. Just adds to the mood of the photo.

They are my favourites also.Love - love - love the sandals in the second video!

I'll chime in on this one...
The eBay thing is something that constantly amazes me. I shop for some of my designer shoes on eBay. I love Louboutins but hate to pay full price (I have and it hurts for months). Poor lighting, out of focus pictures and no variety of angles and then ask me to pay $600? Nope...not gonna do it!
Also, it makes me nuts to see someone wear shoes that are too big and they are constantly walking out of them UGH! Nasty!!
As a budding photographer, I also am amazed by the bad photos people use. I'm always left wondering if they actually looked at the photos before they posted them.
I have read that some women will buy shoes that are not the proper size, simply because they have to have that model, and the their size was not available. Not something I would do, but hey to each their own.

For me, 5" or 120mm would be my limit for everyday wear. That's without a platform. I wear a size 38, so for me that's my limit.

I only have a few photos of me wearing heels. The first two are my black Daffodiles, and the other are my Biancas, which people at work gave me for a wedding present. DH loves to see me in heels, he's never mentioned about taking photos of me in them. The second photo has a funny story attached to it. I was trying to take a photo of them for someone and I was sitting on the couch trying to contort myself in a position to get a good angle when I lost my balance and fell on my back on the couch. Just then I realised with my feet in the air I had a good photo. DH leaves the heel wearing to me. Somebody has toe problems...

That's a bit too high for my feet.

Patsy Cline,
Heard a lot about CL boots and shoes and I can see the attraction but my "UHG" would something like these two different colors of the LP11607 AUST platform sandals which are made by LaPiazza near Dusseldorf, Germany. I love platform sandals with knotted vamps and very high heels. The two here have 25cm (10in) and 22.5cm(9in) heels respectively. They are about $550US given EU taxes and shipping costs ame to your specifications. If I were to go to a Halloween party with a fetish twist then I'd want to knock them dead with something like this. In the meantime, I still have some pretty darn nice boots, pumps, and wedges to enjoy. Thanks for starting your first thread! HappyinHeels
They look very nice, the arch on them must be at least 160mm. My Altis are 120mm arch and that's about the limit for me for daily wear.
They might make a good pair of 'bedroom' shoes though.

That's the problem with jeans and pants for women. Do you tailor them for flats or heels? I wear 140mm to 160mm heels so wearing jeans cut for those I am tripping over them in flats. I like my jeans to fall to the toe box, because I'm usually wearing heels with a 40mm to 60mm platform. Of course if you're wearing skinny jeans, photo #1 is the cut I like. I usually solve the jean issue by wearing dresses & skirts almost all the time with heels. Gotta show off your Loubis!

Oh my, maybe the government will mandate hard hats for people who wear heels!

I am a UK size 9/10, depends on the shoe really. have tio watch my head in those boots as I am 7 foot 1 in them
I think I more impressed! Would you be at the point of having to duck to get through doorways?
