What really disappointed me during the election was the lack of attention to the deadlock in Congress. Regardless of who gets elected, there's going to be grid lock unless one party wins control of both houses of Congress and the White House. We have seen this over the last two years where the Republican controlled Congress battled the Democratic controlled Senate, and nothing got done. There was virtually no compromise on any issue. It's like your two neighbours arguing over who should pour water on your burning house, and the house burns down while they argue.

I've noticed that I pay more attention to my stance now. I catch myself making sure I'm standing correctly. My boyfriend is so much taller than me, now I can actually peck him on the cheek if I really stretch.

I had promised him I would wear the shoes if he bought them for me, and now he's thinking he's going to have to buy me multiple pairs with different heel heights. I've been wearing them around the house after work & on the weekends. They're getting easier to wear, although I've stumbled a few times catching the heel on my slacks. My boyfriend just laughs and says I should be wearing dresses anyway. I love the looks he gives me when I wear them, and have to admit they're sexy to wear.

Hi everyone, Just found this site and want to say hello. My boyfriend just bought me a pair of designer heels, and I've never worn heels this high. He loves me wearing them, but sometimes they're a bit of a challenge. I was hoping that people can give me some pointers.
