There are 5 types of autogynephilia, according to Phil Illy.

    • Anatomic AGP—having a woman’s body
    • Sartorial AGP—donning women’s fashion
    • Behavioral AGP—behaving like a woman
    • Physiologic AGP—having a woman’s bodily functions
    • Interpersonal AGP—socially being a woman

In most of my preschool days, I was socially pushed to feel that I should have been a girl, because of my preferences to only wear the Mary Jane shoes (Sartorial AGP), like these: th30Z8O3KQ(6).jpg.a57401e3df054f06af323727798c6d6f.jpgwhich I was forced to acknowledge these shoe styles were for girls only without any other explanation or counseling. Later I was told that my preference was a phase that I would eventually grow out of. However, it actually led to my preferences for wearing heel styles, like these:11311968ml_14_eduo_smaller.thumb.jpg.94908579a57451263cc1ef8ce919917c.jpgin my elementary school years. Ever since then, these are the only two types and styles of footwear I have really wanted to adorn my appearance.

In my teens, I came to the realization that I didn't have to become a girl to wear my footwear preferences, because I saw society had to dictate, promote, and bully people to wear its socially assigned clothes. By researching, I came understand and was made aware of many appareling choices, practices, manipulations, and crossdressing activities through-out history. It's not very comforting to know we live under a system of appareling enslavement in our so-called free world.

  2. I read the prior comments and decided to watch the videoed interview on You Tube. The main emphasis seems to be a person has the right to wear the clothing items they prefer without being labeled with a sex identity, orientation, nor any other socially defined associations. Mark stressed the concepts for wearing heels or flats, a dress, a blouse and skirt, and/or a shirt and trousers/jeans are just the adornment styles each person prefers to wear that really doesn't have any sex attachments. The sex identities for clothing items are socially promoted constructs that have been brainwashed into people's understanding and perspectives. The apparel including the footwear of the French King Louis XIV and these two other drawings of men were considered manly accents in earlier centuries.

However today their stylish appearances have been socially promoted as women's assigned looks (not including the swords).

  3. With all the troubles the world is having to deal with, people consider this time to be a kind of social depression by their perceptions. They see the inflation as being boundless and economically destroying the affordability of our basic essential needs. Due to the COVID pandemic, our friends and neighbors have learned to keep their distances. Our political leaders are showing they aren't worth the trust to serve us as they squander their time telling us how bad the other side is, while they haven't done any better. The world immigrants are treated with disrespect, even to the violations of their human rights as they are seen as parasites.

The wearing of heels may seem to be in decline, because of these types of encompassing world outlooks. However the preferences and desires to wear them is strong and increasing because the purpose of our personally chosen adornments is to give us good feelings about ourselves and our appearance. So the potential of wearing high heels is very much intact and will return more than before, because people want to adorn their appearance with beautiful apparel.

  4. These types of reviews seem to be the reputation of many suppliers from the Asian market, where the product received has the type of heels ordered, but otherwise they have little to no quality and resemblance to the pictured advertisement. I ordered a pair of kitten heels by the presented pictures, but when I received and tried to put them on, the counters completely collapsed and folded around the heel support. Other pairs of heels from Asia had the pointed toe box significantly longer than the advertised pictures that sold me on the look. So I don't trust these markets as a whole. Many years ago I dealt with Peter of 6 Inch Heels Forever, which was fairly new on the Asian market and was able to get the shoes as ordered after many clarifying emails were communicated.

  5. Most of us experienced our childhood with being told guys are forbidden to wear heels, but this didn't delete our desires. By the time we got to be out on our own, our simple desires to wear heels had turned into obsessions, because we weren't able to have the satisfactions we needed to please our desires. With our obsession unleashed, we began buying the heels we prefer and could budget, but even these purchases weren't enough to quench our developed constant longing. Some of us have amassed quite a preferred collection of properly fitting pairs of heels at different heights and appearances, sometimes just to have them around and available for wearing on a whim and/or as outfit accents for public activities.

There have been times due to situations that I complied with the social dictations by discarding my then beautiful heel collections. However this was short lived as I was soon purchasing more pairs while lamenting and regretting I had given into conforming with the social pressures. Now my high heel collection is a bit overwhelming and I should start the process of being able to access all of them as I choose and making room for other pairs that intrigue my preferences.

  6. It would probably be more accurate to label heeled footwear by the sloping of the insole instead of the heel height. Heeled shoes and boots with platforms distort the wearer's height by the heel height. 1_184804_ZM_2_trio-ad.thumb.jpg.f5244689ee9cbf662af3f8806b2de0d3.jpg The average footwear sizing for the highest heels or steepest insole slope with single soles will only increase the wearer's maximum height gain to under 2.75 inches or 7 cm. The height of the platform is added to this single soled height.

  7. Unless a high heeler has an encompassing bias against "nude" footwear, chances are they have quite a collection to appropriately accent the appearances for some of their outfits. Not to disagree, but I have several pairs of Jimmy Choo high heels which took me a while to break in. After not consistently wearing these high heels the break in process has to be repeated. So before an event I pre-wear them for a few days to return to my familiar readiness, especially in these 6.125 high heeled Eros styles that are 5 inch equivalence: 1469182724_JIM271314_1_enlarged(2).thumb.jpg.62fb0764daa370a8444a8128d247318c.jpgor these 4.75 high stiletto heeled, single soled Giuseppe Zanotti: 301731738_GIU67804_1_enlarged(2).thumb.jpg.00941c63d7e98fa4178115f832242e17.jpgwhich are more of the pink nude color.

  8. I wear these Jimmy Choo Eros Pumps that have the equivalent height of 12.73 cm (5.01 inches). The stiletto heel measures at 15.72cm (6.19 inches) and the platform measures at 3cm (1.18 inches).  2033861296_247erospat_large_bkquad.thumb.jpg.f3dc9184e5d1093dbc3e1210e1a84d52.jpgDue to their styling and the platforms, they look quite a bit taller than they feel. I have other 4 to 5" stiletto pumps that aren't as comfortable to wear and as easy to gracefully walk in. However, most of the time I'm wearing heels in the 3.75 to 4.5 inch range, like these: 1681432038_YVE155114_1_50enlarged(2).thumb.jpg.2e1a9e8b5fe750a1db906d7320a4c9c3.jpgsebastian-high-stilleto-heel-pumps-black-blue-ombre-patent-leather-1.thumb.jpg.62a156ec640f32957f1a6e5491dad003.jpg2129322685_11201816gi_14_e(2).thumb.jpg.08bec283bc151881a5526f3171da3a25.jpg11311959od_14_e.thumb.jpg.a23da425a9508b2afd65434c1cac816b.jpg1522055176_11311968ml_14_eduo_smaller.thumb.jpg.c6f27c0214a6bd84615d00684275f896.jpg

  9. Being a hose with pumps type of a person, I prefer the ventilation and the non-stick surfaces the hose creates for my feet in close toed pumps. Which is also handy and helps me to readjust the foot placement in the pumps when needed without having to take them off.

    love those cowboy/girl boots!

If those southwestern US boots are girls, then this is a social reassignment that has recently happened, well within the last thirty to forty years. These boot styles were men's dress-up footwear for social activities, such as country dances, picnics, entertainment performances or cinemas, church, and/or courting that special someone and I don't mean their horse.

These are men's boots. I see the chunky heels and the platforms that give off all the vibes of the common perception of being the footwear of men. Even some men's cowboy boots have higher tapered heels without the platforms.

  12. The first stilettos used the initial spike heel shape as the seat of the heel as it concavely tapered to the breast of the heel about half way down the heel height to and around the 8 X 8 mm or smaller slender cylinder horse shoed circumference look to the 5 mm thick heel tip with the same horse shoed dimensions. Note the stilettos on the women of these two singing groups and Marilyn Monroe's stilettos.

  13. Sorry that I wasn't here to offer some comments in the earlier part of this discussion. GianmarcoLorenziMetal.jpg This is probably the only pair of stiletto heels that fit the actual definition. All the other heels incorporated this new available extremely thin stiletto creations with the already popular shaped heels, because there were drawings and paintings of the models and Hollywood actresses wearing really high thin heels that were motivators for Allied soldiers and now they could be achieved in real life.

GIU67804_1_duo_63840.thumb.jpg.c23bfe9ecea75187c03c2ce2ff78e46f.jpg These heels are of the original spike design that uses the thinness and strength of the stiletto to be taller and more slendered than the curved tapering of the 4 inch heels could be made prior to 1955. These types of heels are probably the reason people started to inappropriately referring to any of the thin and slender shaped heels as stilettos.

  14. Beginning as a well establishes two year old toddler, my footwear of choice were the black patent leather buckle strap shoes (now known as Mary Janes) 87a000.thumb.jpg.42a9d194ff49d856e4bcfcb8d69c26fd.jpg all though the high top training shoes were the footwear socially expected and bought for me. A couple of years passed and a pair of patent leather stiletto pointed toe pumps were worn 350842302_11311968ml_14_eduo_smaller.thumb.jpg.b629d693318cf561acb4b36b71f0085b.jpgand I couldn't see them enough. From then on these two types of footwear styles with patent leather finishes became the preferred footwear look that is essentially the bases for all my footwear choices, also with almond, oval, or round toe boxes along with a few suedes, satins, glitters, sequins, animal skins, prints and flowery lacings to offer more varieties in my texture and color options. Single soles have held the priority spot, but when platforms became streamline styled or hidden, less than 2 inches tall, and didn't look like after thought add-ons, I started to wear them also. 153784067__57Quilted_b.thumb.jpg.06f874d48e1f71a0ad0ac92b1d7bcebd.jpg     1930558473_YSLTributeTooCrocodile.jpg.8a7f465594bad107873a04691a9fdae5.jpg

  15. The platformed and blocked heel shoes of the 1970's and early 80's were the footwear that made people's feet seem hideously and disproportionately large, which scratches the virtual chalkboard with my mind's finger nails. The more I saw them on display and being worn, the less I wanted to have anything to do with them. So the return of the 70's platforms have no bearing on my footwear choices.

The streamlined, slender sleekness of the stiletto pumps continue to be my preferred choices for footwear no matter what fashions are trending. The average size stiletto pump shoes can even have slendered and tapered platformed toe boxes of less than 1.5 inches tall that look like they are part of the design and not added at the last minute, when the stiletto heels are equivalently taller than 4.5 inches. Putting platforms on average size shoes with heel heights less than 4 inches only makes the wearer's feet look displeasingly and awkwardly larger with most heel styled footwear, as a general speculation.

  16. Heels can be reconfigured, but the classics will always be the most appealing and the best looking, like this pair of blue patent 4" high stilettos1607652232_11623946mb_14_fquod_a.thumb.jpg.f9ae746a0f1032810eb7b3a996b857cb.jpg or this pair 6" high heeled pumps   1314992997_042921fa737d07773f9d638a9520fa3db(6).thumb.jpg.4a361e02907e8ff23d9d556a699b55f4.jpg , over any other styled footwear to infinity and beyond. The height of the heel may change from lower to higher and platforms may be part of the design, but these basic, simple, classic heeled pumps with personally preferred colors and textures are the styles that will always be wardrobe standard must haves.

  17. This 3.875" J Crews pump is an example of the furthest set back heel that holds any attraction to my high heeled tastes. 512836509_jcrew-black-patent-leather-round-pumps-size-us-10-regular-m-b-0-1-960-960(2).thumb.jpg.0e51333ad151a5cb6494485769f4b7e0.jpgI do have a couple of other higher heeled pairs of the more set back positioning, but they don't fit the preferred look that captures my desires. So these set back heels are in the process of more forward heel positioning replacements.

  19. I've tried a few times to unload a truck by its ramp when wearing 4" heels and I was basically forced to run down the ramp with no stopping or slowing ability until the after I was completely off the ramp. I probably could have mastered the technique, but it wasn't worth the potential risks of injuries and other consequences while achieving this goal.

  20. Since during World War 1, women became familiar with wearing trousers/pants as they took on the factory jobs to support the men they replaced so the men could be soldiers in the war efforts. It took about 40 years of women expressing and wearing the pants they wanted before society, as a whole, approved women wearing the pants men wore. However, before this approval happened, there were some socialites who disapproved of men and women wearing the same styled items. So these socialites forced the fashion industry to restyle, refabricate, and/or florally applique pants to rationalize and try to convince people that men and women weren't wearing the same items, even though both versions of pants covered the same areas and continue to have the same functioning purposes, with and/or without pockets.

High heels also originated as footwear for European men as early as the late 1500's. Before this, Persian horse riding soldiers wore footwear with blocks designed and attached under the heels of their feet to better utilize and secure the stirrup supports as they rode and fought. The European men wanted to portray the  look of bold maleness that the heeled footwear offered so they began to have the heeled footwear made for them too, even though most men didn't ride any horses. The look of heels also intrigued the desires of women who started wearing the heels men wore. This activity caused the homophobic socialites to oppose women wearing the heels of men, but the activities continued. Frustrated, these socialites began doing anything they could come up with to stop women from wearing the heels of men. An idea to restyle the heels for women to use only was initiated, but since heels were still considered men's footwear, men liked the sleeker designs and started wearing them also. This angered the socialites so much that they vowed and continued to pursue any possibilities to down play and get rid of high heels. With the reasons for the French Revolution and the Enlightenment Movement, the stage was prepared to cause the wearing of high heels to be socially banished and distained. Then the Industrial Revolution also helped to change the social atmosphere to the point men were forced to give up their high heels because of the revised and biased social perspectives of what real men and women are.

For about 3 centuries, these social perspectives have been preached and programmed into the attitudes people are led to understand. The idea of men wearing heels has become so skewed that the ventures of men wanting to wear heels are seen as wanting to be and/or to look like women, even though for men it is really about men having the natural taste and desire to wear (high) heels, the same way they desired to wear the Persian footwear back in the 1500's.
