Can't say I care for that style. Seems unnecessarily hard to walk in, not very rounded like those great vintage fetish heels. If anyone knows where I can find heels like those, let me know! Other than (Burlesque Blue)

I'm always surprised how expensive "retail" ballet boots are- it's ridiculous. Like $200? There's nothing about them that should be any more expensive than other boots, other than a slightly different manufacturing process. I'd really like to try heelless heels. Not so much that type that are technically more of a wedge, but actual heelless, like Beckham's. I mean, your weight has to be on your toes the entire time. That can't be easy

Four pairs is a good amount. For a while I would just buy cheaper shoes but more of them- now I'm shifting towards buying far less (much more concealable) but buying really nice ones instead. I think it's a good trade-off.

That concept is incredibly bold. One of the things I can say for sure I'd never do. Power to ya!

I'm still trying to determine if the whole heel thing is more enjoyable because it's pretty taboo or not. On the surface I'd say probably not, but I think subconsciously it might play a role. Not really sure yet, I'm pretty casual about it anyway.

Fortunately I'm a 10US (8UK) so I just barely slipped in the common range, but mine are wider so things like D'orsay types are out. But I can live with that.

Great story but I'd love someone to provide photos or illustrations for it. I've seen copies of this around the Internet with a relevant picture or two, but it would be great to have images along the way

Maybe that's a good thing, they would probably just be a distraction anyway.
