Oh that's easy - - - Platforms allow people who can't handle a 5" heel to actually get a 5" heel or higher, and not have the problems of walking in a true 5" heel.
Obviously that's true, I'm just wondering why actual high heels must be so expensive. It's like steep arches are patented technology only Louboutin and Gucci can get their hands on. Annoying

Those are very nice.
-
They always do that, I'm surprised more people don't find it obvious. Very noticeable in The Watchmen. TDKR was a great movie though, and there were some good shots- even though some seemed like they were trying extra hard to avoid them
-
My question is, what is it about cheap shoes and low arches? With a few Pleaser exceptions, it seems like if you want a high heel without a goofy platform, you have to spend a lot of money. Why can't lower-end designers make actual high heels without dumbing them down with giant platforms?

The sole goes back pretty far but they look comfortable. I'd like to buy something like these someday, but I think I'd only be interested in one of the high-priced models
-
I really like those... price is unsurprising.
-
Stuck glasses... Huh, I've never heard a fetish story like that before.
-
I'm not sure how I feel about Gianmarco heels... expensive obviously, but super pointy toes just seem difficult to walk in. And wouldn't that form a nasty crease before long?
-
I used to love looking at these when I was younger.

In reality they're pretty poor quality, but they're certainly photogenic!

Flip flops, like everything else, are just another example of people wanting to do things easier. Guys were t-shirts instead of ties, etc. But it doesn't seem like the modern style can get any more comfortable... maybe it will start to reverse itself? I know a lot of people who like dressing up, but obviously it's not the norm so nobody does it.

I like that last pair, they seem comfortable
-
@Shafted yep, as does the more recent My Little Pony. ahem, not that I'd be any example of a grown up watching kids shows at all. Nope, my avatar has nothing to do with ponies. >.<
That's... interesting

I was always told they ran smaller... but most of the time I find them true to size
-
I guess by now the Spongebob crowd has grown up...
-
Gotta hand it to Lady Gaga, she's talented (in walking in heels)
-
I'm confused by the 'for comfort' part... wouldn't be flats be the most comfortable? Physically, anyway.
-
For me I'd say feminine in general, but it definitely starts with the heels and in many cases that is enough!
-
I just bought a pair they should be here this week I will let you know on the fit. I liked the look hope that I am not disapointed
Please do! I went with black patent and the look was great, they're just a little large. If anyone wants to buy them from me send me a PM

Dune makes some good shoes
-
Probably because they're a little on the cheap side. You could do a lot worse though.
-
Has anyone else purchased these and found them to run particularly large? I'm wondering if I should exchange them for a lower size or if it was just an outlier...

Alternatively you can post images you've uploaded to your own galleries here on hhplace. Pretty much the only way to post customized images without use of webspace that I've found

Probably these heels by Delicious, on account of them being pink. I'm selling them to whoever wants them though! (10US)

I get the gay thing, but I also don't. I guess it seems like something a gay person would do, but how many gay people do you know that crossdress? For me, its zero (that I know of.) How many crossdressers do you know that are gay? For me, still zero. Guess it's just a knee-jerk reaction to something they're uncomfortable with.
