I am a womens size 10. I have a narrow foot with a very high arch. Pumps and perfect. Boots are tricky. I try to go with a 3.5" to 4.25". I have one 4.5" pump, and that is my limit! I wish my instep wasn't so high. Good luck in wearing ice skates!

If so, would you leave them by the front door when you take them off, or put them in your gym bag. I wonder what my parents would think about my fluevog, portside pumps, or my jessica simpson, torta ankle boots?
-
I don't like wedges and chunky platforms much anymore. A think stilletos and skinny chunky heels are sexy. One of my faverites is the jessica simpson TORTA boot. But it would be stunning if it had a square toe. It has no platform and 4.25" heels. I can walk in them fairly well. My faverite right now is the portside pump from fluevog. It is in my avatar picture. But I don't like the color too much. I would like to dye the grey color to brown, like the top, and keep the heel black. Then it would be stunning. Can you dig that! Talk to you soon Bootcat.

What is the difference between a midheel and a high heel? I think a high heel is 4" and up. Would that be correct?

Anybody wear heels in the grocery store? Are your heels loud or quiet? We all know grocery store floors are loud. The only problem I have is that its hard to carry a lot of grocery bags in high heels. My balance is a little off. Bootcat.

Why can rockstars and celebrities wear what they want without getting and bad reviews, and we can't? If bon jovi and ritchie sambora walked into red lobster with heels, leather pants, long hair, and a ton of jewellery, people would say cool! Let's get their autographs! But, we can't do the same thing, or can we? Let me know what you gets think. I like to look slick and trendy, but not sleazy and cheap. Or maybe wearing 4.5" pumps with girls jeans is trashy. But I wear $100.00 jeans, and $300.00 shoes. Now exactly payless pumps and walmart jeans. Ill try to post a new pic of myself in my gallery. I've got some new clothes and shoes. A lot less thrift store boots. I think I can pull off the rockstar look!

Off topic, but when I wear 4" heels to swiss chalet(canadian restaurant chain), all the waitressesl are super friendly! Anybody find that women never hate men wearing heels.
-
They aren't mens pumps, but womens pumps. But it doesn't matter. I think ill dye them black. There is too much colour. They are quite loud. They take a lot getting used to when walking(4.5" heels). They are easier to walk inv than my jessica s. Torta boots. I might get a quieter heel put on them. Any of you guys wear heels that don't make any noise?
-
Ill try to put more weight on the balls of my foot. I found that it helps to push off on your toes, also. Would taking steps too short screw things up too much?
-
I would like to dye the grey part black, and have just 2 colours instead of 3. And would like to have quieter heels, I hate loud shoes, other than that, I love them! They look awesome with jeans!

I like the high heels and the womens bootcut pants. There are plenty of mens tight tops to choose from. I don't wear skirts because I'm probably going to love them. I wear concealer and foundation, but no eye makeup. So heels and bootcut pants are my thing. Although, I wear wider flares with chunky heel boots. I'm more comfortable in boots than high heel shoes. But, I'm learning how to walk nice in tall, high heel shoes. So, the only femme things I don't wear are skirts and dresses. Anything else I go for.

I make all my heels quiet. I hate too much noise. But it is heaven when a pretty girl has loud stilettos! Just my point of view.

When wearing ultra high heels, or heels higher than you're used to: Is the walk more like a stomp with your whole leg, than a heel to toe with 2-3" heels. I just bought 4.5" pumps, and it is easier to walk with a stomp. I'm used to knee, and ankle boots with a lot more stable ankle support. Will it take a long time to walk in tall pumps easily?
-
My style is more trendy. Not really bell bottoms anymore, but boot cut pants over the boots. 4" heels with a square or almond toe-box. A nice sweater in one or two colors, or a button down shirt. My clothes are form fitting, but not busting at the seams. I cover 3/4 of the heels so my feet look nice and small. I take my appearance very seriously! I won't go to the grecery store without nice clothes and heels on! No cheap thriftstore clothes. High fashion all the way. I now buy less items, and save up for the things that cost a lot. But staying within a certain budget. Its all about being glamourous and attractive looking. If you have ever seen a rick owens catwalk, that's what I try to portray.

I put my tall boots on the floor in a neat row, and my pumps and loafers in deep bookcases. I will post some pics in my gallery soon.

No way? Cool! I saw three guys wearing kneehigh boots, with pants tucked in, on the subway yesterday. I could do that, but a wear long bells, so my feet look tiny! I'm buying some fluevog 4" high heel shoes today. They are on clearance for $200. Saw them yesterday, but couldn't sleep and had it have them. Ill post they in my gallery later on tonight! Talk to you soon!

Toronto is my faverite city for shopping! Especially on queen west between university and bathurst My faverite stores are: Fluevog Scarpino Jean machine Le chateau H and m - so-so Aldo Holt renfrew and the Room at the bay are way out of my price range. The are very similar to barneys and saks fifth avenue in manhattan. I'm going to new york in the new year! Can't wait! Busy saving money now. I've been to london and paris. Didn't stay long enough to go shopping. Maybe someday. Do you guys have faverite cities to shop?

Get a pair, they are too cool for school! I got a black pair that I converted into calf boots. I want to also get a brown pair. There are many other boots on my wish list!

I bought a pair of boots from a vintage store. They were made in argentina. With a size 8. I usually take a size 10 womens usa size. Is this size 8 the same as a mens american size 8?

Maybe cocky is too harsh a word. Maybe a bit uppity or rockstar-ish. I also like to be taller. High heels bring me up to 6'1". Heels make me feel good in my own skin.

My faverite designer is fluevog. There really is no gender in their stores. Today I tried on 10 different pairs of heels. The sales people suggested other ones to try on as well. The sales girl can't believe how well I can walk in heels! I told for that I could run for a bus in heels. They all have to have a passion for shoes, or they can't work there. Go to their store sometime, they will make you feel important. No matter what gender you are! Its all about fashion.

Anybody try leeward boots from fluevog? They are the most amazing boots I ever wore. They have 4" heels, a bit of platform. They fit perfectly on my calves. Never had that before. I either have to chop my boot shafts or get them tapered. Check they out at the store or online to see pics. They are almost $600.00. I have to put them on a layaway. Can't wait to get them! Curt.

Do anybody feel really cocky when wearing heels? I know why many women wear heels now! It about complete confidence, and power. I feel like I can take on the world in heels. I feel weak with flats on. I went downtown with my brother yesterday, I said to him, I should have worn my chunky heel boots, my feet hurt too much in flats!

I won't go back to the mens department, unless they have a bunch of jessica simpson heels there!
