  1. Either sandals or pumps, I really can't appreciate peep-toe shoes with stockings or hosiery.

In other words, if the toenails are visible, hosiery is a bad choice in my opinion.

Fishnets could be the exception, but I find it often gives a quite "slutty" look.

  2. I would add it depends on the shoe width. Most of EU sizes do not take width into account. Wide width seems to have appeared only recently here in France (1 or 2 years ago). I believe my size is EU42.5 but I own several shoes from EU42 to EU43. My UK size is definitely UK9 wide (most shoes I own are from UK brands). My US size seem to be US12 or should in fact be US11 wide. US12 is often a bit narrow and a bit too long at the same time, and US11 wide I have never found yet. Not sure but hope that helps...

  3. Every person I know who has been hacked, or had their identity stolen or similar has done at least one of these four things.

    1) Be online while being a windows administrator instead of a user. If you can install software, they can install it too.

    2) Browser feature - - (remember my password) - - -Don't do it. Use your own memory

    3) Weak passwords - same one you might use to log onto your PC and use online. I cringe every time I see a person who has their system set to automatically go online without at least having to enter a password at startup.

    4) Online password storage- It's hard to hack your own brain.

Password example Christian Louboutin = Chr15t1an%L0u90ut1n

OK done ranting - I had 4 family members who got hacked through a site while using PayPal over christmas - - - They all used their first name and "Church, Pray, GTO, Jesus" as passwords.

    1) Using Windows as regular user is a real everyday (every instant) pain. Use linux instead

    2) Use keepass instead.

    3) That's quite useless with windows. A windows password can be reset with the right tool in a few minutes.

    4) By definition, since it's online, it's not really private anymore...

I agree with your example : the password complexity is very important !

  4. I'm experiencing the opposite : I had back pain often before, when I was not heeling daily. Now I'm mostly on (moderate) heels, I seldom have back pain. I must say my back has always been quite arched. Maybe I was meant to wear heels since I was born ?!?

  5. I ordered cheap boots form a china seller once : one of the heels snapped the first time I wore them (after a couple of hours).

The cobbler said there were not repairable because they were so poorly made...

The seller asked for pictures and gave me my money back.

Besides this, be careful about their size chart : I wear UK9 which is most of the time US12 and EUR43 (and 27,5cm in length). That doesn't quite match...

To sum up, the sellers are nice, but the quality of the shoes is bad.

Marion, That's just one pair of boots. Not a whole country. Everything is made in China these days and most stuff doesn't fall apart.

I know, but have a second look : I wrote cheap boots

  6. Try walking a mile to your local bus stop, standing for half an hour on a bus, four hours walking round town without a break and then the return journey. Then you keep the heels on in the house and not take them off until 10am the following morning to put some even higher heels on. I do that most days when I'm not working.

Walking a lot is not a problem for me if my shoes fit, but standing without moving is much more tiring, especially for the balls of the feet.

And after a day in heels, I just feel so bad if I go back to flats or lower heels, that I tend to keep heeling till I go to sleep... or even put higher heels too

  8. To my eyes, Uggs are just like Crocs and Birkenstock : ugly shoes that I would never wear. But I think everyone is free to wear what they want even if it turns to an Uggly look...

  9. My comfort zone is from 4" up to 5" heels (I wear EUR43 / UK9 / US11,5).

I can walk in 5.5" without any problem, but it requires more attention / effort.

I just ordered my first pair of 6" heels (not received yet) so I can't tell yet.

3" heels and under are still comfortable but too low to feel / realize I'm wearing heels (in other words, when I'm wearing 3" heels or lower, I quickly forget that I'm wearing heels).

And below 1", it often becomes painful if I walk a lot, especially when wearing completely flat shoes : my heels hurt at the end of the day and I need to wear heels (3" to 4") or walk tip-toe, to relief that pain.

Saying that makes me realize that my problem with flat shoes tends to be more frequent these days...

Update : I received my Pleaser Domina 119 approx 10 days ago and wore them often since : these sandals are absolutely and amazingly comfortable and walkable ! Even more than other 5" and 5"5 sandals I own.

I already wore them all day long without any major problem (except when standing more than half an hour without walking, but it also happens with lower heels).

And after a day wearing these, it feels very weird when I put them off... Like I don't know how to walk flat-footed no more, for a couple of minutes, having balance problems and automatically trying to tip-toe !

I then usually put on 3" or 4" heels instead of staying flat-footed or tip-toeing... It's quite amazing how fast I forget I wear 4" heels after wearing 6" the whole day !

  10. Well, I can't say that I "love" them, but they are very nice and I would certainly wear them. They are a nice look for a pair of jeans. A nice casual style.

    Exactly what I thought !

  12. It has happened to me a couple of times : - when wearing plain ballerina flats (without bows). The mother answered (quieter than her daughter) that it was not forbidden, and that I looked quite good in them. - when wearing mid-heeled boots, the father said his daughter it was ok, that I was free to wear what I wanted and that it was no problem. Never had the situation with a little boy. I suppose girls are more into fashion details than boys.

  13. (...)

I find that my female side has all the creative juices, and my male side has a good mechanical aptitude. The mix of those two, by the way, makes a good computer programmer. I do notice that the balance changes from time to time. The female side wants to be noticed, and the male side would rather blend into the world and evaporate when he dies without leaving a trace. My female side sketches at the art museum, and my male side fixes the brakes on my car. Working together, they write very good computer code.

I have not experienced the intense emotional experience that Kneehighs writes about, rather a late discovery that there are really two (at least) forces in me that are in constant combat over how I want to present myself either in heels and on extreme days a skirt or just a regular guy. The days that the heels side wins, I write a post, when the regular guy wins, I don’t post anything (maybe I should to balance things out).

    (...)

That's it ! Your analysis works very well to explain (and justify, if needed) my feelings too ! Thanks for that !

  14. My back is quite arched, and I have much less problems/ache with it since I wear heels. Wearing flat shoes when I must walk for a long distance or stay on my feet for a long time leads to backache everytime, and even heel pain most of the time. Whenever I wear moderate heels from 3 to 7 cms (1.5" to 3"), I never feel pain. Whenever I wear high heels, I feel sometimes pain but only in the front part of the feet. So the worst for my body seems to be wearing flat shoes.

  15. Same experience for a pair of boots I bought on eBay: they were labeled UK9 and were so tiny I couldn't even put them on. 90% of my shoes are UK9. I would suggest you to take at least one size up.
