  1. I've added some close up pictures of my boots on my web page now, as you can't see too much details in the other pictures.

I also realised I hadn't added anything about heels-v-my kids so there's a small bit at the bottom of the page too.

Just waiting for delivery in 4.5" stilettos and so not gonna change out of them

  2. I doubt either of you two are the 'shy retiring type' ..... so please don't be afraid to add piccies to your posts.

As a street heeler myself, I find reading about others doing the same helps keep me enthusiastic. In fact both of you seem to be doing a lot better than me 'trailblazing', which in turn is making me want to push my own boundaries a bit further..... No bad thing, if a little scary at times....

But understanding what "look" I should aim for, would be helped enormously with pictures of your own outfits, I could then use for guidance. :wink1:

    .........

I've got some pics on my blog (see my signature) but I'll add some new ones when I get a chance.

I was very shy and quiet when I was younger and if it wasn't for my girl friends I doubt I would have found the confidence that I have now. I've still got some way to go but defo getting there.

  3. My first outing in heels was the 2" thing (http://oy2.biz/omg/heels2.JPG). I was on a coach trip and nobody battered an eye lid. It's good for the confidence for the first few outings but even then the heel should be visible - no wedges as then you can't see anything.

I personally think 3" is the minimum for streetheeling and 3-4 is the norm for me (ok so I can't do more than 4 without a platform).

  4. Why not tell us a little about you're wearing heels at the place where you work. What kind of reaction to you get from the people you work with and what kind of work do you do that you can wear heels while working? I'm sure that I'm not the only member interested in hearing your story.

My story (a work in progress) is now available at:

    http://oy2.biz/omg/rheelme.htm

If you want to know more please ask as I'm sure there will be something I've missed.

  5. I've been wearing heels in work for more than 6 months now and also got called into the office with the bosses as i had worn a skirt. They were very supportive but I'm still uncomfortable with the guys in the office so not sure if i'll be in skirt again - although much better in this warmer weather. I often wear sensible fem tops and haven't had any problems I have some dealings with clients and haven't had any -ve comments with being in heels yet. The girls in work have been great support.

  6. I've been wearing 3-4" heels in St Helens (Merseyside UK) for a few months now - with long trousers - but still 1" of heel showing and you can usually hear the heels. I've heard a few guys making comments behind me but most people aren't bothered. Did have a group of guys-n-gals notice my 4" stilettos recently - started with "oh my" type comments and finished with "but he carries it well". I never turn around just let them be. I heel in work now and on social nights in straight bars. The women are shocked but let me be myself. I try to avoid the guys.

  7. After some months away and now on a better email link I have returned. After admitting heeling (and casual cross dressing) to my best friends I now heel in work. I don't do skirts there yet but had worn fem tops. I'm rarely out of heels around St Helens these days - even in straight bars. I'm not sure how much time I'll spend on this site but I'll hopefully stick around longer than I did last year. I'll add boots pic when i remember what to do. Even got pics on facebook now.

  8. Ok despite my Avatar I don't do the wig thing too often. I just ditch the trousers and flat shoes for short skirts and high heels. I've not long since shared my cross dressing with anyone but after meeting some wonderful people on a dating site i decided to be brave and tell my closest friends - with a view to being able to get out dresses how i want. Started off ok then high a tricky one. About 2 weeks on things have settled down but the initial offers to go out heeling have disappeared. My online friends are still a great help and i've got a couple of offers to go out dressed how i want. Not having a car is slowing me down here, fortunately i can drive and can borrow or hire. All my friends are female, i do have a couple of male friends but i haven't come out to them yet. I did have the confidence to get out in heels but my coming out has knocked that a bit at mo. Hopefully will find some more local friends soon.

  9. :mecry:Good friends and work don't work. My best friends in work have decided to be just friends as they think this will be better for me. Ok so I wear so called women's clothes. Why can I not be friendly towards women? Why could this cause problems. Surely so stop could imply that i'm gay. Now I've lost two of my going out friends and a lot of confidence. I knew this wouldn't be easy but I thought I had my friends by my side. I've still got my ex-sister-in-law and online friends but i would be lying if i didn't admit that i've taken a knock. I'm basically just a guy who prefers skirts and high heels. I don't often go full fem. I haven't given up - the closet isn't an easy place to get back into once you get out - but my adventures into the wide world will be a bit slower.

  10. It's been a long time and it was only 3am but i finally took steps outside again - dressed properly. 4" heels boots and short leather skirt, was a bit too mild for the leather jacket. I've now got 2 friends to go to Manchester with so should be there in 2 or 3 weeks. Okay you say "why not sooner", well i to have family ties. My other work friend laughed (ouch) when i opened up to her, although she has another girly boy friend and gay friends. I recovered from the upset after six hours and strong again now. I could be joining her and friends in Liverpool before long. I've also met a handful of girls on line you have enjoyed meeting the girly me and one is local so I may be able to start a real friendship there. I'll keep you updated on my adventures getting into the real world.

  11. Ok, so now having half a dozen on line girl friends who I can have great heel chats with and after telling my best work friend, I have not told my ex-sister-in-law. She's looking fwd to joining me in canal street to. One more work friend to put trust in at mo and could end up in Liverpool with her and her gay boy friends.

  12. I just told my best friend at work about my fashion preference tonight and was told off for not telling her before. I've even got an invitation to got with her to mcr dressed as i want. Ok she's looking forward to going to canal street and not getting hit on. Just gonna go jeans and boots for 1st trip but keen to go out as my avatar before too long. Thanks for the support guys. I'll let you know how i get on. 8)

  13. Haven't done anything yet. Will need defo room share otherwise can't afford prices twice my norm - sorry.

Have only got solo debit card so will have to see if they accept that - some places are still in dark ages and don't take natwest debit cards.

    Hi Teanna71,

have you booked your hotel room? It would probably best to do this and book it as a twin bed room. There isn't any deposit required when you book, just a credit card guarantee on the room.

    david & cathy

Whoops - slight prob they don't take my plastic. I'll try and get credit card to sort booking.

  14. I prefer the 3"-5" heels, altho not bothered about platforms. I have told a couple of girl friends about my heels and that is now my new rule that they must accept the heel me. Haven't been out yet, other than under cover of darkness, but as you will see from other posts I'm hoping to get out in heels soon. If going out in this little town i stick to 2" school shoes or platform trainers.

  15. I admit that i'm own worst enemy. I've met a few heel friendly women now so that should help my first outing. Not having my own car is a problem - or at least in my head - as i have to use public transport everywhere and I'm an hour from Liverpool & Manchester
