I'm hopefully going to try this when my ex-wife pops round at the weekend. I'll update my webpage if I'm brave enough - I've got a new confidence boost at mo and hope it lasts a while.
-
Still yes, although I actually get to wear these out in public, even without the need for long trousers. Supportive bar staff defo help. Even the male staff are impressed and supportive.

St Helens, Merseyside - Guy in heels friendly? - possibly. A small town and a now popular but "The Counting House" and guys in heels have so much respect from the staff - male & female. I started off in long black jeans and black boots. Female staff gave me support for skinny jeans and tan boots - so not hidden. Went for it and male staff even complimented me. Me Happy

I too have less back problems when in 4" heels. I sprained my ankle in flats a few weeks ago but had no problem walking in heels too.
-
I'm getting there. Just bought new pair of Tan 3.5" Knee High boots (see my web page) and after day in work went to pub. Had changed into flatter fem shoes but decided to brave boots when back in pub - so the right move. Bar staff so supportive - and it's a straight bar. I needed that. Watch out Blackpool I'll be out there in a few weeks - haven't decided on what I'm wearing yet.

Will be back in Blackpool 2nd weekend in August - enjoyed Easter there and hopefully will enjoy another rHeel weekend. May even get out in skirt this time.

now added to my site: 1) How I started - added following Q from facebook gal 2) New boots - and they aren't black

Well I still think it's pesky, like one of those tamagotchi things that needs feeding all the time.
can't disagree with that

I deleted my facebook account.
It was starting to keep me busy.
Besides, I didn't like the idea of everyone being able to access and contact you.
facebook are making it easier to change the privacy settings now so you can only let friends see your details. they just don't warn you enough to start off with about the lack of privacy
-
I'm on Facebook. Still quite new on it and you have to make sure you take ticks out of boxes when agreeing to things but defo a good way of keeping in touch with peeps and sharing pics - privacy settings can made sure only those peeps you want to see pics can.

With low confidence lately - ok and having to go heeling solo most of the time i haven't been out in heels much. I did brave a quick walk for pub lunch in thin 4" heels just over a week ago but didn't feel comfortable going out. I was definitely spotted. Today I made the effort again. Just in 3" thin heel ankle boots. My confidence was a bit higher so i didn't bother too much about being noticed but was worried when i left the office and had to walk past 4 junkies. I'll hopefully be back out in 4" heels again soon. Not getting out socially lately hasn't helped.

Firefox 2 for me i'm afraid. Not used IE7 for ages now.
Don't be afraid. Spread the Firefox word - Microsoft can lose. and no I'm not paid by FF to say this
-
I'm usually out in a 4" medium heel but so prefer stilettos. I can even run in the things. Started out in block heels and when confidence is low then they are choice of the day. Confidence defo helps thin the heel. Society so needs to accept guys in heels. I hate wearing long trousers with them.

I've used FF2 for ages now and it's a lot safer than IE7, ok so bit slow to boot. add-ons are fun to mess around with - and free - IE7 charges for some of this stuff. FF3 - faster - add-ons catching up and still a lot safer that IE7. For PCs there's no excuse not to use FF3 - we could prob even have a High Heel theme for it one day Mobile = Opera Mini

Heels & work shouldn't be too bad. This side of pond work is prob easier than public to wear whatever u want. I meet outside peeps in heels every now and again. Got local store where pierced, tattooed guy works and so doesn't hide it - why should we - ok so we need more confidence. I agree, most of public aren't bothered if u guy in heels. I'll be out for lunch in 4" stilettos in straight bar great lesbian friend. Nowt like giving it a go.

I have camera rigged up so can see who's at front door which makes life easier if i need to avoid peeps. fortunately my ex doesn't pop around without warning and then only to drop the kids off so safe on that one. my mum hasn't got into habit of popping round yet either. they 2 peeps that i try so avoid. my brother is only other one and he doesn't come around either. family = no heels others = why not

I'm only free on 29th but not sure how good trains are for me. The joys of not having a car and having to rely on public transport. It's good but not that good.

So when do I heel?
AT HOME: most of the time, except then my kids are around - ok so will wear 3" wedge boots under long jeans. Will usually answer door in heels.
GOING OUT: depends on confidence. nearly always in fem footwear now although often just 2-3" school style shoes.
Skirts, dresses -n- more?
AT HOME: I'm often in skirts or fem jeans. my tops are usually t-shirts as haven't found many fem tops i'm comfy in yet - beer belly doesn't help. padded bra does help to balance figure a bit.
I will sometimes make full effort with wig and a bit of make up even when my girl friends are around - have never really done boy friends.
GOING OUT: very rare as most my friends live too far away to have anyone to go out with. maybe one day. I will sometimes wear fem tops at work.

Greeting from a Yorkshire man in Merseyside. Thanks for PM hope it was of some help.

Sorry southeners but this northerner doesn't have a car but has easy access to trains. Meetings down south just isn't an option. If there are any other northerners out there who want to meet please fell free to add your suggestions.

"WA10" = postcode for part of St Helens so can't really be pronounced.
"rHeelGuy" = pronounced "real guy" - i use this on dating sites, just liked playing with the words.

Welcome back... I'm curious, how do you pronounce your username?

Defo agree. Stopping from a run isn't a quick thing. Sprinting in 4"+ thin heels is defo not sensible - as was seen in recent race by women which ended up in most of them on the floor.
-
Usually quite slow, keeps the heel noise down, but can turn up the speed if i need to - and run across roads - had to try it and fortunately had no probs (3" block to 4" thin heels)
-
Yes this is me and I wear these in work. They are a bit too high for me to go out in though. There are more pics on my signature link and I'll add my other boots soon - fortunately I haven't got too many pairs - yet.
As you are at home with heels on, someone rings at the door. What do you do ?

3.5" tan boots and there's a knock at the door. That'll be the ex wife any kids to take their cat home. I didn't chicken out just let them in. The ex had a couple of chances to see the heels but she didn't say anything. Another hurdle jumped in heels.
