Hi EdwardianEra, Maybe a tip to remember, if you cannot shave the legs, try to put on lacey/fishnet tights or stockings. They are best in black and conceale your hear on the legs very good. FL

I've just bought my first pair of 6 inch heels off eBay:smile: They arrived in the post this morning, and I unpacked them and put them straight on. Best of all, I can stand in them and walk in them:clap:

I would like to buy a pair like these, but as already mentioned I have a wide calf and as well a very high bridge (the top of my foot) so it makes it already difficult to buy sandals. Or are they easy to fit, do I have to take a size larger....

very nice heels!! If they made them non-peep toe version, then i'd buy a pair myself.

I asked and they showed me some pairs but not as nice as these.

I'm now practising quite a lot and feel it in the calfs. It will tke some time before I will be able to walk and stand in them properly..... but I will not give in....

I wish you good luck with the new boots, Shockqueen. I bought a pair of nice boots too, but the calf is to small, so I always have a gap. Have you any tips on loosing some fat on the calfs, by doing some exercise. What I mean are there any particulary things we can do to make the calf a little smaller.. FL

Hi SuperTurbo I have some platforms in my collection and as ShockQueen says; they are more stable. In some occasions I even think them more comfortable as well.But that is just me.... I like your black ones the best johnieheel FL

It was very intresting, but as I remember of my historical lessons.In those times, the males also had heels on there shoes, and sometimes higher then the ladies. Look at Louis the fifteenth, he was only a small person. Or am I wrong. That is also why I would say,why can't we wear high heels like they did in those days. Anyway, keep the good work up, FL

I am 6'1" and us woman sz 13-14, uk 11 or european 44-45,5.

Oh yes, I would like to have "normal" woman size. But then again maybe not. Because then my closet would be overfilled with beautiful shoes and boots. Now I "only" have around 25-27 pairs.
