  1. Latly I have been buying all of my high heels at Payless. This week I went there after supper wearing my Brash lumna 5" wedge heels. The sales assoc came over and made a remark about my heels and asked if i liked them and if they were comfortable that she wanted to get herself a pair. We looked over the different styles and i ended up getting a pair of 3" sandels. I did mention that I always send a reply about the great service that I recive. She said thank you and that they all know because my e-mails are posted at the three stores and they all figured that it was "Jerry". On one of my shoping trips I left a card with them telling that I work for a HVAC company and if they ever need anything call me. And they figured that i was the one that sent the e-mails. We talked about some other men that do buy shoes but that they dont try them on as they are for "there wife". She said its just silly we dont care. Its a lot easier to just be your self and a hole lot more Fun .

  2. Since I foung this site I have been wearing a pair of 3" American eagle booties that i bought from payless almost every day to work. I am also in the camp that my wife does not approve. I usally wear longer boot cut jeans and I have never heard a neg comment. last week I went out for a beer at a local bar and I wore a pair of 5" platform wedge and again no comments. I then went to payless to check out anything new. Since ther job is shoes the sales asoc did notice and the two of us talked about different heels. I have gone out at different times of the day with anything from 3" boots 3" wedges to 5" heels and wedges.

  3. I just counted a couple of days ago I bought 15 new pair of boots and heels in the last 4 months, I think that I need an intervention. The last pair that I bought was Brash Lunma 5" wedge from Payless. They are a nice pair they have a 1 1/2" platform. I was never a big wedge fan but have worn them several times and the nice thing about them is that they dont draw a lot of unwanted att.

  4. A couple of weeks ago where I work we had a open house for out office. The service mananger and the owners wife sometimes have an issue and I told the mananger if she just stays quiet about it I would take her shoe shopping when everything is done. Well Last Friday was the day so before we went I told her that the highheel boots that I wear are womans. Her reaction was that if they are comfortable why not. So we had lunch and than we went to look for heels. I showed her a couple of pairs that I have bought and tried on a couple. She found a pair that she liked and I told her that I have the same pair of 4" peep toe heels.. It ended up to be a fun time. The only thing that i wish is that everyone would have that attitude.

  5. congrats!

now then, we can do a little better than pay less can't we??

I know what you mean but today I went to target the largest size they had was a 10 then to shoe carnival they had a couple in 11 but I need a 12-13 so no luck. Than to a full service shoe store that advertises up to size 12 and they had only men staff and when I said that I was looking for a size 12 heels for myself they told me that they dont carry any I think that they do but did not want to be bothered. So it is back to Payless. They have some shoes in the larger sizes and the staff will help me.

  6. Right now I buy almost all my heels from the Payless stores. we have 3 in our area and one of the manangers is always there to help me with heels and lets me know when new styles show up. I was at one of the stores in the mall and was trying on a pair of boots with a sales assoc. and another sales staff came over and made a comment that she really liked those heels on me. I have gone at all times and when thay have other costumors are there and never a problem

  7. waxman I have a pair of the karman pumps I bought them on sale a long time ago. I wear them in my work shop when ever I can to get more pratice with heels. and I also send in reviews to payless on most of the heels that I get and I always make mention that I am a male and to keep up the good work with the larget sizes.

  8. I came across this old post and I wear my 3" boots every ware Walmart, Menards, the printing stores usally with relaxed fit jeans so that maybe a little on the heel shows. I find that there is enough noise that no one noticed the heels. I did wear my 5 1/2" black platforms to walmart on a 10:00pm shopping trip with longer dress pant and again no one noticed but to tell you the thruth i would not know if the did I just walked like I always do and did not turn around to check out is anyone was looking

  9. I have had the same reaction at a gay bar I have 2 Pair of 5 1/2" platform heels on black one patent leather red that I have wore to the gay bar a couple of times. They know that Im straight but all are courious. but again thay dont care what I wear for shoes.

  10. I just told one of mine female friends that sells me TV advertising that lets go out for a drink after work some time. But dont freak I wear high heels and right now running around town I have on a pair of 3 1/2" boots. She said thats a deal and then we should have 2 drinks that way should could borow on of my pair. I told her that I would not get over board with the shoes maybe the boots or a pair of wedges not the 5 1/2" platforms. She said that we will need to go shoe shopping together some time.

So I dont wear them around her. I do have a couple of High heel boots in my company car usally all the time and when I can I change in to them.

  13. I came across this post. My wife does not like that I wear womans shoes. But lucky for me she is out of town 3 days a week. I am a straight male. I am in South Dakota and have to pick where I wear heels carefully. I have wore my red 4" and Red 6" platfom pumps to a local gaybar. and they dont care. I have bought most of my heels at the local payless and most of the times put them on and wore them out the store. I just bought a pair of 3" wedge pumps and with the fact that they are quiet I might wear them more. I have several pair of 3-4 womans boots non with block heels that I wear often, Its a shame that I wear them during the day but I cant enjoy it with my wife because she has a hang up on thats it is woans shoes, I told a sales staff if I wanted to dress up as a woman I would out on a sweatshirt, jogging pants, and flipfops

  14. I went to Payless last night to check out what the had in heels. I was wearing a pair of 3 1/2 boots so the 2 women working knew that I do wear heels. They were very helpful and they said that I am not the only man that comes there to buy heels. they did say though tha most of them just pick up the box of shoes and pay them and out the door they go. They made me feel very comfortable while I looked for heels. I did buy a pair of 4" open toe pumps. And when I tried them on and walked around the made a coment that I walk very good in the heels that a lot of women have trouble in 4" heels. Then they asked if I wanted them in the box or just wear them. One of the younger sales staff said that they looked very good and even made a recomadation on a pair of pants that would look good with the heels. I stayed for a couple of min. and talked about that they need to get more of a selection of larger size heels and they told me that as soon as new heels show up in the 12-13 size they are gone. post-35108-133522978738_thumb.jpg
