I have about 30 pair of heels but the shoes that I wear the most are 7 or 8 pair of 4-5" boots the rest are just for fun around the house

I did get the joke but I think it was said about Fred Astaire that while he was a great dancer we need to remember that Ginger Rogers did everything only backwards and with heels

I noticed this a while back and I thought I would give you my take on this. I looked and I see that it was dec 27 that I joined. At that Time I had a few pairs of heels 4-5" that I wore around the house but they were more of the bed room type. I did get the courage to go to Payless and buy a couple of pairs of 3" boots. I did sit out in the parking lot for a while till I was the only one there I dont know why but I did. With my boots I slowly started to wear them out more and more. After I did find out that the world did not come to and end with the heels I began to visit Payless more and more and now when I am there trying on heels i almost allways have a pair on heels on and the staff are their to show me any styles that they have in my size. Now I have gone out for a adult bev. wearing anything from a pair of 5" wedge's to a 4" stelottos boots. I have gone to supper and a movie wearing a pair of brash 5" heels and a couple of times with a pair of red 4" pumps. I have picked the timing and places that I have gone but I have never had any problems the only comment that I have had was from a couple of guys at a bar once was that I would break my neck with those on and a few comments from some ladies was that I handle the heels better than they can. I am so glad that I found this place and to know that there are a lot of us out there.

I have been working on a 50's IH pickup putting a 80's 4X4 running gear under it while wearing a pair of 4" boots or 3" pumps

I did buy a pair of Roxane boots from Payless so I thought that I would send a couple of photos. I have worn them out 3 times a couple of times to a sporst bar and once to the supermarket. At the sports bar with my pants over the shoes and I went to the supermarket with a pair of pants tucked in. It was after 9:00 at the supermarket and I did not pay any attn if anyone noticed. It was a great night. I did leave a review of the boots on the payless web site and at the time there was 4 reviews and 3 where from guys and 2 of the reviews was from members of this group. I really like the fit and look of this boot what do you think?

[i bought these a while a go. They are brash heels from payless. I have worn them a lot from sports bars to movies and a couple of times at the supermarket. I really like the fit and the look.

The only time that I had any coment about the shoes was one time I went to Payless to pick up a pair of boots that I had ordered I had them on with a pair of skinny jeans. A person could see the entire shoe. A female shopper in her 40's looked and gave a little laugh. I just went about getting my new shoes as if it was no big deal and it isn't they are just shoes.

She did ask the sales gal about it and she just said Oh we see that a lot.

I also have the same pair really like them sent a review on the payless web site. I liked them so much that I bought a second pair and with a disc got them for just $26.00

Stiettlo I hav the first pair and really like them. The pair that you need to look at is a pair called roxane. I got a pair a couple of days ago and right now they will be my new go to boots check them out

I just bought a pair of roxane boots from payless great looking boot they have a 4" stelloto heel. After a hade them on for a while I was foing to wright a review on the Pay less web site. When I checked on The reviews there where 3 of them and 2 were from male heel wears. So that when mine gets posted on one pair of boots the male reviews are 75%. It looks like there are more and more of us that have a love of heels

great story super that you did a road trip and did not have any trouble. I just bought the same pair of boots that you posted. I have only worn them a couple of times and was goint to leave a review on the payless web site and I noticed that there was a review from a guy. are you that guy. well anyway I will leave one also the fit of the boots and easy walking makes them a nice addition to a heel collection.

Just bought a pair of Jax oxfords from Playless. They have a 5 1/2 heel with about a 1" platform. The fit is great spent most ot the past 2 days wearing them at he office. Think that they will be one of my favorites.

Well i've taken the plunge and bought a pair of these ! - need more practice in them though

I have the same pair. love the look but it took a lot of pratice to wear them. I have never wore them out in public yet but I know that when I can master them I will. hope that you enjoy them as much as I have

I've had my eye on the Jax from Payless since they went up on the website but I've been trying to hold off. I think this thread is a sign I should just order them. To answer the question, yes I do like heeled oxfords. In fact they're rapidly becoming my "go to" heels. The Interest oxfords from Payless are my favorite heels right now. There are other styles from other brands I would like to get but finding them in women's US13 doesn't always work out.

Back to my reply I did not get the quote right but I have several pairs of oxfords and jus ordered the pair of jax today should have them by the end of the week will let you know how I like them. I do like a high heel and they have a 5"

If it is a stello heel I like them all but I do wear a pair of brash 5" with a platform I like the look of the 5" - 6" heel

I also like the sound I was at the dmv getting my car tags with a pair of 3" steletos with boot cut jeans. there was a 30 something gal and she gave me a look it was great. I cant tell how many times that I hear the sound that I look. I am 58 and I dont care some day I will be ground temp and I can say that i lived my life.

luvnheels I understand I have over 20 pairs my self and my wife cant stand the thought of it she thinks its weird. so its dont ask dont tell. and for the record been married 38 years and she was my first and only if you know what i mean

I was looking at old posts and i noe wear 3-4 heels almost every day and i am now 58 I am from the midwest and what i have noticed is that most of the time no one noticed what type of foot wear we have on execpt those of use that check out every one

I'm also 57, soon to be 58, and share a common interest in 5" and 6" high heels. You might try wearing them in public and see how you like it. Not trying to push you, and don't feel pressured, but once you've done it, you're hooked. Good luck!

I also wear 3-31/2 heels at work almost every day doing sales calls. Usally with boot cut jeans

They had them on good morning america last week also I think they said that the price was about 125.00 and for 2-3 different heel hights might not be a bad buy for some. but I still like my heels.

I just spent the night at a local micro brewery. with 5" platforms and no one noticed so just go for it.

Nikki, I have also found the same thing at one of the payless stores that I visit. the sales staff want to know what I like in heels and what pairs that I have. They are all very helpfull but there job is to sell shoes so why wouldn't they. But in turn I will go back and look at and buy more shoes. They also have said the same thing that you said that there are several guys that buy heels but they are in and out in a hurry.

I have gone shopping at a supermarket a lot of times in heels and several times in steletos with longer pants but the noise is so that you can hear the heels and every one is so wraped up in them selfs that they dont notice and if they do oh well

I have a question what happened to the member map I cant find it
