  1. A slim guy. Number 4 would also be my favorite to try, but I don't have the form for it. Number 5 is the most sexy for a woman. Very hot.

Bought myself a pair of leatherlook pants, to try out this look and other experiments.

  2. That would be awesome! .but just when I´m not married anymore... maybe someday!

    Nice experiences guys!

To me, one of the best feelings is when a woman notes that you´re using high heels...

NY and London certainly are places that I want to go...

From my own experience London is by far the worst city when it comes to heeling. I've been there 3 times in heels and people have been horrible every time. On the other hand I can't remember a single bad experience in Denmark, where I live.

  3. Pumps,

I also like the look of your fitted shorts and black hose with your heels. It's a great look. It might be something that I might try too!

    Happy Heeling,

    bluejay

That looks damn good! The combination of fitted shorts, hosiery and heels worked very well. Bravo to you!

Thanks guys. Now the question is will I dare go out in public like that ? I think the look might be a bit "young" for me.

  4. Pumps--good for you for experimenting with the shorts and heels AND tights look. The addition of tights makes ALL the difference here. There are a number of factors that will affect whether the look will work though, such as how tight the shorts fit around your thighs, how short they are (inseam length), how high the waist is, the color/fabric, and how much leg muscle you want to show.

What's important to you about wearing shorts with heels? Do you want to go bare legged or go with tights? If short shorts is important as possibly suggested by the length of the ones in your pic, then I might opt instead for a denim cut off with a white button down. What's interesting is when doing a google image search for "how to wear black shorts with tights and heels", I couldn't find an example where a girl wore snug short black shorts with tights, but I did find multiple images of girls wearing jean cut offs with a white button down and black tights.

    Good luck :)

    Thanks for your advice,KH

It was actually intentional that I choose the black ones, as jeans-shorts, black hose and sneakers is pretty much the fashion for young girls around here and I didn't want to emulate girls half my age too much. I will continue to experiment and I may even go bare legged as I shave them for cycling (well not only for that).

Jimnj3 and Shafted, your comments are appreciated.

  5. We have Jedward again!! We, in Ireland, used to take it seriously up until about the late 90s. Now it is a bit of a laugh. Always a good laugh listening to Graeme Norton doing the commentary on it.

Yup, now you stopped winning it's because you don't care anymore. It's certainly NOT because you're entries are just not good enough. :penitent:

  6. Anybody here have a problem with high bloodpressure ? I did take some medicine once because of headaces as a result of high bloodpressure, but it's been a while since I stopped. Once in a while I can get headaces, so I bought a blood pressure monitor, but the values were quite normal . I have noticed that I often get headaces up to heeling events, so today I went shopping in a pair of pumps, which I haven't tried since I moved back to Denmark. Upon return home I tested my blood pressure and It was the highest I have measured at 174/94. I don't even feel that I'm getting nervous anymore, so I can only imagine what the values would be back when I did. Could it really be that heeling is the cauce of my high blood pressure ?

  7. Nice look. Very masculine. I like it!!!

Now that's a sharp looking outfit, my friend. Something like that I would most definitely like to try out for myself. Thanks for giving me ideas! Heh!

I'll second this Pumps. Nice outfit. This look works.

Thanks guys. I would love to post the whole picture with my niece, but that wouldn't be right of me.

  8. Well done JeffB. Nice outfit. It's also pretty cool that you got compliments from teenagers as they normally don't do much but giggle and take pictures with their cellphones. My niece is 13 and she seems pretty ok with my heels.

  9. I thought long and hard about it and I really don't want attention, but on the other hand if nothing happens there's really nothing to tell you guys about. I recently took another theater trip, this time also with my niece along. I went to a restaurant and the theater and no bad reactions at all in fact I didn't even notice anyone take notice of my shoes. Kinda cool, but also not much to tell.

  10. That model Klara Wester can make anything look good, so yeah! If I could look as good as her, of course I'd order from all the way over the Atlantic Ocean from Gina Tricot and find someone local in Scandinavia to ship to me. Alas, I'm here in the states and will stick with ordering from ASOS who ships to the U.S. Thanks for the tip though.

They probably have some stores near you though...

Actually that wasn't what I meant. You'd probably be much better than me to shop for something like that, anyway. It was more because I wanted to know if it was something like those very short models you were going to wear. I think they look great, but I don't know if that's something I could pull off.

Attached is a pic from my latest theater trip.

  11. And the theme of making an effort brings me to my next point: creating looks for summer. My dream is to wear shorts with pumps in a "sexy & androgynous" way. And that outfit is a white blazer, a pair of white shorts, a black button down oxford, and black heels. Now I'm going to spend the time researching the best possible options online and take both the blazer and shorts (which will be high waisted) to a tailor to make sure they conform as good as possible to my unique body shape. There is no doubt in my mind the outfit will work. The only limitation will be the one I allow fear to indulge itself with.

What shorts would you wear. Womens short or mens longer ?

I think they have some cool shorts here:

Heels with those shorts would definetely get some looks

  12. I love this look, think I might try this. You are right kneehighs, it is great advise to look at how females put together their outfit on a daily basis and take inspiration. The looks you have suggested here would be perfect for a guy to try.

A slim guy. Number 4 would also be my favorite to try, but I don't have the form for it. Number 5 is the most sexy for a woman. Very hot.

  13. Just wondering, not at all trying to offend anybody, but I was just wondering... who here wears heels in public as part of their daily life versus those who go out heeling on occasion and considers them "outings"???

Both. I wear heels normally when shopping and stuff, but I also try to find stuff to do more or less as an excuse to wear heels. You might say heels makes me go out more.

  14. I've always thought I didn't want attention and always hated to be laughed at, but recently I've been wearing heels a lot without getting any attention to speak of and I'm beginning to find it a bit boring, so I was beginning to wonder if I really DO want attention. How about you ?

  15. Generally speaking, us Brits don't take the Eurovision at all seriously. This is because we have a very strong musical culture. In any country in Europe you will find that at least half of the songs in the charts are recorded in English even if they aren't British bands. Most European teenagers will have at least one album of a British band whereas it would be very rare to find anyone living outside of Latvia say, who will have an album from a Latvian group.

    Our entry is Englebert Humperdink!

Brits doesn't take it seriously because it's becoming more and more evident that the succes of british music is only due to the language and not the quality of the music, since it's been a while since we've seen a winner from the UK. So ofcourse it's easier just to say: It's because we just don't care. Sort of like the US and soccer.
