I am pretty sure that I will be changing from maybe to for sure! Just need to know what others are doing as far as Friday? Are people coming in on Thursday night if out of town and spending the whole day on Friday together doing stuff? Or are most coming in Friday night and then hanging out together on Friday night and all day Sat. I will be driving and it is a good 12 hrs for me to get there. Then have to leave on Sunday to get home. Looking forward to strutting in my heels with all of you! Bernheels

It can be an informal meet if any one is interested. If at least 4 or 5 people show interest we can proceed. I hope y'all can maake it. Some great stores I know that cater to size 10 and 11.

I will be basically on call if I can make it. Have you had enough response to schedule - or will you plan another time. I would love to meet you all and wear my heels - but have to take care of business 1st.

Let me know whatthe status is. I may not be able to do a whole weekend - but could make one day. If someone wants to meet just for a dinner one night - or something like that - maybe that would work.

I "lost" a bet with the office manager here so I have to wear heels for a week. She said that I couldn't handle it. So it's going to be a rough work week! I guess when I show up in a different pair every day it might give me away.... <grin>

I agree - I purchase all my heels - try many of them on at the store. I have found that the sales people know that you are looking for womens heels when you are a man in the womens shoe department. Might as well just try them on - they don't mind - it's all a sale to them.

I never did identify any quantities: These are aprox numbers to hard to count all my heels - they are everywhere in my house and car:

Over 200 pairs of high heel shoes of some style or another

30 pairs of high heel boots

10 pairs of guy cowboy boots - some with 3-4 inch stacked heels

10 pairs of "plain old" guy shoes

I have purchased all of my shoes, since I’m a CD it helps to have a nice pair of heels when I go out . I don’t try them on at the store, but most stores have a great return or exchange policy.

I voted for the 3rd category - feminie heels in the mens separtment. Not really sure where this poll is going or meant to go. I wear womens heels because I love the look and feel of wearing high heels. Mens shoes are so boring. I would wear heels all the time if I did not have to worry about my job. I do not want to look like a women - to athletic build for that. But I love the feminine side of feeling sexy and good in high heels. Bernheels

Hi Celeste, I do not see much activity for this heel meet. Must be the time of year? Are you still going thru with it? I will be a maybe - it all depends on what my work schedule is and where I will be traveling. Honestly - Wheeling is a bit of a stretch for my customer base. I agree with all that it's the personal space that we go to in our brains as we wear our heels that counts. I have many styles for many moods that keep me happy in my heels.

I will start a thread iin the future that deals with wearing heels outside. I have boots that I wear around our firepit on the weekends. The heels are spiked and 5 inch high. The black leather covering has been worn down to expose the fiberglass heel underneath. That's OK since they are my outside - at home boots. Some would think why destroy such a beautiful pair of boots? Well - I don't consider them destroyed - I say that they are conditioned to wear I am wearing them. They will be my work boots for around the house!

More on that later.

I typically wear a size 10 Wide for men - size 11 normal in womens sizes. Some 11's are a bit snug - but I get them anyway. I have noticed over the years of buying and wearing womens heels - that they seem to have made an 11 larger than what it used to be. I am happy about that! Bernheels

The attached heels below are a few of the girlier heels that I have. I have many and had a hard time saying which ones are more girly. I love all styles and wear different ones for different occasions.

I have been shaving my legs for about 10 years now. I love it and so does my wife. If anyone asks- I tell them that my skin gets irritated when I use our hot tub and haveto use a special cream - easier without hair. Other than that no issues. I do love the feel of freshly shaved legs with a nice cream applied after. I will never go back the other way. Thanks, Bernheels

I used to buy on line - but now I am 100% at the stores. I wear a size 11 female and it seems that more ladies shoe stores are carrying the larger sizes in the sexy styles. I go to DSW - Shoe Carnival - Kohls - Maceys - Payless (getting sexier shoes now). I love the clearance racks at DSW. Many sexy styles at 1/2 the price. Try them on right there. I first went public in a busy supermarket in some cowboy boots with 2.5" heels under jeans. I was petrified and pushed a shopping cart in front of me to sort of hide a bit. Of course nobody noticed or commented. After I did this a couple more times I decided to try out my 4" stiletto boots which I'd only used in the house and in "deserted car parks late at night." First I took a round in the supermarket with the cowboy boots to "warm up" my courage, then went back to the car and changed in the stilettos and went back into the supermarket. It was uneventful but I was as high as kite. That was nearly 18 months ago and it's just been fun and positive experiences since.

I bought the attached boots at DSW in the womens section. They have a 3 inch plus heel and I removed the little belt - to make them more like guys with a higher heel. I wear them all the time now. My wife was a little nervous at first and now she has accepted them as my norm. I also wear them on my Harley and now have the tan and dark burgandy color.

They are very light and very comfortable. I have other boots - but have not worn the spike heels by myself in public. I have worn my 5 1'2" spike heeled boots to the latest Canton Heel meet we had in June. That was awesome.

Hi Bern,

Passed by on I196 on tuesday evening and again on wednesday afternoon. My day ran really late on tuesday with incredible back up in traffic on the route as well as oppressive heat; when I passed Saugatuck it was in the middle of a massive thunderstorm, yikes. So unfortunately I did not get a chance in western Michigan but did have a fun evening with friends on wednesday night in Chicago out and about on Halstead and Broadway Streets; had cooled down to a respectable high 70's on wednesday evening. Was able to wear the 5 inch stiletto heel Little Shoe Box black leather thigh Boots out for the evening; over white dressage jodhpurs.

Glad you were able to wear heels in Chicago! Let me know next time you are iin Chicago - I may be able to meet you there and do some struting! I have some new boots that would be great for heeling.

Just bought anew pair of Pumps at Payless this is by the brand Brash.

They are advertised as having a 5 inch heel, but in my size 12 the heel is 6 inches tall. They fit great and are comfotable to wear. I was surprised to see how well they are made. At $35.00 they are a steal.
