I can relate to the issue of sales people at women shoe stores not knowing what the real size values are. I went to Aldo's at the mall. They have some very sexy shoes and tall heels. I love them. But they only go to size 10 womens. The sales gal told me that 41 was the same as size 11. I told her that 43 was that size and that they did not have any. She just wanted to make a sale regardless if they were the wrong size. I am glad that I have purchased european sizes in the past - Italian Heels - and know what fits. The youth of today Bernheels

That is an awesome - very positive heel story. Nice to hear that there are open minded people out there that appreciate and accept men in heels. I went to Payless yesterday wearing my 4 1/2" wood stacked tapered heel anle side zipped boots. Felt great and the gals there know that I wear high heels and help me find new ones whenI visit. They did not have anything new and the young gal made it a point to tell me that they had a new shipment coming in on Monday. I loved walking around in public in my boots. Bernheels

I wish I could wear some of the heels that Aldo has. They do not go to size 43 - which is what I would need. What size do you wear?

Italian heels have great shoes. I have about 7 pairs from them and wear a size 11 female in US and 43 with Italian Heels. They are very well made and sexy too. Bernheels

Great looking boots with jeans. Nice to hear that your wife goes along with you wearing high heels in public. Mine allows me to wear them at home but not in public with her. I do wear them by myself at times when I go shoe shopping. I love it.

All I wear in womens shoes must have heels of some sort. Some are higher than others - but I love the look of the heel.

Wow - I am so glad that I started this thread. It is great to hear all the other stories about what started other guys to wear high heels. for so long I thought I was the only one. Now I know that there are others that enjoy wearing high heels as much as I do. It is great to see the trend for guys to wear high heels. i can tell when I go to the shoe store that other guys are doing the same thing. There are no surprised looks on the lady sales people when I buy heels in a size 11. They compliment me on my choice in heels. How exciting. I love the feeling of buying new heels and I love all the new styles out there. Walk on

Gary 0618: i love the story! I ride a Harley too and love to wear high heel cowboy boots at times. I purchased a pair of 4 inch custom cowboy boots that I will wear when I am in the mood. I have gotten a few looks but who is going to mess with a guy on a Harley:) Bernheels

SimCity 3: Isn't it crazy how they become so addicting? I love the smell of real leather new high heels. You can smell that rich leather smell as soon as you open the box. I love the look of the heel and the 1st time you slide that nylon covered heel into the sexy shoe. yummmmmmm I have purchased 6 new pair in the past week from Shoe Carnival! They are definately becoming my favorite local store for sexy shoes. They get new styles every couple of weeks. Bernheels

I have been wearing high heels for the last 42 years. I started when I was in puberty. My sister always had high heels in her closet and my mother hung her heels "IN" my closet. I tried my mom's heels on one day and have been hooked ever since. When I out grew my mom's heels I started wearing my sisters heels. Then I started wearing my mom's hose with her heels - yum. I can't imagine how much I have spent on high heels during my lifetime. I have over 400 pairs now and buy more every week. I am 56 now and will always wear high heels. What started all the other guys?? Bernheels

Hey great experience! I went to Payless on Sunday just before they closed. Tried on a couple of pairs of pumps and wedges. Felt great to walk around and try on the different styles. The gals just watched and smiled. When I checked out one of the pairs wasn't a wide width and I asked the one gal if they had them in wide. She ran over to the display counter and said she just put them out there. She handed them to me - I tried them on and then bought both pairs. I loved it and so did they. Yes to just doing it! I have over 300 pairs and climbing. I love to buy the new styles at all the stores. I have from 4 inch to 8 inch pikes with platforms. I love my 5 1/2 extreme style heels. They are so comfortable. I love the animal prints and snake skin pumps. Bernheels

I love your story. What do you tell the sale people when they ask why you are buying heels for yourself? I did it once in PayLess and loved it. One gal walked by a couple of times and never said anything. I want to do more - but really get nervous.
