  1. My wife has grown more and more accepting over time. Just the other night we discussed a pair of lower heeled navy blue office shoes that she doesn't wear any more. I was saying how much I liked them and she said: "you can have them".

When I got home from work tonight she had taken them from her wardrobe and put them by my side of the bed! If that's not accepting then I don't know what is!

These are the shoes - I'm wearing them now. Only a 2" heel, but I love court shoes and they feel great on.

  3. Had a great evening out with my wife last week. We both wore tights as we often will on a night out. She wore medium heel, closed toe mules, whilst I wore regular men's slip on shoes. As the film commenced she took off her shoes and rubbed her foot against my leg which was the signal for me to slip her shoes on. This has happened a couple of times previously but this time it was at the beginning of the film and she let me wear them for the whole film. They were bought from Clarks last year for a wedding and although they're not high, they feel wonderful. Here they are:

On the way home, she suggested that we fulfill one of my fantasies by going for a walk in heels. She had bought an old pair of her heels with her for me to wear. They are a little dated now (about 10 years old, navy blue suede, 3" heels) but they hold special memories for us as at the time she bought them they were the highest heels she had ever owned (we've put that right since!).

    Here are some (poor) pictures

The walk was only about 10 minutes long, but it was a special evening as I felt it was another step to her accepting my desire to wear high heeled ladies shoes

  4. This is a quote from the "For Everybody" "Let's get to know each other" thread from October last year regarding a shop in Taunton.

The shop your both interested in is called Platform1 (tel: 01823 412345), ands its on Corporation St opposite the bingo hall, its run by a very pleasant husband and wife team who I've spoken to on numerous occasions. As the name suggests its mainly platforms but she does have some stilleto boots and shoes though I haven't bought any yet. I went in with my friend when we were shopping, where she bought some boots.

She says the ones she got are great and that I should've got a pair as well, instead of wearing stilleto ones all the time. No thanks!!

  5. My wife was looking for some pale pink shoes to wear at a wedding (to match a new dress).

We stumbled across these at River Island. Reduced from £45 to £20. When we got to the cash desk they'd been reduced further to only £10! What a bargain - they're leather, they match her dress perfectly and as they're a size 8 (albeit a EUR41 so not a true 8 in my book) you can see I couldn't resist trying them on too! Indeed I have promised my wife that as they're a little tight, I'd help her break them in by wearing them for a few evenings before the wedding! It's a hard job but someone's got to do it so I (not very!) reluctantly agreed.

I'm sure they'd fit Julie perfectly Yam so get looking around the River Island branches near you.

  6. My wife was sceptical at first, but she is OK now. She has actually bought 3 pairs of heels for me and has kind of promised that instead of waiting for Christmas I may get another pair for our wedding anniversary next week. She is a bit more circumspect about outside though and at the moment she has only consented to me once walking from the car to our front door in her heels late one night. However we are away for our anniversary next week and who knows she may allow me to go a bit further as there's no danger of anyone we know seeing us.

  7. Wow! What can I say Julie. They look fantastic - especially the denim Raid sandals - the same as mine. Inspires me to want to wear them - probably only around the house though as I'm not brave enough to wear something as feminine as this outside. I find them really comfortable - how about you? Thanks for the wonderful updates - keep them coming.

  8. My wife bought me my first heels last year for my birthday, another pair for Christmas and my 3rd pair last week for my birthday. I said that I would now need to wait until Christmas for another pair and she said: "Oh no, that's too long - I'll get you some for our anniversary in July!". Things are really looking up!

  9. Here's a better picture:

Incidentally my wife also bought a pair of toeless 7 Denier tights for me to wear with them from M&S. They look really nice - shame my toes aren't a bit nicer!

They'd be great for anyone who likes the feel of stockings on their legs and also wants painted nails. (your friend Julietta?)

  10. ....but I do have pair 2 in the denim version and they are really comfortable. They are one of 2 plats that I have bought from Additions and I have to say they look really nice on and I really don't like plats all that much.

Shoes havn't arrived yet, but she has had some problems securing her first choice, so from her description it sounds like I'm getting the denim plats too. Glad you've already roadtested them!

  11. It's my birthday this week and my wife has promised to buy me a pair of strappy sandals to go with my slingbacks (birthday last year) and court shoes (Christmas).

We've narrowed it down to 2 pairs from Argos Additions. Which ones do you like best:

  12. Mine are a size UK8 (42 Eur) and I paid £25 for them in the sale. I didn't see them in any larger sizes. I don't know if Faith themselves do mail order, but they are available in a number of other outlets - eg Debenhams and Argos Additions who both do mail order. Don't know if they carry this style though.

  13. Another www.bigfeetdirectory.co.uk sale in Croydon this weekend:

DO JOIN US FOR OUR "ONE OFF GRAND SALE"AT THE

    “FAIRFIELD HOTEL, CROYDON”

    ON

    SAT 8TH FEB,10AM TILL 2.45PM.

    MANY ITEMS 1/2 PRICE.

They don't have any really high heels, but some of their current collection is quite nice and they are available in sizes up to UK11. Apparently they are having a big clearout of boots so there maybe something worthwhile there.

  14. Ooh Julietta! I love that classy look! For me there is nothing better than seeing a woman in a classy business suit, with sheer stockings and high heels. If the look was completed by wearing sophisticated glasses, I would just melt! I'm off for a lie down! Smudgeur
