  1. Hi, being new to the forum and having only posted 3 or 4 photos (and love having my photo taken), I was wondering what sort of poses appealed most to the high-heel afficiando?

Love to hear your ideas, or see examples of your faves.

    :D

    Hi Ellen-Jay

Welcome to the board and thanks already for sharing with us some of your lovely shoes. The following picture of the wonderful Gina illustrates perfectly what I like best: high heels, stockings and specs - a wicked combination! However we are all different and this may not be everyone's cup of tea. We'd just be delighted to see whatever shoes you have to offer.

    Take care

  2. Never done this as we're both the same size! (UK8 Eur 42) - therefore we buy one pair and share. It's great for going out - quite a few times she's worn high heel mules to the cinema or theatre and when the lights go out I feel her foot rub up my leg which is a signal for me to slip her shoes on.

  3. You might want to go along to this today. You can see some of their styles here: www.bigfeetdirectory.co.uk

  4. I have several styles of frames - one very "secretarial" with thin black frames and thin oblong lenses. I also have a "stodgy manageress pair" in heavy tortoiseshell horn-rims, and another pair the total opposite - my "Glen Miller" rimless ones which, if I keep the lenses very clean, hardly looks as if I am wearing glasses. Also I have a middle-of-the road gold-rimmed pair and a similar pair of fancier gold adornment running both ways from the hinges, and a similar pair to the gold-rimmed ones but in the more modern thin-black-wire finish. I've kept a few pairs of my sixties and seventies pairs in the evocative styles of the day ("Nana Mouskouri", "Michael Caine", Dame Edna Everidge" etc. etc, but the prescriptions are very out-of-date on those.

    Hi Lucy

Thanks for the reply I am as envious about your frame collection as your shoes! I am quite partial to the styles of the late 70s/early 80s myself - particularly the "drop temple" style (upside down type glasses that many ladies wore during that period). Did you ever have any of those?

If you ever want to sell any of your old frames, I'm a bit of a collector so would be delighted to buy them from you. Send me a personal message if you're interested.

    Kind regards

  5. Lucy I have been delighted to read your stories - especially as you mention glasses quite a lot - these, along with heels, seemed to have played a significant part in your life. Glasses and heels are my dual fascinations, to find a woman who regularly wears both is wonderful - especially as you are London based like myself. I will be keeping an eye out for the bespectacled and heeled beauty next time I walk down Oxford Street and Bond Street! Do you still regularly wear glasses? If so what style and prescription? Many thanks Smudgeur

  6. Awesome. My favorites are the last pair: the silver one. They seem to be an interesting combination pump/slingback/sandal.

    Keep it coming.

Mine too Gina - they're awesome, where are they from? You look fantastic as always - shame no glasses pictures though :D

  7. My wife and I wear the same size (8UK Eur42) and she lets me share her heels. Only around the house really, but that's more due to our combined nervousness about being spotted. I once wore a pair of 3" heels going for a short walk with her one night. I have also twice swapped shoes with her in the cinema for the duration of the film. I also did this once at the theatre for a play.

  8. Hi

My wife is searching for a pair of plain black court shoes (pumps) - they must be plain - no stitching, buckles, straps or other decorations.

She would prefer a squarer style of toe design and a blade or blocky heel, no higher than 4" (3 1/2" would be her preference)

    I like these from Fuss

But clearly the heel is too high on both models.

Has anyone got any suggestions from looking around the shops or the internet?

We are in the UK and as she is a UK8 (EUR42) she would prefer to try on rather than buy online.

Any help or advice gratefully accepted.
