So I was pondering.... My wife had the idea of doing a gender swap wedding with me in white. I now have awhole new idea. Going Goth. I've got the floor length goth skirt, I'm getting the corset, but would very point stilletto boots go with this outfit?

also i wear the mules while at home because they are the hardest to balance and walk in so it gives me much more practice and ability

Hi there highheeltrained, It's sure strange that you want to be permanently high heeld with 5,5" heels. I Also wear 5,5" heels (Highest Heel Collection Brazil pump) mostly when I'm home, I can walk comfortably in them without having problems going flat foot.

What is so amazing about human physiology is the suppleness we can achieve in joints. I would say that you can be comfortable in 5,5" and some people in 6" while still able to revert back to flat feet. Just have a look around. A lot of ladies are able to do the switch very comfortable. The key might be to stretch all the foot muscles....

So my wife came up with an idea that this year with our fancy dress party we should go as a bridal couple with the difference that she'll be the groom and I'll be the bride. Now my mind went haywire as the only heels I own are all black and white dress doesn't equal black shoes any idea what shoes would look nice for a blushing bride with at lease a 3"-4" heel?

Yep we put someone on the counter and strike them several time..... I don't like counterstrike personally would rather play Rainbow 6 Vegas or Call of Duty 2 or Quake. Lately it's been Titan Quest Immortal Throne......

AHEM! So sorry, TLJakes, but you seem to have missed a very important point. In reality, it is not men who are invading the women's domain. On the contrary, it was women who have invaded and taken over the domain of men. Only now that men, like myself, are seeking to reassert ourselves and take back what was rightly ours in the first place, the women are up in arms about it!

Well as far as I'm concerned, that's just too bad. When women quit wearing men's clothing and start becoming more feminine - they'll start being more becoming. In the meanwhile, I'll be coming to the the stores to buy heels and skirts and anything else that suits me.

What you said is absolutely true, but through the eyes of the modern women, skirts, heels, hose,wigs and makeup are theirs, without question, so we'll leave it at that secretly knowing that it's the male of the species in nature that's the most flamboyant and most colorful

You know the old argument many women has that heels just don't look good on men, and that men shouldn't wear skirts or any other female garment for that matter? We'll I have a theory about the whole issue they have with men invading fashion previously known to be a women's only domain. It goes like this: When women started to invade politics and the male dominated work arena and decided that they could also have a career. Men where heavily opposed to the idea. Or at least most of the men where opposed to the idea. Men felt afraid about this new threat that is busy invading their domain and they reacted negatively to the changes women where looking for. Men felt they would now be seen as lesser men. Women persisted and men just had to fall in or fall out. Now the seasons are changing and women are facing the opposite of the coin. Men are starting to invade what women thought is their domain. Men are invading their fashion, women as men before them are afraid of this new threat and also feel that if men are starting to wear things women proclaimed their own, they will now be seen as lesser women. I predict that men will persist and the traditional idea that heels and skirts for women only will leave women resisting change with the decision to either fall in or fall out...... Let's hope their vanity will survive, (No pun intended)

This is some very cool news, as you don't find a lot of articles or photo's of his styles on the net. I think he's got great vision. I would just like to see a lot more of his work on runways and in shops.......

I hate to say it, and I hope somebody else on this site can prove me wrong, but I think you are kidding yourself that you have any choice at all.

Talk it through with her. Try and maintain boundaries that she finds acceptable.

Personally, I would stay way from emotional blackmail by saying “If you love me, then you must love my shoes” because that just not fair to her.

Say you love her and you will respect her decision because ultimately, the decision is hers and not yours.

Well I agree on mostly everything you said. But due to the fact that this isn't something that's going to disappear out of your life, you can't get rid of it (don't care how much you love her) and think you would never long to wear another high heel EVER again. That just won't happen. She will need to accept that it's a part of you that will be there till the day you die. If she tells you to choose between her and your heels, she is not the right person to spend your life with. People that really love each other can find common ground with compromises from both sides and not just the one.

Tough choice though as you can't live without women or high heels.......

80's arcade nerd, never thought about that till you mentioned it. You could clasify me in the same catagory. I started playing games when it was still the little white block on the black TV screen that you had to hit with a lon white stripe. I only have PS and PS2 but mainly use my PC for gaming. Now and again I'll dust off some classics and play them on the consoles. Any type of fighting game or racing game is just better on consoles.........
