i agree with you. I live in the duplex, my bedroom is on the 2nd floor, the 1st floor is semi office designed living room, kitchen, washroom..etc. I would say it just a habit whenever I step out of my bedroom, I have to have proper clothes and shoes on, especially I often have guests and colleagues over my place. I often wear highheel pump and boots with my proper clothes or suits, especially high heel boots. For exercise and training, I think the first thing she must have is a pair of highheel pumps or boots. I suggest boots because boots are more supportive and protective. Practice walking on the treadmill in front of the mirror can help alot with the posture. While working behind my desk, I ocassionally place two squeeze balls under my desk. Squeeze ball can be purchased from any gym equipments stores. Then step on them repeatly as if stepping on the gaspedal. This kind of execise could help you to strengthen your calf muscles. And also dancing in heels can be a good exercise as well.

I guess I am lucky enough to have my aunt. She wears heels often, especially highheel boots. WHen i was younger, I tried on her boots, but he feet was bigger. Now we both size are 9, its nice we can swap shoes and boots once a while, as she is more into classic styles. For my collection, I have over 60 pairs of boots, calf high, knee high, and even thigh high, I have more knee boots, since i wear them for my daily routine and 30 pairs of shoes which are pumps mostly as well as sandles. I enjoy weairng leather fashion and boots. It helps me to feel more dominant. Being the footwear of choice in a female dominated society, boots were an obvious symbol of power and also a convenient tool for stomping. I feel sexy and powerful when I put on leather. This helps my more aggressive personality to come out. It helps me to get into the right attitude especially I am the office manager. I must confess that a leather outfit helps to fuel my dominant attitude. A Leather on a woman does convey a confident, take charge, sexual imagery.

As our office is predominated by the female, I would say most of us do love wearing high heels, especially boots. I and other department managers decided to have a day where we all wearing boots to work. Since we already have Friday as our casual dress day, we think Thursday shall be designated for boots day. By uniform our dress code for one day per week, it is a good idea to increase morale, coherence and team sprits in the office. Boots shall be worn with business skirt suits, the length of the skirts shall depend on the height of the boots. The color of the boots must be dressed accordantly to the suits. There will be 3 classes, Office ladies (junior level clerks) shall wear knee high boots. Office ladies (senior level clerks and above) shall wear knee high boots, boot chains, decorations, spurs or insignias shall be worn to indicate the seniority. Supervisor ladies shall wear above the knee boots. Boot chains, decorations, spurs or insignias shall be worn to indicate the seniority as well. Manager ladies shall wear thigh high boots. Once again boot chains, decorations, spurs or insignias shall be worn to indicate the seniority. The boot heels for all 3 classes shall be no less than 3.5 inches up to maximum 5.5 inches( stiletto or spike). Pointy toes are highly recommended for all classes. When I was a student driver, I often worn my high heel boots and practice with 2 orange size air filled rubber balls perhaps alittle bigger than a orange. With the rubber balls under my bootsoles, rolling the balls and place them under my bootsoles and boottoes properly and apply pressure then release. I can get use to the position of pivoting my bootheels. Perhaps it might help for those new drivers who love wearing high heels.

i don't know what kind of car you drive, but some car seats can be adjusted properly for high heels wearer. i love my x5, besides I'd put a nice fur rug on the floor, it protects the bootheels as i rock my boots. on the other hands, i dont think he has right to tell you to remove your shoes.

That is the trick that I am able to walk and stand for long hours in my 5" stiletto boots. Another trick is soft rubber mat, rug or carpet, but the rubber mat get torn under my boots quickly. I prefer animals fur rugs which would totally protect my boots from any scratch. One of my friends works in retail and it helps her alot.

Hey sister just wondering hows your valentine day? This cute janitor really surprised us. I came to work in the morning 8am, I stepped into the office and immediately I felt somethings squishy under my D&G boots, i turned on the light and realized I was standing on many roses. He bought us chocolates too, how sweet! We were pretty busy during the day, walking back and forth in the office, meeting and presentation too. By the end of the days, most of the roses were squished flatly and stuck on the floor. The janitor showed up at 5pm, hope he didnt had a hard time to clean the floor. lol... On my way out to the parking lot, I left my red bootprints on the snow..how sexy!

I just had the same situation. The so called hardwood floor of the duplex condo I rent in Montréal already covered with many dents. It turned out, the landlord used the poor grade hardwood floor and trying to blame it on me for wearing high heel boots at home. I found that its unacceptable and ready sue him but he back down and agreed to replace all of them in a month. Don’t mess with girls in high heel boots!

Fashion should be about self-expression, not worrying about what pleases men. If they don't like it that's too damn bad. Fashion helps you feel more confident and look even better. High heel boots are a must have in any wardrobe. It sort of gives you the extra oomph and confidence to feel a 1000%, you really feel like a model, confident tall strong and sexy.

It is our office tradition that everyone wear high heel boots to the office, especially in the winter. I’ve overheard that the janitors had hard time to take care the hardwood floor, and they have to spend more time and effort on them. Every once a while and they need to be refinished or even replaced. The heel dents are mainly concentrated on areas such as under our desks , photocopier machine and high traffic area like entrances and exits. The janitors suggested that to replace the hardwood floor by tiles, but none of us would agree that suggestion. First the janitors want to do less work and it is not going to happen. Secondly concrete, tiles and stone floor...etc. wear out our boot heels easier despite metal heels or not. I am sure none of us wants our boots got damaged. Lately they are putting carpets on certain areas as mentioned above, and a nice soft rug under our desk for each one of us.

As a business lady, I am more concerned about the footwear styles available for wear to work as well as the style of fashions. I usually invest in more high heel boots for work because these days the business needs might require footwear that are dressy especially in the admin or management . High heel boots not only show my authority position in work but also define me as a assertive person. Getting dressed up……work’s almost as good as Friday night out. Poise and elegance is symbolic for every business woman, no matter at home or not. I will never dress down for a min especially living in the mansion with servants around. I never dress down in front of the servants as well as in the work place NEVER dress down in front of my subordinates, otherwise you will give them a wrong impression because there is a level difference between us. The only time I dress down is in my bedroom, it becomes a habit since I was child. During the weekday I dress up into my business skirt or pant suits with my leather knee boots to go to work, when I come home, the servant would clean and polish my boots especially in winter, it is not really friendly to my boots. I usually remain the same dress before I go to bed. On weekend I’d dress a bit casual with my jeans over or tug into my knee high or OTK leather boots, blouses,, v neck or turtle neck sweater with a nice leather coat or jacket for a feminine look. And finally matched with a perfect hairstyle and make up, one can melt the snow. Occasionally, for riding and hunting day, I’d dress into my English riding outfits with traditional riding boots or leather high heel boots when I feel naughty.

The gray skies, the filthy snow banks, the slushy salt all over my suv. Nice weather huh… Everyday, before I go to work I must visit this coffee shop for my favour break. I pull over on the side of the road, jump out of my suv, I step out of the car and look down realize my expensive leather knee boots just landed in a half-inch of frozen slush. I am going to sustain some serious white salt stains on my boots but those butter soft leather inner lining really keep my feet warm. Each step I intentionally dig my 5” metal stiletto heels on the icy road for a good anchor since those are leather soles. Eventually I made it to the coffee shop, look down at my boots are already covered with muddy slush and white salt stain. NO WAY! I love my boots and they are part of my business outfits. As I walk into the coffee shop, I look for anything available on the floor for my boots to wipe on. I jump on this clean dry carpet wipe my bootsoles on it few times before I take my seat. This weather, the poor janitor will be very busy to clean the floor and change the carpet. This shoe shine guy already spot me since I get out of my suv, he would ask me if I need my boot shine. I get my coffee and finally I can sit down crossing my bootlegs and relax reading my magazine while he kneels on the floor besides my boots and starts working. First he uses a little brush to remove the grits and salt accumulated on the gap between the leather soles and the leather, then use warm water and soft cloth to wipe my boots few times until the dirts are completely removed from the leather and dry. Next step is applying shoe polish for the whole boots, he has to be careful not to mess my stocking. Buffing with the dry kiwi cloths, my boots come to shine again. Last step is the boot soles, I simply rise my ankle and allow him to work on my boot sole as I crossing my bootlegs . He then uses the brush, warm water and cloth to clean the leather sole. When one boot is done, I uncross and cross my bootlegs to let him work on other. For a good boot polishing, it will take an hour. I must say I really enjoy it, its just like massage very addictive.

A pair of black leather knee-high boots is standard office attire these days, it's a very professional look and they serve their function accessorizing the business suit with an added sense of confidence. These cold days, i would put on my legging with my high heel leather boots, with a nice skirt wrap around my waist.

When I was high school few years back, I often worn tight jeans or riding judpurs tucked into my leather high heel knee boots or OTK boots, sometimes i put on my spurs too. On top I wear white blouse with nice leather jacket or equestrian jacket. I do that usually on Thursday or Friday. The school teachers knew that I am the equestrian team, so they don't bother me at all. Other than that, I do wear jeans and high heel boots often to school. Alicia

sometimes i feel powerful to have a piece of nice fur rug under my leather high heel boots. I just love the feeling walking on the fur rugs or carpets, they are not only protect my boots from being scuffed or scratched but it's like also walking on somethings under my boots that used to be alive.
