  1. Not counting 'western' boots with with about a 1" or so heel on a few occasions I have never seen a guy wearing heels except for when they might try heels on at a party mucking around ... and they never fit anyway so it is not as though they could actually walk around in them. I live in Perth Australia. Maybe men wearing high heels has not made it here yet .... or I go to the wrong parties and clubs. Christine.

  2. Wow ... a lot of guys wearing heels. Of the 39 posts to this discussion only 1 is a girl (not counting this 40th post of mine). My first heels of my own were a pair of white slides with cross-over red and blue (seriously) toe straps about 1/2" wide when I was 14 and I begged my mum to get them for me and then I tried to wear them to the local agricultural show which was sort of fun but sort of a bit of a disater. The show and sideshows were on a grassed oval ... not the best for heels, especially when you are not experienced in heels. My two friend had worn heels too. In the end it was fun and that was the main thing. These were not the first I had worn as I had worn friend heels before this. Christine.

  3. First of all. The shoes in your pic are absolutely beautifull, is that you wearing them. Strange Since I started wearing HHS driving my car I do not want to wear anything under 4".

Yes. That is me wearing them. They are C'est Bon bought from Rivers. I love them and wish I had bought an extra pair.

    Christine.

  4. They are my C'est Bon and are my current favourites. They were not even expensive ($99.95) but I really like them. They are almost a slide but they have the heel cup at the back and it has this elastic strip across the back of it that keeps your foot (heel) in the shoe. It works really well. They are so light. I love them. They go awesome with a pair of blue jeans. Well I think so anyway. Christine.

  5. Wow ... so many of the answers in this list are from guys. One of the top 3 things I miss about working in the city is being able to wear heels to work. It is pretty awesome being able to wear seriously sexy heels to the office. It makes even simple things like going the kitchen/meals room or going to meetings just that little bit special. The other two things I miss ... nice coffee and being able to go shopping at lunch times. Christine.

  6. When I first started driving I tried driving a few times in heels because it felt so sexy but now I mostly don't. I really don't feel as safe a driver driving in heels and driving sort of worries me even when I do feel safe. I am sort of a nervous driver. Last year when I was working in the city I would wear thongs (called flip flops I think in the US) or sneakers driving in but then change into my heels in the carpark. I love the idea of doing grocery shopping in heels but even then I drive to the shops then put on my heels for shopping. Sometimes that could be extra exciting if a guy or two happened to be walking by as I was putting my heels on with my door open and my legs out of the car. A few times I waited before putting my heels on in order to be putting them on at the right time. I also don't like being a passenger when a friend is driving who is wearing heels even thought there have never been any accidents or anything ... yet. Christine.

  7. I have been working as an assistant Document Controller at a mining refinery site for the last 5 months and we are not allowed to wear heels to work because "Safety is the number one priority" ... and even though I have never had to leave the main admin building since I have been there it seems heels are not safe ... maybe because guys will bump into walls or fall over things because they are looking at the heels and not where they are going :-) We are not even allowed to use a mobile phone unless standing still or sitting down. But I always take heels with me and have often just put them on in the motel room in the evening and a few times have gone to the motel restaurant for dinner just so I could wear my heels 'out' then but it is sort of a little scary being in a restaurant at a table by yourself (but the heels help add confidence). Christine.

  8. There is something special about heels like no other clothes. I don't know exactly why or what it is. But it is special. I feel sexier in heels fully clothed than I do just wearing a bikini. I love how they make me feel and no matter how often I wear them the feeling is always there. Even just wearing heels grocery shopping makes it special ... even better if you have someone else to push the trolley. Christine.

  9. Wow. What an interesting question. I had never thought about the idea of a boyfriend (or hubby, one day maybe) being into wearing heels. Apart from my younger brother messing around and wearing mine a couple of times when I was still at home (which I used to hate, his smelly feet in my beautiful heels, yuk) I have never actually seen a guy in real life wearing heels. Only pictures. I just can't imagine sitting on couch with a serious boyfriend and he is wearing heels! Does not compute (sorry, I do Document Control and work around computers). No. Can't see it. Also I am currently working at a mine site (a refinery actually) and we all have to wear steel toe cap boots, cotton trousers/jean, and hi-viz vests once inside the compound. I can't even imagine any of those guys ever wearing high heels :-) Just can't. Christine.

  10. I am trying really hard to make myself only buy a new pair of heels once a month. With average-good brand heels now being around $250 (Australian) and a new car to pay off and spending money on my new hobby (photography) I have to control my shoe buying sprees. Last year I bought 22 new pairs of shoes and 16 of those were heels. I don't have the real cost from the receipts but that is something like $5,500 in one year on shoes! But it is so hard when you see a really sexy pair of heels in a shop window ... like a certain pair of blue and white Peep Toe sandals I spotted last Saturday (sob). They would go so well with jeans in winter :-) Christine.

  11. For sure. Just trying new heels on in the shop is a turn on. But when getting dressed to go out in heels then putting the heels on at the end of getting ready is the best bit of getting ready. It is like sliding on some kind of sexual glow. As someone said, they are kind of magic in a way. Knowing that most guys are turned on by heels is probably part of it but it is also that heels just make me feel sort of more confident and sexy. Sort of bolder. More out there ... if that makes sense. Christine.

  12. Hi from Australia. I am a Document Controller at a mining refinery and we have to wear steel toe boots to work ... honestly. But I love heels and wear them whenever I can. I found this site looking for heels on the Web and thought it might be fun to join. I hope I don't forget about it :-) I join so many things on the Web and then forget about them. ChistineC
