  1. Hard to know what to do? You're mad! I love all of my Peeptoe brand shoes. They can be a little narrow fit. You might need to go up a size.

Anywho, I'm jealous. I want them!

I have never bought shoes directly from a web site. I find shoes I like on the web and they work out who has them. Half the fun of buying them is trying them on in the shop. I have been tempted because sometimes I find shoes I really like the look of but can't find them in shops.

    Christine.

  2. Sorry I am so late replying but I have been on site since Tuesday morning (it is Wed night now) and basically went to bed early last night.

Thanks for all your replies and I am for sure going to go and check them out at the store if they have them. Often they don't have all the styles that are on the Peep Toe web site. If they are anything as awesome as the other Peep Toes I bought then I am pretty sure I will decide to buy them as soon as I try them :-)

You will feel so good wearing them - and so good to look forward to when stuck on site in your workboots.

Yes. They would be awesome to wear with jeans grocery shopping and it is a while since I went grocery shopping in heels.

  3. It must be almost two months since I bought my current favourite heels and I have been thinking that my high heels collection is missing a pair of bright red heels (to go with blue jeans, obviously). My blue and white Peep Toe brand sandals have been so awesome with how they fit and feel that I looked up what Peep Toe have in red and found these.

I would have preferred a sandal or even a sling back because I like the sort of bare foot look and also I like my toes to be less scrunched. Also they are plats and I am not so into plats. But they are not really full plats and this is all Peep Toe have in real red right now. Probably because they do not have their new spring shoes out yet. Part of me says just go to Galleria and get them but then I think … eeek … $250. But then my blue and white Peeps were $275 and they have been about the best heels I have bought. I love them.

So hard to know what to do. Sob.

  4. Wondering why seeing a guy wearing heels in Perth would be so unusual ?

Is Perth an industrial or blue collar type of city ?

I guess Perth is sort of a really big mining town … in a way. But I didn’t mean it that way. I just don’t imagine guys in Perth wearing heels. I worked in the city for three years and up until about a year ago I have been to clubs in the city, Northbridge, and Fremantle lots of times and I never spotted any guys wearing heels. But I guess since joining this site I am learning that there are more guys into wearing heels than I probably thought.

    Christine.

  5. I am back from site and working from home on Fridays except for when they specifically need me to stay at the site (for running a training session usually). It is overcast and wet here and there is supposed to be strong wind later, and I am alone in the unit because Alise has gone to work. So it is kind of a little sad and miserable here. To sort of put a little bit of excitement in the morning I am wearing my nude and black Tony Bianco peep toe plats (they are nude/cream but with a black band and small bow over the toes). I am not really that into plats but this morning I just felt like wearing them. I can sort of pretend I am working in an office in the city and not having to wear hi-viz and boots. Sort of. Christine.

  6. Understand the heels in a mining town as opposed to the Hay St Mall. You can therefore understand how I felt when I walked down Hay St Mall in 6" ankle boots and jeans. Excited yes but very cautious_ a girl you see every day , but a guy .......

If there is one thing I miss about working in the city it would be getting to wear heels to work … and maybe getting to get nice coffee from Cino or Gloria Jeans once or twice a day. Okay so that’s two things. Doing document control and documentation is mostly sitting so apart from the walk from the carpark it is perfect for someone who likes to wear heels. But really I don’t miss having to drive in and out of the city every day and the cost of parking.

I honestly can’t imagine seeing a guy in 6” ankle boots in Perth :-) I Just so can’t.

Did you do it during the day or at night?

    Christine.

  7. I am not that into full platforms (platforms over about 1.5cm) but I do like the style of those. I am currently seriously into jeans with heels but for me I am not really seeing black heels going with jeans (assuming blue jeans). Maybe with white jeans or really pale blue jeans. Christine.

  8. i have to admit i love the look of heels under jeans

I have been into heels with jeans since late summer. I have had to take up some of my jeans a little bit because I don’t like them covering my foot too much and so that sort of most of the shoe and heel can be seen. No fun wearing sexy heels out if they can’t be seen.

What sort of heels do you like?

    Christine.

  9. I know this is a really late reply but I am sort of new and have only read a really small number of the stories here. I checked this twice before replying but are you actually 64 and still into wearing heels? And you walk 4 kilometers in heels? omg ... I love wearing heels and try to think of places to wear them all the time but 4 kilometers is long walk in heels. Christine.

  10. omg ... 200 pair of heels. I have 31 pairs (not counting about 10 pairs I have thrown out over the years) and my best friend Alise tells me I have a problem. 200 pairs and you are a guy! If they were $100 a pair then that is $20,000. Christine.

  11. Do you ever wear slingbacks?

    See. I didn't forget.

These are my Peep Toe sling backs. And really, my RAV4 car is almost this colour.

But even though they are made by the same people they are not as nice to wear as my current favourite blue and white sandals. They squeeze my toes more and the heel and arch just don't seem to be right. The fit of the sandals is so much better. But same size and same company.

    Christine.

  12. Do any of you have men with just love you in high heels and want you in them all the time? How do you feel about that---

-- Yes I want to wear them for him and do all the time.

-- I love to wear them and this gives me an excuse to do so

-- I wear them as I like them and not for him.

I wish I was the first option.

    Sad

    Sarah G

My answer is sort of two parts. I wear them for me for the fun and feeling of wearing heels. When I work from home on Fridays I sometimes put heels on now and then even though I am just home alone. But as well I have often imaged a boyfriend who was into me wearing heels and was open about it and would actually ask me to wear heels for him.

I have only had two serious boyfriends and (as far as I know) neither of them were that into me wearing heels although they might have been secretly but did not make it obvious. Going out with a boyfriend and knowing he was turned on by me wearing heels would make it even more exciting to be wearing them.

So my answer is part of the first one and part of the third one.

    Christine.

  13. To be honest I am not really sure how I would feel about a guy or a bf who was into wearing heels. I have never come across a guy like that (in real life I mean, not counting here). Not as far as I know anyway. I sort of go for semi-nerdy ‘not too sport obsessed’ types so maybe they are not the type that are actually into wearing high heels. Maybe Australian guys are just not so much into wearing heels. Trying to imagine it sitting here at my desk I am thinking it really would be seriously odd doing something like going out to dinner and we were both wearing high heels. But I suppose it would depend on how high his heels were and what sort they were. Like 5” stiletto semi-plat sandals would be totally totally weird but maybe 3” ankle boots with a chunky heel not so weird. I don’t know. I guess it is one of those things I really won’t know about until it actually happens. Thinking of the guys I work with at site I really cannot imagine any of them being into wearing heels. But I know how much I seriously love wearing heels and being seen in high heels and I try to think of new little exciting heel wearing adventures all the time. So I can sort of understand a bit maybe how those guys that want to wear high heels feel and how much they want to do it. Christine.

  14. After thinking about it for about ten minutes I would say that I wear heels for me. I love how heels make me feel. I always look forward to getting to wear heels and I enjoy the confidence and sexiness upgrade that wearing heels out gives me. Normally I am a semi-shy person and would have to say also a little self conscious. But going out in heels makes me become much less shy and because I want to be seen in heels they sort of also make me self conscious in an exciting good way instead of it being a nervous yukky feeling. I want to be seen. As I write this down it makes me think that putting on heels in a way is almost like taking a pill or drugs.

Up until two months before Xmas I worked part time in the city (I was still studying) and got to wear heels any day I wanted to. With my work now I can’t wear heels to work and I really miss that. My contract finishes at the end of this month but I do have an option to extend until the end of the year and one of the things I am thinking is that if I do stop working at the site then I could probably get a job back in the city and be able to wear heels again. But working at the site pays about 30 percent more than a job back in the city would. Really hard to decide.

    Christine.

  15. I am back from site working at my home office today (Friday) and I am at my desk connected into my work on my other work PC sitting here in very faded pink tracky pants and a sloppy black jumper but with heels on. Often on the Friday when I am back from site working from home I will wear heels for part of the day at least. It is sort or weird really. I am here alone (Alise went to work at 8:00 and it is now 10:30) so nobody can see me wearing them, which is usually most of the fun of wearing heels. It might be partially because I don’t get to wear them at site at work so I make up for it by sort of wearing them for ‘work’ when I work from home … if that makes any sense. It just feels so nice to have heels on even just sitting here at my desk. Makes working from home a little bit more exciting. Even getting up to get a coffee is more fun and I can sort of imagine that there are guys watching as I walk over to make a coffee. What is it that makes heels so awesome?

  16. My first attempt at a ‘story’. Although I write Change Management documentation I don’t write stories much. Be nice. I am away working at site this week as I do most weeks. I work at a site which is near a large-ish country town. Large-ish for Western Australia anyway but probably tiny compared to US towns. It is sort of a mining town about two hours drive down from Perth. I always pack at least one pair of heels just in case really but don’t get much chance to show them off. It is hi-viz and steel toe boots at the site even though I work in the offices and never actually go into the processing or plant parts of the site. Mostly after leaving site I am in my motel room in town maybe sipping some red wine with some cheese (like tonight) or I might go for a drive somewhere. Sometimes I go over to the motel restaurant for dinner and a couple of times I have worn heels over there. But mostly I am in my room with my notebook computer to amuse me and half watching the TV but there are not many channels available here (5). Yesterday I really wanted the excitement of wearing my heels somewhere so after getting back to the motel I decided to go for a little adventure and wore my current favourite heels for a small outing to the newsagent and chemist on what is sort of the main street of the town. I purposely parked a bit away from the shops I was going to in order to have to walk a little further and I parked on the other side of the road so I would have to cross the road. I was wearing jeans with my heels. It is winter but I am currently totally into the look of sort of boring jeans but with sexy high heels (see my icon). I went past the chemist and down to the newsagent first. I was at the newsagent for about 10 minutes or so looking around and ended up buying a Cosmo. It was about 5:15 (I don’t leave the site until 4:30 and it is about a 20 minute drive back into town) and not many people came in. There were only two guys that came in and they were still in their hi-viz and work boots. So my heels did not get much attention there that I noticed. Then I went back to the chemist and spent some time looking around there before buying a pack of nail boards and some lavender scented soap. There were more men in the chemist. Mostly waiting for prescriptions I think. I glimpsed a few of them quickly checking out my heels as I walked around. Leaving the chemist going back to my car I go past three ATMs and at the last ATM there were three guys huddled around and one of them spotted me in my heels and I notice him telling the other two to look. I really wanted to stop and give them a longer look but the ATM is back off the street as part of the bank and there is no where to stop without just stopping in the middle of the footpath which would have looked really stupid. I thought about stopping and turning around and walking back to the chemist like I had forgotten something but didn’t. So then it was across the road and back to my car, heels off and driving thongs on, then back to my motel unit. It was exciting and I enjoyed it. Wearing awesome heels up the street in a dusty mining town. Girls in heels are common in the Hay Street Mall in Perth city but I bet they are almost never seen on the street here. Christine.
