  1. Last Saturday, we - some members of the German "Menonhighheels"-Forum - met in Alzey.

We startet at the local BUFFALO-Outlet-Store. All of us dressed quite casual/ normal as men would dress like - accept of the heels.

The store was filled with lots of high heeled shoes! (I guess, my wife would have not find any pair!) where I purchased some redwine 4,5" court shoes with a small platform.

After that, we visited two other shoe stores, where they offered more low heeled "grandma" shoes. :penitent:

And we quickly left the stores...

The last store (Deichmann) was more successfull to one of us.

Four shops, where the sales ladies acted very professional. No grinning, no looks of surprise or fear... it was nearly TOOOOOOO normal!

So we finished our shopping tour and went to the city.

01:00pm (13:00h) on a Saturday - and all shops were  closed!

But fortunately, we found an old-style Café, to have space and time, to discuss about so many typical men´s topics:

    Cars, Women, Tools/ Craftsmenship, Soccer...

Just like "ordinary" men - just with the difference of the shoe type.

And even there, in that "old school café" nobody really noticed us. :nono:

But we were not out, to freak the citizens. We gathered, to have some fun,

to debate within our group of heel-wearing-men.

I think, all of us really enjoyed that meeting!

  2. I remember other discussions like that (i.e. letting the son go to kindergarden with a skirt) - no problem for the kids, but for the other parents.

I'd kick my son in his underdeveloped nut sack if he ever tried some phaggot shit like this.

Does he react the same, if his daughter would like to wear pants or a "Bob the builder" T-Shirt?
  3. @yellow: don´t be toooo disappointed. If I read it correctly, it was your first time, trying shoes in a shop? You can be happy und proud, to have a supportive wife on your side! Make it your strategy: you are such a great guy, that you can (easily) have such a hot chick/ nice woman at your side. You know, how to satisfy her in any way of life. So: who will or could even blame you? With that little bit arrogant thinking, you can do, whatever you want! And if you got to that point, you can do ANYTHING! Just think about, what other people are doing: getting pierces, tattoed, ... making strange boy modifications,... while you are just trying on some unconventional shoes. If you take them off - you are "normal" back again - the others can´t turn back. I think, you should discuss the situtation, you had in the store with you wife. What was good, what was bad. How she could support you and what she should avoid (i.e. forcing you into a situation, you do not want to get in). And how to handle it for the next time. Good luck!

  4. Within the last ten day I purchased some wedges at AMAZON.de.

Cheap shoes, made in China and now, at the end of summer, with a good rebate.

    Sandaletten mit Keilabsatz

    Absatzhöhe: ca. 11,5cm - ca 2,0-2,5cm Plateau

The court shoes I originally ordered as peep-toes, because the classical version was sold out. Luckily I received the closed version (they had the wrong labelling on the box); the second time I received the correct version. I love them both!

So while ordering the second time, I added some sandals, I discovered. And even they are really easy to walk and were quiet cheap!

    In total I paid for all the 3 pairs 32,57 EUR ~ 40 US-$.

  5. While the other poll is about the first experiences, this one is to find out, at what age the majority got the first own heels. And I mean: heels, that were dedicated to YOU! not some borrowed shoes, not old worn shoes to keep - no I mean new heels for you, that you bought for yourself or someone paid for. Shoes, that you were allowed to wear and to keep them.

Maybe you could answer the following questions on top:

    1. How old have you been, when you got your first heels?

    2. What was the reason (i.e. special event like carneval/ halloween; because you lost a bet; because you felt in love for them)

    3. Who paid the bill?

    4. How much did you spend?

    5. How and where did you buy? (retailer: grabbed and paid or tried them on; mail order company/ online; etc.)

    6. Were you allowed to wear them at home (i.e. after of that special purpose)?

    Thanks!

  6. My answer:

No, and I do not plan on telling

My wife knows about my intereset in high heeled shoes.

But it is not her business. She ends at 3", where I begin, wearing high heeled shoes. And she is used to me and my high heeled shoes, I am not only wearing at home.

She knows, that I am active within the internet, between different subjects, like Heels, Guns, Politics, and so on. So there is no need, to direct her to this site.

  7. Okay, then I will share may story: I was about 11 yrs. old, when I was poking through the wardrobe of my mother. And I discovered a pair of heels, I did not notice so far. A little bit old fashion, not very high, more the "grandma pumps". And I was wondering, if the would fit and how it would be to walk in them. They fit like a glove and I felt fine with them. No problem, to walk around within these 2" heels. So I checked out the others shoes I found. Some were a little bit too big for me at that time, others had the perfect fit. And I really tried every type of heel, my mom had in stock. There were many! From 2" until 4.5". I adapted easily. I was born to walk in heels. And there was one pair, I really loved. Black leather pumps with a 3.5" heel. Everytime, when my parents were out, I was walking the whole time with those heels through the house. Stairs up, stairs down, parading, prancing,... What a great time! When I turned 14, I had already 1-2 sizes more than my mom and it was no longer possible to wlak in her heels, without torturing my own feet. My first own pair I bought in a supermarket, when I was 18: grapped them, paid for them (with a red lightenig head) und went home, to discover, that they showed the right size, but were definetely 2 numbers too small. But I did not have the courage, to change them back. Lots of blind purchases followed. Not really satisfying me, until I got the nerves, to try on the shoes within the shop. Still with a brightenig red head, but without these disappointing moments at home. What was your first story?

  8. Maybe you could write some words after the poll, for example: Was it just for fun, playing "dress up", Was it for a seasonal reason, i.e. Halloween or Carneval? Was it for a special party or event (i.e. Male BeautyPageant) Was it for a social event (i.e. "Walk a mile in her shoes")? Was it because of interest/ curiosity? Was it becaus of some erotic interest? Was it your idea? Or did anyone ask you to try out? Did you borrow the heels? And did the owner know? Did you buy them for this special purpose? etc. (you do not have to answer all these questions - it is more a summary of ideas/ reason, why and wehn you tried the first pair of heels) Maybe we could write down our first expressions with heels.

  9. What a strange poll. I voted for 'others'. Because, you cannot talk about 'comfort'; in 4inch+ heels; and I do not want to feel or look feminine either. Why I do wear heels? Because I like the how they look (most of them - not all), I like the feeling - the instep, the fitting I like the way to walk in heels I find myself more attractive in heels I like to confuse other people, seeing a man in heels, I like to collect them and have a wide variety to choose, etc.

  10. [...]

Thank you very much for showing the suede boots from Topshop.com - they have really nice heesl Fortunately, they have also this UK-shop, that will supply to Germany, too.

I have ordered a pair of model "GABLE" in black, they were on sale und the ideal kind of shoes for business purposes - elegant, somehow "masculin", but also high!

    Thanks a lot!

  11. Dr. Shoe

He dosn't look all that much as a Perv. Maybe a little more like a cossack that scared to death the clothes he is wearing.

    Mike

No he is just a funny guy who makes jokes about his self.

I know form another page (heelsforum.de).

Sometimes it is really crazy and ridiculous, but harmless.

  12. I don't know if ebay even has the capability to track such a thing and then conclude 1/3 of shoes sold on the site were bought by men.

They were even able, to announce the average heigt of heels ("women" in bigger cities prefer higher heels) and about the colour (in the south, black is the prefered colour).

So I think, they should be able, to let us know the sizes that had been sold.

Why they do not let us know?

Because it is the average allocation? Or because they would have to explain... I don´t know.

Anyway - I still hope, that more men will find the courage to wear heels in public.

  13. Umm, we're talking about shoes here. Whether or not a woman is pleased with a man buying her shoes has very little influence on whether or not he does it.

Okay, maybe it is a "German problem", that girls would reject clothes, because they believe, guys do have a bad taste when it comes up to fashion (okay - according to what is normally offered to men - they must be blind or defenitely have a bad taste!).

Or they think, their partners would like to press them into roles, they do not want to belong ("I will not wear hooker shoes!").

You can overwhelm them with jewlery, give them a new car, invite them to restaurants, to opera and musical, to a trip around the world, yes and you can go out for shopping (it you have the nerves to) and pay all the bills - but you better not try to tell them what to wear - except you are the (gay) stylist at a fashion show (on TV).

Because of this behavior, I do not believe, that more than 10% of the shoes "bought by men" are dedicated for their female partners.

About the sizes and heel heights: yes, that would be interesting. Unfortunately, they did not present more details about it. But for the first instance, it is interesting enough THAT they (men) do.

The next step was, to find out WHY they are doing it.

According to what I can see in other communities, there is a trend to wear normal, "female" shoes. From flat Ballerinas, queeny heels, big block heels, up to thin and high stilettos. Those men (including me) do not want to wear only 6" pink patent pumps. They like to wear what is up2date, too. This can be 2" wedges or 4" stilettos. Open toe pumps or boots with an "offroad-profile" sole. Whatever.

It is not a fetish, it is only the pure desire, to wear NICE and PRETTY shoes (the opposite of what is offered to men normally) - the height of the heel is of secondary interest.

  14. This is an interesting market info, I found about the German Ebay sales:

In der ersten Jahreshälfte 2011 wurden bei Ebay circa 23.300 Paar Damenschuhe gekauft. Ein Drittel der Damenschuhe wurde dabei von Männern gekauft.

    Source: http://www.schuhmarkt-news.de/handel/studien_marktanalysen/show/10412-Ebay-Verkaufszahlen-gewaehren-Einblick-in-weibliche-Schuhschraenke/

    Translation:

Within the first six months 2011, about 23,300 pairs of women´s shoes have been orderd on EBAY. Thereof, one third was bought by men.

That means: ther is definetely a demand!

But what I do not understand is why they do not go deeper, investigate why men like to purchase women´s shoes.

Because they buy them for their girls ("you don´t have to walk in them - just wear them in the bed")

Are because these buyers are all lunatics, perverts?

Or maybe because there is something missing in the men´s shoe section?

When do they start to think about it, that they could generate more sales and turnover, if they offer pretty shoes for men?

  15. I have read so many stupid things about "men in heels" - this is not shocking or disappointing to me anymore.

They [heels] were made for a reason. I believe that reason is to give women a little extra sex appeal [...]

Is this the reason why Louis XIV & Co. wore heels?

Sorry, many of these ladies do not know the historical background of heels. They believe they have been invented for ladies only.

Further on, they believe, only women could walk in them w/o problems (and maybe some gay freaks and dragqueens) - but not ordinary, straight men.

They are defending their huge and wide territory of clothings and accessories. Everything that looks nice, is made for women - the ugly rest is left for the guys (if you look around in shops, you will confirm).

Women attacked and occupied so many categories of clothes and accessories, that former "strictly for guys" switched into "for girls only", i.e. long shafted boots - over centuries worn by soldiers - today "typical feminin". Short trousers - today "hot pants", and so on.

Or the trends of the last seasons: "boyfriend look", "gentlemen look", "dandy look"... this was more crossdressing than just crossover.

Does any woman ask, if she could wear anything, that might be known as "made for men"? No!

If even boxershorts (with access/ flap!) are worn by women - I do not see or accept a reason, why I should not wear heels.
