  2. Any ideas where I might be able to find anything about this, preferably on the Web? One of these nice doctors telling me to wear hight heels all the time for medical reasons?

  3. I find that I get back ache wandering round shops, shows, etc. - in flat shoes. However, if I wear heels, I never get any trouble. I can spend hours on my feet, ache-free! I'm sure my wife doesn't believe me; she thinks I'm putting it on to make a case for my wearing heels as often as possible! I'm pretty well living in a pair of Bertulli boots with 4" part-hidden heel. I'd love to wear other shoes with full visible heel, but I've got to show consideration for her feelings. I just wear the 'real' heels at home when the kids are at school. I work from home, so I get to wear them quite a bit. Slowly but surely, I think!

  4. How about this one, sent by someone I know in California: Anyone planning a trip soon? BEWARE!! A man named Mr. Smith was flying from San Francisco to LA. Unexpectedly, the plane stopped in Sacramento along the way. The flight attendant explained that there would be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft, the plane would re-board in 30 minutes. Everybody got off the plane except one gentleman who was blind. Mr. Smith had noticed him as he walked by and could tell the blind man had flown before because his Seeing Eye dog lay quietly underneath the seats in front of him throughout the entire flight. Mr. Smith could also tell he had flown this very flight before because the pilot approached him, and calling him by name, said "Keith, we're in Sacramento for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?" Keith replied, "No thanks, but maybe the dog would like to stretch his legs." Picture this: All the people in the gate area came to a complete quiet standstill when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with the Seeing Eye dog! The pilot was even wearing sunglasses. People scattered. They not only tried to change planes, they were trying to change airlines! Have a weekend and remember, things aren't always as they appear!

  5. Any shows in southern England that people are going to? I hope to go to the Brighton model show next Friday, but I'll have two kids in tow  There are probably others coming up. I have a Fleischmann N-guage layout, and am slowly adding to it. The scenery's almost non-existent at present, but I must get down to working on it.

  6. I enjoy the feel of the height and walk. 10 Fashion - an indispensible accessory. 1 For the extra height and confidence. 4 A way to emphasise my feminine side. 0 I am sexually stimulated by wearing them. 10 To be more attractive. 2 I seem to have different priorities from many here  I just love the feeling of being perched up on my toes, and my wife is really jealous of the way I can walk so easily in heels she finds painful to stand in. She wears 2-3" heels most of the time, but her arches don't seem to like much over that.

  7. My first real serious recollections were from when I was 12-13 and was staying with a friend who had an older sister who was in to the fashion at the time (mid 70s), and I had to try them secretly while she was out. I was hooked after that, although I had little opportunity for 'real' heels of my own until several years later. Going away to college and, particularly, a spell abroad, gave me scope for trying them, and I kept a couple of pairs of 4" heels for closet wear. I told my wife of my penchant a year or so after our marriage and at first she accepted it, even buying me a pair of 6" stilettos for my birthday, but she went back on her acceptance a bit later and I got rid of my small collection until last year when I went and bought a pair of Bertulli boots which she eventually accepted. I wear these a lot, everywhere, but I also have a pair of 4" loafers (got them on at the moment) and a pair of mules with 5" heel and 1" platform which are nice in warmer weather. I wear these in house and garden, but I'd love to get out in the loafers! I think I'll have to put the brakes on acquiring more shoes, as my wife's not very keen and only tolerates my 'hobby'. However, I've got this far...
