Keep the humour coming! Things can get a bit intense here at times, and I'm just as guilty as any of getting into an argument. You're good for the site, and I generally have a bit of a chuckle (or Old Roar with laughter) even if some others don't even realise you're trying to be humourous. Keep paddling.

But you do write beautiful language! The main thing is to be yourself, and not try to be someone else. Attempts to produce what you regard as beautiful language might appear forced and be far worse than what you would string together naturally. Not everyone has quick wit and the ability to laugh at themselves, and many would long to be like that. How about: There is a dear lady called Megan Whose literary skills I would egg on. She writes deathless prose As she dampens her toes, And I can't think of anything to rhyme with the first two lines, so I'd better give up while I'm ahead. (Such a visitation from the muse on a Tuesday morning.)

That's fine, and I'm very glad it's not an issue for you. That's not the case for many on this site, but then they wear high heels themselves.

Ah, OK! Mind you, if you could find size 15 heels you could start a trend with people who want their feet to look smaller.

They're fabulously classy You must have quite small feet, if the picture is of you. The ones in my avatar are 5.5 inches and I take a UK 8.

Just taken in garden. Most hassle was reducing the size of the image to fit here! Many thanks for your compliments! Glad you contributed one post, but please be free to join in more regularly. Have you managed to get some heels since you posted? Ebay is generally the cheapest, but of course you can't try them on. With size 10 feet you should be able to wear 6" heels with a bit of practice. Those in my avatar are 5.5 inches and I take a size 8 - about the same proportions. I wear them round the house and garden with no trouble, but wear some with a lower and thicker heel on the rare occasion I venture out publicly. I have boots with a 3" heel on at the moment and intend wearing them home from work later.

Thanks. Finally worked out how to reduce a photo to the required file size. Not quite in Jen's league, but I can say I can walk in them! They're Pleaser leather shoes with 5.5in heel and I can wear them for hours. What are the shoes in your avatar?
