SH, get your brother to look at the Panasonic Mobile web site. They do a charge/data cable for it. If he hunts around on there (can't manage to find it now I'm at home, but I found it at work) he can order it direct from them for £38.

I'm going out in town Friday night so armed with my new camera phone (Panasonic GD87) I'll see what I can capture...either that or I'll get slapped

GFM, I've had a look on the River Island web site but can't spot the one's you describe. Probably they've changed to the spring season now and those boots were from last season

As for which shop's better, I agree with you. Next is really conservative compared to RI. In fact, if you compare the clothes & footwear in both stores, RI wins on all acounts (although that maybe localised in Northampton )

Hiya, To be honest once I'd watched the girl try on the 4.5" sandles I kind of lost track of the other styles on show I do remember that the boots were very nice though! Did you go to Next afterwards? they had 2 pairs of nice boots in there. Both had 3.5-4" heels on them, about £60 I think.

Naa as she went into the changing rooms she said "oh you can look at the shoes". Although she probably didn't mean "oh you can look at pretty girls trying on the shoes" but that's how I interpreted it

i was forced to go into River Island in Northampton with the girlfriend last Saturday. She chose a few things she wanted to try on "great, waiting round for another 10 mins by the changing room". As we got there imagine my pleasure in seeing that the entrance to the changing rooms was right by the shoes & boots area Whilst I was waiting I saw 2 good looking ladies try on different pairs of 4" stiletto boots But the pinnicle was being 1m away from a gorgeous woman trying on 4-4&1/2" sandles that were in the sale :bday: . She took ages checking them out in her hands before putting them on and strutting around in them for a few minutes. I thought she looked fantastic in them but she put them back on the shelf

Ok she may not be a celeb but she is on TV. Her names Jenny Falconer and she's a presenter on GMTV.

In a time when other presenters on the show have been told to tone down their clothes at least Ms Falconer does us proud!

Here's a couple of caps of Denise Van Outen presenting something on VH1. I can confirm Ms Outen has no trouble walking in these as most of the time she was walking round the set and we rarely got to see the shoes because of the length of her trousers (makes me think she was wearing them more for herself than anything)

Has anyone seen the white stilettos Kylies wearing on the Fever album cover?

They have an infill piece between the shoe and heel which makes the heel appear lower than it really is?

Why she'd want to do this I don't know
