At the moment BB2 are repeating some episodes of Top Gear (still Sundays @ 8pm). Yesterday they showed an episode that was only one or 2 before the one that Carol was on.

I think there's a United Footwear in Kettering as well. But as yet I've not managed to convince my girlfriend to go shopping there

I'm not sure where my "fetish" for high heels came from either. Best reason I can come up with is that I'm a child of the 80's and stiletto courts we all the rage for a little while, probably just as I hit puberty. Every woman I found desirable seemed to be wearing stiletto's. I remember 2 women in my street very well. One was my next door neighbour, prolly about the same age as my mum but she always dressed so classy. Even a walk over to the shops she'd be wearing 4" mules. Whenever she went out I'd try and get a peek of what she was wearing. The other lady lived down the end of our street (a cul-de-sac so everyone always had ot pass our house to get out). She was late-20's/early-30's and she was the A-typical 80's girly, sky high stiletto's and tiny mini skirts. I remember she had a dog and would walk it everyday, passing my house and I'd see and hear the click/clacking of her fantastic heels. I think these two ladies helped shape my, for want of a better word, obbession with women in high heels, and I thank them with all my heart!

Emma, she did really well in the "reasonably priced car". I think it was a wet track (prolly all the heel fans drooling over the track ) and I think she got the 2nd faster time for a "moist" track as Clarkson put it

Calv, this is the only one I have of her walking on.

My girlfriend said exactly the same as your mum, I felt like saying "she can wear what she wants, so what if she's over 40, she has a great body and is confident enough to wear such clothes, I wish more women would!" but i thought better of it and just enjoyed the feature

Yeah saw your post on the bit after I posted this They're fantastic boots! been loooking for a vid of her walking on but haven't managed to find one yet

I was in our local Next store when I happened to glance round (always a good place for heel spotting ) and caught sight of a young looking girl - approx 19-21 - in long coat, trousers and the highest heeled boot's I've ever seen "in real life", they must have been 5". Tried to hang around as much as possible but it was packed in there and lost sight of her after one a minute.

when you think that all heels and boots should have at least 4" heels!
