  1. Hi, kneehighs. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush... If the one you're living with loves you, that's worth quite a lot, even if there's one thing about you she doesn't like. The fact that she's with you in spite of your heeling says a lot for her committment to you as a person. Hard to beat.

  2. I wonder if those designers have any idea of how ridiculous their creations look, particularly when they put frilly, satiny skirts and dresses on men? But the one in the upper-left corner isn't so bad.

Rough-looking men should be wearing rough-looking, or refined, but masculine clothes, in my opinion.

And yes, you can most certainly design both skirts and heels in both rough-looking and masculine styles!

    Check it out:

  3. My folks found out early on, like when I was around 9. At the time, they were concerned, but got over it, especially since I didn't keep wearing them then, out of shame. They found out a couple years ago, though, that I'd worn heels off and on, and again they seemed a bit concerned, but they got over it again, and know that I still wear heels out, and sometimes with skirts around the home. But I'm more of an LL Beaner with respect to style, than someone who buys from Macys. I'll take a long, dark jeans skirt and rustic heeled clogs any day, particularly if I'm out for a walk through the woods.

  4. I'm not much into spike heels, but I might be tempted to wear something like this if they ever came in my size:

But I would prefer something more along these lines:

And hey, what do you know? The ones on the right are in my size - and less than $100, too!

  5. I would agree with an earlier poster - there's nothing wrong with wearing red, particular the darker tone, as many men's boots are that color. Now the heel tends to say "women's shoe," but overall, it still looks very nice.
