  1. Hello, everyone. ;)

New sandals! They're the white version of my black/silver platforms.

    Posted Image

I'll have another "sister away on a trip, apartment all to myself" weekend, so I'm expecting to take a good walk in them, even if it's just indoors.

I'll see if I can take these for a little "office walk" next week, it's been a couple of weeks since I last did it (been away on business trips). Maybe I can get better pictures then.

BTW, this week I found an online store, here in Brazil, that sells "lingerie for big women". I'm not a big woman :D but I ordered some nylon stockings (black, white and red) that should fit me better than the regular, "universal size" nylons I bought last time. Unfortunately they won't arrive until next week. When they do, I'll post the pictures here.

  2. Hello, everyone. ;)

Kennard, if they are adjustable ankle straps maybe you can make new holes to fit better in your ankles! Have you tried it?

I'm already using the last hole, right at the end of the strap...

Or you could try not to stap them so high above your ankle.

Well, the reason I strap them so high is because my ankles are thicker below that, and the strap simply doesn't fit. I guess most women have not-so-thick ankles. :D

  3. Hello, everyone. ;)

Finally got the chance to take my new red platforms for a little "office walk". Here's some pics (a little dark I'm affraid):

They have a nice fit, and walking in them is really comfortable. If only the ankle strap wasn't so short and tight...

  4. Hello, everyone. ;)

    Kennard,

Those shoes look beautiful. How did they feel? How long did you walk? Let us know.

The shoes have a nice fit, but unfortunately it was a short walk because one of my co-workers stayed late (much later than usual), so I didn't have as much time... :D I tried to compesate that by wearing them at home, while I was using my computer. It's not the same thing, I know...

  5. Hello, everyone.

Yes, I am anxious to know how they feel when walking in them. I also would like to know what kind of reaction you get from your co-workers or others that might see you wearing them.

Sometimes it feels like my words are falling into deaf ears... Ok, here it goes: I don't let even my sister, at home, see me in heels, let alone my office co-workers... My "office walks" are a strictly after-hours, me all alone in the office thing. I would never be able to pull this off (wearing heels at work), like Jeff does. :D

BTW, since I mentioned my sister, let me share this with you: she has almost caught me redhanded, or should I say high-heeled, a couple of times. What saved me was the fact that I had locked my bedroom door. Those were some pretty close calls... ;)

Very nice sandals. I like the slides the best. You and I share the ankle starp problem  I sure wish they'd make those straps just a few inches longer. I'd have to agree nylons would look great with those and they feel better than socks or bare feet, in my opinion. Congratulations!

Yes, longer straps would definitely be good. :D As for nylons, I have limited experience (I only have one pair), but I do want to try to use them more, not just for the comfort factor but also the "color coordination" of hosiery and heels. I like the image of women wearing heels and hosiery, and I think it'd be a great turn-on to see and feel them on myself.

  6. Hello, everyone. ;)

:D OMG kennard I would kill for the first pair they are too cute. Where di you get them and even the red ones they look much better on you feet instead on by themselves. Congratulations on those, i am a sandal lover and i am officialy jealous. Have fun at the office. let us know how they feel when you road test them.

I bought all my sandals (I'm not a big fan of boots) from online sellers, at auction sites. About these last two, I have to say that I prefer the red plats (despite the "buckle up" problem), the "thong" (golden/silver sandals) didn't quite live up to my expectations... Maybe that'll change when I take them to the "office walk"...

  7. Hello, everyone. ;)

My new sandals arrived! Yay! :D Here's some pics:

Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

I had some trouble to buckle the ankle strap on the red plats, almost couldn't get it to fit around my ankles but, as you can see, I eventually succeeded.

Now, the hosiery and the (almost traditional) after-hours office walk will have to wait until next week...

  8. Hello, everyone. ;)

    Sorry for not replying earlier...

As DeSalto mentioned, Brazil does have a large "rainbow" community, but most of it is concentrated in the big cities, like São Paulo or Rio. Unfortunately, I live very far from those...

BTW, DeSalto: I do have sandals without platforms, two pairs actually.

Posted Image The ones at the top of this very thread. :D

About hosiery, I think I'll try some pantyhose to see how it goes. I'll see if I can find it in red and white, maybe even black. I'm thinking black hosiery would combine nicely with my black sandals, red would be the logical choice to go with the red plats, and white would make a nice contrast with them all, don't you think?

  9. Hello, everyone.

    Kennard:-)

You have got some great looking sandals there, but the sox don't do them justice. You need some hose to really set them off in your pics. The 2 new pairs will look smashing also with some hosiery, or some of the guys wear them bare footed as some of the ladies do.

    Cheers---

    Dawn HH

Understand the reason for the thick socks. But, nothing says you can't take them off and wear your sandals with barefooted. (deep-six the sox ) :D

I like the sandals, by the way. ;)

Well, yeah I know I could wear them barefoot, it's just that taking off the socks then (later) putting them on again is such a bother... :D

And (yes again) I agree that a nice pair of nylons (is that the right word?) would go very well with the sandals, and not just these ones. The problem is I can't find a nice pair of nylons! I actually bought a pair back when I got my first two sandals (the plats), but unfortunately got a run on one leg (fingernails did it, and now there's a few holes) and, besides, I have very muscular legs (both calves and thighs), so they're not easy to fit in the delicate material...

But I guess I could try again, maybe even try to do a little color coordination...

  10. Hello, everyone. ;)

    Hey Kennard,

Very nice pair of sandals, ultra sexy. BTW whats with the socks? Also since you are in Brazil I would imagine that you have more freedom than most of us to street heel, i guess i'm wrong. please hurry with the other 2 pairs i can't wait to see them.

I don't know if you've read my previous posts (check the other pics), but these pics were taken at my workplace, after working hours, when I pretty much have the whole floor to myself. So the socks go with my regular office clothes...

As for "street heeling", I don't see Brazil being any more (or less, for that matter) free to do it, but I myself am not brave enough to do it, at least not with sandals like these (that would be quite an attention grabber)... :D

I'm still waiting for the postal service to deliver my new shoes. To satisfy (or entice) your curiosity, here's what they look like:

    Posted ImagePosted Image

I can barely wait to put my hands (and feet) on them...

  11. Hello, everyone.

Well, that particular seller (bobandangie) now only have the size 11, they had a size 12 but the auction ended during the weekend. This other seller has the shoes in size 12:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/5-Stiletto-High-Heel-Shoe-8221-Size-12-Yellow_W0QQitemZ7706297531QQcategoryZ63889QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

They also have this other style (also in yellow):

So many choices, and I don't mean just the color...

    K.

  12. Hello, everyone.

I saw these on eBay and I'm seriously thinking about buying them:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Sexy-Yellow-5-Heels-Ankle-Strap-Classic-Pumps-11_W0QQitemZ7710063436QQcategoryZ63889QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

What do you think? "Sexy" is the word that comes to my mind. The yellow color really chatches your eyes, doesn't it?

I'm a little worried, though. Will the US size 11 really fit me? Or should I buy the size 12?

    K.

  13. Hello, everyone.

They look like they fit ok to me!

Well, they do fit but, as I said, they're very tight, which is why I have no intention of wearing them for long periods of time.

As I mentioned before (see the first message in this thread), these shoes are a size smaller than my other two: these are BR 39 (US 10), and the platforms are both BR 40. I expected them to be a tight fit.

As for "street heeling", or wearing heels in public, see my previous replay to Bubba. ;)

    K.

  14. Hello, everyone.

Not bad, Kennard! :D Are they comfortable? and, are you planning to wear them in public?

Well, the front straps (the ones that aren't adjustable) are very tight, so after a while it's not comfortable. But I still got to take a little walk, and it made me wish I could have found them in size 40 or 41... :)

As for wearing my heels in public, I'll have to say no, thanks. At least not in the near future... Sorry, I'm not as brave as I'd like to be... ;)

    K.

  15. Hello, everyone.

Ok, time to put on the new shoes! That's right, I bought a new pair of high heel shoes, here's some pics:

Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

I wanted to try a smaller size (39 brazilian, US 10), just to see how they'd fit. Well, I don't know if it shows in the pics, but they barelly fit... Now I know for sure that I smust stick to sizes 40 (US 11) and up...

Fortunately, I already have a couple lined up, I'll try to buy them next week, after I receive my monthly pay. Cross your fingers! ;)

  16. Hello, everyone.

    Sorry guys;

After reading my message to Kennard, I tought it may have been rude to poste a message in a language that nobody could understand. I've just told him about my experiences buying large numbers heels in Brazil, and that some shops have quality models in numbers as big as USA 12, for prices as low as $10 (but you have to wait for the sales). I've recently bought a pair of black 5,75" ankle strap dorsay stilettos, 1" plataform, real leather, for $10 (they were renewing their collections). They were size 11, but with a large fit so I could comfortably wear it beeing a size 12.

Well, I have no doubt there are several shoe stores that might have shoes in my size. The problem is: I'm definitely not comfortable enough going to a shop and having to deal with salespeople and other costumers. That's why I like shopping online.

Maybe you could act as "middleman", buying the shoes for me.

    K.

  17. Hello, Everyone. Yes, I've thought about ordering shoes over eBay, but there are some problems... Not all sellers offer shipping to Brazil, and for those who do, the final price can get too expensive. Let me give you an example: there's this seller offering a pair of size 11 pumps for US$ 15.00, with international S&H adding US$ 17.00, so the final price is US$ 32.00. Brazilian taxes on imported items can get to 60%, so the price would go up to US$ 51.20. As of today, the exchange rate for the US dollar is US$ 1.00 = R$ 2,45. So I'd be paying R$ 125.44 for one pair of shoes. That's about the same ammount I paid for my two platforms, that's two pairs! And there's also the size problem. Would that specific US size 11 shoe really fit me? I'd hate to find out, after paying a lot of money, that it doesn't... ;) So, I think I'll keep trying to find local (brazilian) sellers. K.

  18. Hello, everyone.

    Kennard:-)

Those are some great pics and a couple of great pairs of heels. These days, you really can't be sure that you are not being monitored somehow security-wise. If your work place is anything like most, sometimes informational things are not always passed on to everyone. Sometimes you find out quite by accident. It is always good to be on the side of caution. It wouldn't be good to get caught and lose your job because of it. Shoot some pics to us if you can find anymore shoes in your size. We are more than happy to view them. Enjoy!

    Cheers---

    Dawn HH

I certainly wouldn't want to lose my job, but even if there was (and I really don't think there is) some surveilance, I don't think they'd fire me just because I walked around empty offices, after the regular working hours, wearing high heel shoes.

About finding more shoes to buy, I wish I could find a good online shop (here in Brazil), with a great variety of shoe styles and good (cheap) prices, and obviously the right size for me. So far, no shop has met all three requisites... :D

BTW, I wear men's size 41 (brazilian size) but those two platforms are actually size 40 (the black/silver is listed as US size 11). Most brazilian women's shoes are ranged between sizes 34 and 39, so even a size 40 is hard to find. I have yet to find a pair of size 41 pumps, which I really would like to have... :)

Oh well, I'll keep my eyes open and constantly looking. ;)

  19. Hello, everyone.

Lovely! those black and silver platforms are really pretty. Where did you get those?

    SP.

I got them at our local (brazilian) version of eBay, a website called Mercado Livre (means "free market"). I wish the seller had more shoes in my size...

Here's some pics with (I hope) better resolution:
