  1. I think language is very important and it appears to evolve at a rapid pace. I haven’t been on the forum for a long time and things have changed massively for me personally and I believe in society since I was last here.

it is far more acceptable I believe now for anyone presenting as male to wear heels, the battle is being won.

i do agree though that the goal is to be at a point where anyone can where what ever they personally chose and “acceptance” should not be a debate.

  2. Newfie I love the hat and make up look. It's something I do quite often myself. Probably an influence from my youth which was in the early 80's when most men wore make up and gender bending clothing. Well done keep up the good work, more and more of us about nowadays won't be long before the more cautious join us.

  3. It was a great day, everybody was very supportive and we did our best to promote LGBT issues. Our senior officers are very good and want everyone to be able to attend work comfortable with who they are and what they wear. we had a dress up day and lots of the ladies also came in gorgeous outfits and super high heels. Most people are aware I wear heels but had never seen me in my stilettos as they are not practical for every day wear at work as I wear a uniform/ have to conform to dress standards.

'How the hell do you walk in those' was the most common phrase I heard all day.

  4. Me in a hotel reception in London the other week for my 50th birthday, Mrs F does have another picture that shows the heel of better but these are a 4'' block heel. Very comfortable and easy to wear. I wore a pair of 4'' stilettoes to the theatre the following night but didn't get any pictures unfortunately.

  5. It may help her see how little people care about a man in heels and lead on to her letting you wear them at other events and outings. She clearly has some tolerance to it and that will only grow with more exposure. Have a great time and wear your highest heels but remember you will have to be in them a good while.

  6. I've said it on the other thread before I saw this one  but  sure  this forum is mainly for men who wear  heels as a fashion statement but present as a male. I choose to mix  and match wearing mostly female jeans tops and coats. I often throw in a waist coat and a broad brim hat  which most would see as very  male. My jewellery is very sparkly and I wear  a  fair amount of it  so it's clearly noticeable. My heels are  usually around the  4'' mark and are  block heels but I must  admit I have a  couple  of  very  nice  blade  heel boots  I wear a lot  at  the  moment.

I went out  for  a meal with several friends last  Saturday  to a  packed  restaurant and  was clearly dressed 'differently' to any other man present but had  no issues and  presented as male.

My point is  we are different  but for me that's part of  the  attraction, I'm sure  some  people who see  me  must  think I look strange/ silly  but  I'm not  really  bothered my friends  and  family  a re completely ok with it and I find it's so much more accepted now. S let's  wear  what  we please and discuss our fashion choices without prejudice.

I must  take  some  pictures  and  post  them so you can let  me  know what  you think.
