Dr. Shoe Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 Take a plank about an inch thick and wider than your foot. Draw around your foot and cut it out. sand down the edges to round them off a bit. Divide the foot shape into three across-ways. Rejoin the pieces with hinges in such a way that looking from the side the foot shape mimics the curves of a high heel shoe. Insert this into your shoe or boot using a quick spray of shoe stretcher and leave for a couple days or weeks depending on the amount of stretcing required. You may need to force these in quite aggressively but be careful not to bend the heel cup or the toe-puff.
